“This place came highly recommended by several friends. Stopped in here for lunch with a couple of friends. The decor is really cute, it's like you're on a beach in the Caribbean with their bamboo accents and parrot mugs.. The staff were friendly and though it was peak lunch hour, we were seated immediately with no reservation. They didn't have many vegetarian options because of the fish sauce, so my friend had to settle with fried rice. We split the Gui Chad Tod as an appetizer and it came out fast, was tasty. I split the khao pad gak moo and Suki Hang with chicken. I didn't particularly like the khao pad gak moo because of the fried meat, but flavors went well together. The suki hang was really good though, the chicken was tender and the noodles were well seasoned. The portions for all of it were big, so I thought it was a good bang for your buck.“

“It is an amazing Southeast Asian restaurant with an elegant and comfortable environment, spacious enough for gatherings with friends and family. It also has a bar for couples to enjoy a drink. Every dish is incredibly authentic, reminds me of the happy times I spent in Thailand.?Spiced Corn RibsCorn Ribs are coated in a rich tamarind glaze that provides a sweet and tangy flavor, fresh cilantro sprinkled on top adds a burst of herbal freshness. The corn itself is naturally sweet and becomes crispy on the outside and soft on the inside after being flash-fried, presenting a satisfying chewiness.?Curry Pork RibsTwice-cooked ribs on the bone Mild Karee Curry, Seasoned with fragrant kaffir lime leaves, the meat is tender and easily falls off the bone. The curry flavor is very authentic, taking me on a culinary journey through Southeast Asia with each bite. Absolutely love it! ??eggyolk softshell crabThe outer layer is coated with a salty egg yolk sauce before frying, giving the softshell crab a thin and crispy shell. The flavor of the salty egg yolk is rich, complementing the tender and juicy meat inside. The taste is very unique and definitely worth trying.?Crying Tiger SteakGrilled 10oz ribeye steak marinated in Thai spices, served with Thai chimichurri sauce and crispy fingerlings, accompanied by Thai spicy sauce (Nam Jim Jeow), minced green onions, and fried garlic slices. This dish is absolutely mouthwatering and leaves a memorable aftertaste, making it a must-try. ??Drunken Noodles/ Pad Kee MaoThe wide rice noodles absorb the sauce and spices during stir-frying, while the beef is cooked to a crispy exterior and tender interior. This pairs perfectly with the crispness of the string beans and the fresh, spicy flavor of Thai basil. Absolutely love it!‼️?Pandan flanA Western-style dessert infused with the unique aroma of Southeast Asian pandan leaves. The flan has a smooth and delicate texture, soft and moist to the touch. I absolutely love the fresh scent brought by the pandan leaves! Its light green color, combined with the sweet flavor of caramel, creates a distinctive dessert that can only be found here!“

“Came back a second time and can officially say Tong Brooklyn in Bushwick is the best Thai food I know of in NYC, in the same class as LA and Thailand. And one of my favorite restaurants periodt. Everything has been top tier and filled with delight and surprise.“

“My husband took me here for my birthday, initially, I wasn't happy at all because I wanted something sinful for dessert, and Thai restaurants aren't really known for this, but WOW! The food made up for that. I ended up with two main courses because I couldn't decide ?one being the crab fried rice YUM.My only complaint is the entry area being so small there's no place to wait especially if it is bad weather outside( it was pouring) and beware if you are a first-time customer you cannot sit at the bar while you wait to be seated, if you do you will be asked to move, and not very politely either? I will still go again and recommend this spot for Delicious food“

Although the Lychee Martinis contain no vodka (Saki instead) they are fab and definitely get you buzzed! Ask for Yammie when you come! She’s the sweetest! You won’t regret visiting this establishment!!!“

“The food and atmosphere was good. The only thing I didn't like is that on their profile it states its family friendly but it's not. Maybe for kids over 5 years old but not younger. They don't have boosters or high chairs. We had a stroller and they were trying to sit us upstairs and said they couldn't accommodate my baby upstairs that we could only sit outside. We sat outside because we came a long way. The food was good and everything else was OK. Just that first instance upon arrival that threw us off. They shouldn't write family friendly on their site because they make no family oriented accommodations. Not even cutlery or cups.Vegetarian options: Many of their dishes come vegetarian with the option to add meat.Dietary restrictions: They had many options and asked about food allergies upon ordering.Kid-friendliness: They shouldn't write family friendly on their site because they make no family oriented accommodations. Not even cutlery or cups. Maybe for kids 5+.Wheelchair accessibility: It had a ramp in the entrance. Very narrow in the inside. Looks like the space could accommodate a wheelchair if the restaurant makes the effort.“

“Authentic and delicious Thai food tucked into Hell's Kitchen -- stopped here for a quick dinner before catching a show at the Lincoln Center, this is a short walk away! The service is fast and the staff are really nice. The Catfish Salad was the star of the show -- SO unique and crispy and the salad on top was perfectly seasoned. If you get one thing... get this!“

“The food was delicious!!!! A friend told me that it would be very spicy, but I didn’t find it to be so. (Definitely had a zip to it but not too extreme) Service was attentive and pleasant. The only downside was the seating. The chairs were more like elementary school short stools. Quite uncomfortable, but I’d definitely go back just for the food!“

“Follow @dearfoodiepebbles on IG for more NYC food recommendations! Bangkok degree is my NEW FAVORITE THAI RESTAURANT IN NYC! ??? ?Every single main dish I tried there was truly a hit, no wonder they had a bustling full house throughout the night ? All their coconut curry broths were phenomenal, so savory and flavorful. They were super generous with ingredients - salmon was a huge slab, chunks of crab meat were piled on top of the fried rice, and there were so many mussels in Mussels Paradise! Ended off the meal with the best mango sticky rice ever - the perfectly ripe mango paired really well with the soft sticky rice in this unexpectedly sweet combo.Ft.Tom Yum Shrimp $8Mussels Paradise $17DB Drunken Noodle $23Colossal Crab Meat Fried Rice $30Salmon Stone Pot $25Pineapple Lychee Crispy Duck $30River Prawns Green Curry $30Mango Sticky Rice $12Thai Iced Tea $5Angel’s Kiss Yuzu Cocktail $18?Bangkok Degree (Park Slope, Brooklyn)[847A Union St, Brooklyn, NY 11215]“

“Their Curry and rice is delicious, but their Steamed dumplings with the dipping sauce is my favorite! The sauce for the curry actually tasted more indian than Thai, it was really good. I really like how they are attentive and affable. The food, is CHEFS KISS. I have been here twice already - got the papaya salad and the Chomp Chomp duck and tried both the mango sticky rice and taro custard (for dessert)Allllll so good. I don't eat duck or eggplant but the Chomp Chomp Duck (one of their specials) is off the charts!!!!!!!!!Also, gotta get a classic Thai ice milk tea. “One of my favorite cheap eats in Manhattan. I cannot explain how much I love this place. You go up to the counter to order and the food is ready within 5 minutes and served directly to your small table. And even though the restaurant itself is tiny, there always seems to be an open seat as people eat and leave very quickly. I ordered the Fried Chicken Rice and it was delicious!! Although there isn't a lot of chicken, the fried bits are fried to perfection as it isn't too oily and full of flavor. I especially liked dipping it into the sour and spicy sauce which elevated the chicken. The rice is also to die for as it is seeped with chicken broth, you can just eat this alone without anything else. Also, the soup is incredible as I love how much white pepper they put into the broth, the flavors are so incredibly intense. I love ME Chicken Rice. Probably top 10 favorite eats in NYC!“

“Tasty Thai food in Fidi! The restaurant has a few cosy decorated booths which feels nice and private. On a Sunday night, it was quite busy with almost every table full after 7pm. Weeknights are also busy but you can usually always get a table without a reservation. We enjoyed some cocktails (quite sweet but still tasty), and the Hey Thai platter to start - which has a variety of appetizers including golden money bags, chicken satay, dumplings and chive pancake. The apps were tasty and a good option for sharing. Beef salad was tasty and had a good spicy dressing. Green curry was super creamy and warming. Also enjoyed the pad see ew. I loved the duck dish which was served with a curry sauce. We finished with some mango sticky rice!“

“Good Thai food, good portions, reasonable prices, good service. Underrated, but also nothing amazing. Just solid. I wish they had better alcohol selection, given that this is not BYOB (they have beer and sweet, cheap wine) and the interior decor has a strong whore house ambience with the red lighting, but if you're there to drink Thai beer and don't mind the Bangkok red light district aesthetic, Bangkok City shouldn't disappoint.“
