“I walked past Pierre & Michel Authentic French Bakery last weekend, after I'd eaten, so I promised myself I'd return today. First, I love the shop. It friendly & inviting. Plenty of small round tables and a few comfy chairs and a couch. Very inviting. I sat across from a huge wall painting of Paris/Eiffel Tower on a misty day . I feel like I can walk into it and be instantly in Paris. Reminds me of the woody Allen movie. Everything looks amazing. I believe all the baking is done here because new pastry treats keep emerging from the back, filling the air with buttery sweet smells. I decided to test the French fare with a coffee and an apricot croissant . I took a seat, a few moments later, the server brought me my trial treat. One word: incroyable The croissant was (emphasize the word 'was') buttery soft & lite, several delicate slices of apricot and filled with a creamy vanilla? Pudding. It's gone. I devoured each bite and my mouth was pleased. The coffee is amazing (I don't know what brand) perfect with the heavenly croissant. I'll be back many times. I love the experience Pierre & Michel have crafted. I've decided I'm taking one of their fresh baked baguettes home with me for nibbling on all afternoon. Pierre & Michel Authentic French Bakery is a "must do" please come here. Let's make them a wild success. Somerville Main Street now has a few square feet of Paris J'adore cet endroit“

“The food was very good. Our party each tried something different and 4/5 of us loved our lunch entrees. The service here was very nice. Our waiter even provided a slice of avocado and a small spoon at no cost for the baby attending lunch with us. The atmosphere feels like you are actually in Thailand. Thank you for such kindness and yummy food!“

“I’m in the area for just one night and needed to figure out where I could get a quick dinner. I saw Sophie’s Bistro and after getting a recommendation from a colleague, I made a reservation. It’s a really casual place; not pretentious in any way, but the bartender was both talented and conversational and made something off menu to enjoy. For dinner, I decided on French Onion Soup and Steak Frites and thoroughly enjoyed myself. Besides this, the bread service they bake in house is amazing and I learned about the owner and how he treats his people and that made me even happier that I came in. I wish we had a place like this where I live; I would be there all the time. I’m not sure when I’ll be back in the area, but next time I’m near Somerset, I know where I’ll do dinner. Give it a try, you’ll be happy“

“We love their food and the atmosphere is really relaxing … we used to go all the time…unfortunately they rush you to take your order and they rush to give you your check. We’ve been there many many times, but won’t go anymore because they stand around and want you to leave after you finish dinner. We like yo sit and have wine. We made a reservation for 7;30 for 8 ppl and they said “ be sure you’re all here by 7:30”. At 9:00 they gave us the check with out asking about dessert and we had a birthday we wanted dessert for. So sorry we won’t ho anymore“

“I visited here for the first time today and ordered a latte, mango mousse and pesto sandwich. It was delicious. The cafe was very clean and comfortable and the waitresses were outstanding- very polite and courteous. Will absolutely recommend!“
