“Delicious Thai cuisine and exotic drinks served in a cozy down stairs area. Karaoke bar and lounge upstairs, with a nice selection of beers - bottled and draft. Excellent food and made to order ! David, the owner, is a great host and will adjust any dish to your liking. Try the chicken wrap and Scallion Pancakes appetizers with the homemade Thai O'Brien's hot sauce. The shrimp and lemon grass soup is spicy and awesome as well.“
“I wish they didn't close. Hopefully they'll reopen somewhere else. I moved out of Bayonne and was going to come all the way back specifically for the Tom Yum Seafood Noodle Soup. Nowhere else makes it even remotely as good as Sweet Chilli. I was so upset when I saw they closed specifically for this reason.“

“This place came highly recommended by several friends. Stopped in here for lunch with a couple of friends. The decor is really cute, it's like you're on a beach in the Caribbean with their bamboo accents and parrot mugs.. The staff were friendly and though it was peak lunch hour, we were seated immediately with no reservation. They didn't have many vegetarian options because of the fish sauce, so my friend had to settle with fried rice. We split the Gui Chad Tod as an appetizer and it came out fast, was tasty. I split the khao pad gak moo and Suki Hang with chicken. I didn't particularly like the khao pad gak moo because of the fried meat, but flavors went well together. The suki hang was really good though, the chicken was tender and the noodles were well seasoned. The portions for all of it were big, so I thought it was a good bang for your buck.“

“It is an amazing Southeast Asian restaurant with an elegant and comfortable environment, spacious enough for gatherings with friends and family. It also has a bar for couples to enjoy a drink. Every dish is incredibly authentic, reminds me of the happy times I spent in Thailand.?Spiced Corn RibsCorn Ribs are coated in a rich tamarind glaze that provides a sweet and tangy flavor, fresh cilantro sprinkled on top adds a burst of herbal freshness. The corn itself is naturally sweet and becomes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside after being flash-fried, presenting a satisfying chewiness.?Curry Pork RibsTwice-cooked ribs on the bone Mild Karee Curry, Seasoned with fragrant kaffir lime leaves, the meat is tender and easily falls off the bone. The curry flavor is very authentic, taking me on a culinary journey through Southeast Asia with each bite. Absolutely love it! ??eggyolk softshell crabThe outer layer is coated with a salty egg yolk sauce before frying, giving the softshell crab a thin and crispy shell. The flavor of the salty egg yolk is rich, complementing the tender and juicy meat inside. The taste is very unique and definitely worth trying.?Crying Tiger SteakGrilled 10oz ribeye steak marinated in Thai spices, served with Thai chimichurri sauce and crispy fingerlings, accompanied by Thai spicy sauce (Nam Jim Jeow), minced green onions, and fried garlic slices. This dish is absolutely mouthwatering and leaves a memorable aftertaste, making it a must-try. ??Drunken Noodles/ Pad Kee MaoThe wide rice noodles absorb the sauce and spices during stir-frying, while the beef is cooked to a crispy exterior and tender interior. This pairs perfectly with the crispness of the string beans and the fresh, spicy flavor of Thai basil. Absolutely love it!‼️?Pandan flanA Western-style dessert infused with the unique aroma of Southeast Asian pandan leaves. The flan has a smooth and delicate texture, soft and moist to the touch. I absolutely love the fresh scent brought by the pandan leaves! Its light green color, combined with the sweet flavor of caramel, creates a distinctive dessert that can only be found here!“

“My husband took me here for my birthday, initially, I wasn't happy at all because I wanted something sinful for dessert, and Thai restaurants aren't really known for this, but WOW! The food made up for that. I ended up with two main courses because I couldn't decide ?one being the crab fried rice YUM.My only complaint is the entry area being so small there's no place to wait especially if it is bad weather outside( it was pouring) and beware if you are a first-time customer you cannot sit at the bar while you wait to be seated, if you do you will be asked to move, and not very politely either? I will still go again and recommend this spot for Delicious food“

“The food and atmosphere was good. The only thing I didn't like is that on their profile it states its family friendly but it's not. Maybe for kids over 5 years old but not younger. They don't have boosters or high chairs. We had a stroller and they were trying to sit us upstairs and said they couldn't accommodate my baby upstairs that we could only sit outside. We sat outside because we came a long way. The food was good and everything else was OK. Just that first instance upon arrival that threw us off. They shouldn't write family friendly on their site because they make no family oriented accommodations. Not even cutlery or cups.Vegetarian options: Many of their dishes come vegetarian with the option to add meat.Dietary restrictions: They had many options and asked about food allergies upon ordering.Kid-friendliness: They shouldn't write family friendly on their site because they make no family oriented accommodations. Not even cutlery or cups. Maybe for kids 5+.Wheelchair accessibility: It had a ramp in the entrance. Very narrow in the inside. Looks like the space could accommodate a wheelchair if the restaurant makes the effort.“

“We had the larb ped too but were too hungry to take a photo! It was a wonderful meal. Love the grilled coconut sticky rice. As a person in the Lao diaspora, this Issan Thai spot hit all the flavors I am always craving. Love it, going to recommend it to all my Lao friends.“

“The food was delicious!!!! A friend told me that it would be very spicy, but I didn’t find it to be so. (Definitely had a zip to it but not too extreme) Service was attentive and pleasant. The only downside was the seating. The chairs were more like elementary school short stools. Quite uncomfortable, but I’d definitely go back just for the food!“

“Authentic and delicious Thai food tucked into Hell's Kitchen -- stopped here for a quick dinner before catching a show at the Lincoln Center, this is a short walk away! The service is fast and the staff are really nice. The Catfish Salad was the star of the show -- SO unique and crispy and the salad on top was perfectly seasoned. If you get one thing... get this!“

“Follow @dearfoodiepebbles on IG for more NYC food recommendations! Bangkok degree is my NEW FAVORITE THAI RESTAURANT IN NYC! ??? ?Every single main dish I tried there was truly a hit, no wonder they had a bustling full house throughout the night ? All their coconut curry broths were phenomenal, so savory and flavorful. They were super generous with ingredients - salmon was a huge slab, chunks of crab meat were piled on top of the fried rice, and there were so many mussels in Mussels Paradise! “I am so picky about the quality of food and the ambiance. This place has it all! If I could give it 10/5 stars, I would. The staff are friendly and quick! I really like how they are attentive and affable. The food, is CHEFS KISS. I have been here twice already - got the papaya salad and the Chomp Chomp duck and tried both the mango sticky rice and taro custard (for dessert)Allllll so good. I don't eat duck or eggplant but the Chomp Chomp Duck (one of their specials) is off the charts!!!!!!!!!Also, gotta get a classic Thai ice milk tea. I gotta come here again to try their other specials.“

“Their Curry and rice is delicious, but their Steamed dumplings with the dipping sauce is my favorite! The sauce for the curry actually tasted more indian than Thai, it was really good. It’s my first time trying a Thai Vegan restaurant, very unique & yummy ? I love that it’s I’m looking forward to trying more dishes from here!“

“Tasty Thai food in Fidi! The restaurant has a few cosy decorated booths which feels nice and private. On a Sunday night, it was quite busy with almost every table full after 7pm. Weeknights are also busy but you can usually always get a table without a reservation. We enjoyed some cocktails (quite sweet but still tasty), and the Hey Thai platter to start - which has a variety of appetizers including golden money bags, chicken satay, dumplings and chive pancake. The apps were tasty and a good option for sharing. Beef salad was tasty and had a good spicy dressing. Green curry was super creamy and warming. Also enjoyed the pad see ew. I loved the duck dish which was served with a curry sauce. We finished with some mango sticky rice!“

“One of my favorite cheap eats in Manhattan. I cannot explain how much I love this place. You go up to the counter to order and the food is ready within 5 minutes and served directly to your small table. And even though the restaurant itself is tiny, there always seems to be an open seat as people eat and leave very quickly. I ordered the Fried Chicken Rice and it was delicious!! Although there isn't a lot of chicken, the fried bits are fried to perfection as it isn't too oily and full of flavor. I especially liked dipping it into the sour and spicy sauce which elevated the chicken. The rice is also to die for as it is seeped with chicken broth, you can just eat this alone without anything else. Also, the soup is incredible as I love how much white pepper they put into the broth, the flavors are so incredibly intense. I love ME Chicken Rice. Probably top 10 favorite eats in NYC!“

“Order on the kiosk. Wait for your number to be called. Chicken cooked nicely. Ginger rice is ok. The soup on the side is a win win. Most side soups are boring. This soup taste fresh and nicely seasoned. The side spicy tamarind sauce for me is the best part!! Been here a few times. Mix chicken rice for $10.“

“When I say that I love this place! Me and a best foodie friend of mine came to RUA a couple of weeks back and had a TIME!Our server was incredible, not knot was she the sweetest thing ever she gave some really great suggestions on drinks and dessert.I’m vegan and my girl friend and I ordered food together. Although she’s not vegan she opted in to share two vegan appetizers, two vegan entrees, and one shared dessert.I am a Thai food feign! And not every plan offers alternatives to their protein options. Now, don’t get me wrong, as a vegan I LOVE me some vegetables. But sometimes I’m looking for another flavor profile or texture and it’s a bummer when they don’t have it.NOT HERE! RUA had EVERYTHING!Not only did they have vegetables options, they had an option for Tofu, Mock Duck, AND Vegan Shrimp! This is the ONLY Thai restaurant I’ve ever been to so far in the U.S. (out of Cali, NY, GA, FL, or Massachusetts!) that serves Vegan Shrimp.Vegan shrimp is usually made from a fruit called Konjac, which is a plant, that when cooked, truly mimics the texture and visual aesthetic of shrimp. In the end, we orderedVeggie Spring rolls (my all time favorite)Fried TofuRed Curry with Mock Duck (literally so delicious!)Pad Thai with Vegan Shrimpand sticky Mango RiceAnd as two sober baddies! We opted in for their Butterfly Pea Lychee Soda (SO FREAKING YUMMY) and their Strawberry Guava FizzCHEF’S KISS!!Dietary restrictions: Amazing Vegan Options!“

“Wow. I’m impressed. We decided to order from One More Charm on Doordash for the first time after reading the reviews and seeing the photos... and they did not disappoint. Food was delivered hot and fresh, with good ingredients and so much flavor. The chicken Pad Thai had more flavor than several other restaurants in the vicinity, and the Panang Curry had the perfect amount of spice. We will definitely order again, soon ;)“

“This eatery presents an intriguing Thai and Japanese fusion, deviating from traditional Thai dishes with a distinctive twist. I sampled the Pad Thai, which melds Thai sourness with a hint of Japanese sweetness. While I found the dish a tad too sweet for my taste, it was manageable. The restaurant operates as a one-man show, with the owner single-handedly hosting, serving, bussing, and cooking. His welcoming presence and constant smile were the highlights of my visit.Despite the enjoyable experience, the unique flavor profile didn’t quite suit my palate, so I likely won’t return for the food.“

“A relatively small restaurant, that some would call intimate, we just found it cozy and really nice and warm. The people are terrific who all work there and the food is very very good and very spicy. So I imagine closer to authentic Thai food (I haven't been to Thailand). I haven't tried the three pepper "Thai spicy" entrées, but I bet they're fierce. The service is lovely. Seems like a very small operation but very attentive and the food came out very quickly. They also have a pretty wide drink menu but we didn't get to explore any of that yet, hope to next time!“
