“This is an iconic Brooklyn staple… one of the best pizzerias around. They’re famous for their Square/Sicilian Pies, and they now have a Square Vodka Sauce Pie as well. You can order any kind of pizza and I guarantee it’ll be delicious. There’s indoor dining as well and you can order delicious Italian dishes as well as Italian Ices for desert. There’s ample seating outdoors and indoors and a small parking lot. This location is wheelchair accessible and there is metered parking on the street, across the street, and there is free parking on the local streets surrounding the shop.Parking: The parking lot isn’t huge and may be shared with a neighboring restaurant. I’ve typically always been able to park my car here. If not, there’s paid meter parking on the street or you can drive up or down local streets to find free parking spots.Kid-friendliness: You’ll mainly see families sitting outdoors with their kids or even organizing a birthday party indoors. The Italian ices are also a great treat for kids.Wheelchair accessibility: This is all one-level, so there are no stairs or ramps necessary. There’s parking right next to the pizzeria and ample clearance for a wheelchair.“
“One of my favorite pizza spots in Brooklyn. They are known for their Detroit style square pies. Excellent soft dough with delicious sauce & cheese. The inside is very electric & creatively put together. My first Detroit style pizza experience & I loved it.Parking: Paid street parking available outside but can be a bit difficult to find an available spot.“
“Also packed with a line outside the door for late lunch - but the interior is spacious with also outdoor seating! We got the Hell Boy and Mutz, which was a lot flavorful than a typical white pie with a great oomph from the garlic. We've tried the Hell Boy slice at MSG but getting it fresh and hot here is best - the sesame dough crunch is unreal!“
“This is my favorite Italian restaurant in NYC. And they have the best pizza in the city in my opinion. I’m Italian and it’s very hard to find true Italian pizza!! But you can definitely find it at Aromi. You can also chat with the owners and the staff, they are really kind and the service is awesome. Also they have real delicious mascarpone and every time I ate that I wanted to cry because it reminds me of Italy! Really recommended!“
“probably the best pizza in new york city. the food was great, we tried 3 different options (and yes, we exchanged slices), they were all to die for. we ordered the spinaci salad and it was the best salad i’ve ever had. note: one salad is not enough to share since it is so good.“
“i ordered their prosciutto and burrata (which comes with imported burrata and 24 Month prosciutto di parma), tonnarelli cacio e pepe (pasta with pecorino and black pepper), and infernetto pinsa (roman style pizza with tomato, mozzarella, spicy soppressata, and pecorino). all in all, every dish was made with fine ingredients and was cooked well. the burrata was very creamy and delicious, i would recommend it if you’re a fan of burrata cheese. the pizza had a good coal fire taste to it and came out hot and flavorful (the spicy soppressata was tasty, but i would like to try some of their other flavors eventually). the cacio e pepe was tasty and had a strong pecorino flavor (creamy, rich, slight cheesy musk to it). the pasta had good texture and mouthfeel (firm al dente noodles). all in all a decent spot for italian!“
“We stopped by Roberta's for dinner after a comedy show. It was pouring out but Roberta's was packed and required a bit of a wait. We were seated in the back area where there was ample seating. We ordered: + Stracciatella: we attacked this appetizer once it came to our table. This dish came with two slices of bread which was enough for the big blob of cheese. + Marinated Olives: these were delicious and were fun to eat with our drinks + Little Gem Salad: this salad was refreshing, crunchy, and delicious. + Margherita Pizza: a basic margherita pizza done well. The crusts were also divulged (that's when you can tell the pizza is good). +Ice Cream Sandwich: we ended our dessert with their recommended sticky bun and ice cream dish. This was delicious and well worth the try. They tried to market it as a cinnamon roll but it is definitely much better than that. The staff was fun. They came by often to check on us but let us alone to chill for as long a we wanted. Cheers.“
“Solid spot for a slice or two of pizza. A little limited in options, but still delicious for the classic options. Plus their hot honey hits just right. Some limited seating in the back but the turnover is decent. Service was quick and brought it out to the table.“
“Adult pizza place. We chose an app, a pasta (on special), and a pizza. Our simple palettes chose the Margherita pizza, the pasta assasina (assassin's pasta), and the fried calamari & zucchini app. First of all, every ingredient in everything tasted extremely fresh, down to the basil on the pizza. The calamari is now on my list of favorite calamaris out there! It was light, tender, piping hot and fresh, and the zucchini mixed in was a nice added flavor. It came with lemon wedges and some kind of mayo-based-tasting sauce. Fantastic! The pizza was rustic, purposely irregularly shaped, and fresh. It was thin on the bottom with a toasty tasting crust. With the other 2 dishes also ordered, we split this approximate 10" pie. We likened it to Patsy's. The assassin's pasta was described as cooked in sauce rather than water and then baked with some cheese and chili oil. It was crunchy, and flavorful, but not something I'd order as my meal. It was a good crunchy side to the pizza, and was kinda reminiscent of frying leftover spaghetti to a crunchy texture. The chili oil added a pleasant twist. There are many other pizzas on the menu, but we chose the simple, non-fussy one. But if you're into pizza that's a little different you'll enjoy it here! The small dining room was warm and rustic, and the service was great!“
“Never disappoints. The slice is crispy, clean, yet light and fluffy. The flavors complete and complement each other. I had the sage, sausage and onion, sweetish slice with the garlic knots. This is probably my 3rd time coming here (have also visited Frankie’s next door which I also recommend). The back is a vibe. I was hoping to gatekeep this place but I realize that everyone is Brooklyn already kinda knows it so oh well.“
“I ordered take out from here so I cannot comment about ambiance or service. I got the pasta with vodka sauce. It was good. Nice portion. Just needed more cheese. The arancini was really good but the sauce didn't go with it at all. I used the leftover vodka sauce instead.“
“This restaurant has been my go-to spot since they opened, and I must say, the food quality has been consistently amazing and tasty. The flavors are rich, the ingredients fresh, and every bite is a delightful experience. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for delicious and authentic pide.“
“The food here is so so good!! I'm still thinking about it days later. The 2 of us split a salad, mushroom pizza, and pasta & there was not a crumb left on the plate. Everything is super fresh and perfectly cooked & they have plenty of vegetarian friendly options. Service was speedy & I definitely recommend a reservation because it was packed on a Friday night. The restaurant is not too big so it did feel a little cramped but it was worth the squeeze for that meal. They also have some really great drinks.“
“I have been trying to find this style of pizza (fresh soft chewy but crispy dough) ever since I moved to nyc. So happy I found it ?the decor inside is simple but aesthetic. They have a small selection of beers including two local options. Staff were lovely.“
“Really nice place to hang after work. Love the atmosphere and the bathroom tip box and the feet only sink. Also love the blueberry crepe thing - I've never had such a dessert in my life. Got whatever wine the server recommended and it worked out well. The music was really good - chill but fun.“
“Awesome waiter. He was really friendly. The food took a little longer than is usual maybe but they only have 1 oven and that's part of the charm. It's good pizza good calzones. The oven is hot. People are happy. It's a loud family vibe kinda place. I'd take my kid here if I had a kid. I feel like a kid would love this place.“
“Took my kids to a concert and hoops game earlier this week and stopped here for pizza after reading great things. Boy am I glad we did! The pizza was phenomenal, first class all the way. Mind you this is different than the classic Neapolitan slices most favor, but so worth trying. Made in a deep dish rectangular pan, the crust is insane with crispy edges of cheese all around it. Wow. Every ingredient was made or sourced with intention and quality. The freshness of the sauce, the cheeses, the herbs, I don't know when to stop. It's a culinary experience in a pan. The menu is eclectic yet classic at the same time. Try it for yourself as soon as possible! Lastly I must give thanks to the owner, who made our pizza. When he found out my daughter was seeing a concert he inquired about who she was seeing and where. Next thing I know Benson Boone is playing on the sound system. Made her night and made a fan out of me. That willingness to connect with us was so appreciated and accepted. We need more of it in this world. Thank you again, the sky's the limit for this perfect little pizza place.“
“Joe and Sal will not disappoint you. This is what happens two young guys open up a place and use great ingredients. The pizza was amazing. The shop is cool and the best part for me was all the different options they have. God Bless these guys.“
“Our local pizza gem!Shrimp / Clam / Vodka / Funghi are the mvp slices. Picante also good if you like the heat.Tried the burger today which really hit the spot.Owner / Staff are very friendly. Pizza chefs care a lot about their craft, down to the last basil theyre garnishing with.“
“No frills, no glam, just GOOD PIZZA. This is our absolute go to spot for pizza anywhere in there city. I am out in Queens and whenever me and my family want pizza, this is our go to place. We’ve had almost every type of slice at this point and none of them disappoint.“
“Walked in this place on a a busy Sunday afternoon, yet were welcomed cordially with a smile from all the workers. The Baked Ziti & The Penne Vodka were very delicious and well cooked. The Pizza guy, Henrique is recognized from a different place & continues to flourish while?Yigal, the owner is very courteous and made sure every table was taken care off. Prices were reasonable too. Recommended !“
“Best place if you want a good slice. Trust me, I've tried everywhere else, AveUe Pizza beats them all by a mile. Fries are really good too, they gave me some much I couldn't finish them all. I highly recommend this place, I love coming here. While you're there say hi to Ned, he'll take good care of you! Enjoy!“
“Just came back from Mother's Day Brunch with my sons and husband. Food was excellent as was the service! Beet salad was so good, burgers cooked to perfection, shakshuka with merguez sausage was delicious, the white truffles pizza with poached eggs was amazing!! Thank you Wild for a 100% gluten free restaurant with 100% great food!“
“What a fantastic crust. Light and crisp, yet possessed of the flexibility to hold a tight fold and the strength to maintain the topping without drooping; like a cracker steeped in yoga AND pilates. Clearly, this pizza inspires expansive thinking!“
“I recently visited Juliana’s, and while the experience was not bad, it wasn't particularly memorable either. The place and the pizza itself didn’t stand out. I ordered the N1, and it was okay. There wasn’t anything that would make me want to come back again ( ave service, ingredients and flavors) There are better options in NYC (and actually cheaper). I don't understand the hype; perhaps it was my selection.“
“First time visiting Brooklyn and this place was our first op. A Cool vibe. Got margherita pizza and pretzel here. Variety of beers to chose from. I chose the nitro oat stout since it was a cold day in Brooklyn. Great service- waitress was very attentive and the food came out very fast.“
“Cuts & Slices is more than deserving and well worth its hype. The best pizza I've had in NY (only been 4 times) since Joe's. I tried the Chopped Cheese and Curry Chicken Slice (my friends had the oxtail, amazing btw) and I was blown away. The service is top notch and professional, gracious even, they gave us free slices as well. Small, local, feel, but big city taste! Try immediately, I'll be back to try their Queens location next!“
“Best best pizza I’ve had in a long time! Cheese is just right not too watery or anything it’s just right! Thin crust slices and their options are plenty. Rolls Chicken or Sausage are the bomb! Nice lil yard in the back menu above the wall is clear and very good. The owner classic ITALIAN from Brooklyn Downtown and he’s all business but really cool. Hires Latinos and treats them well - speaks to them in Spanish like a cool boss should!“
“We stumbled across Leo when we wanted a chill Italian spot for dinner in Williamsburg. We came at an awkward time (~4:30pm) so we didn't see many people as we walked in. A couple hours in, the music was played a bit loudly so was a little hard to hear sometimes! Still, I would say this is a cute and cozy date spot. We got the clam pie, which is a special. Shared between two, we were satisfied, but would order one more dish in addition, since we were so hungry!“
“The cheese pizza slice was ok but the tomato peppers slice was AMAZING! The service was professional and there was a decent size eating area. The table areas could've used some cleaning up (napkins and pizza crust) but the place was fairly clean and well lit. If I was ever in the area again I would definitely go back for that slice alone!!!“
“A Brooklyn classic that can never die. It’s been a while since I have had the privilege of enjoying the snap of their thin crust, NY classic pie, but like anything good in NYC, the mere fact that they have lived on for so long is a testament to the truly home grown product they provide to Brooklyn.Their Sicilian pie is a wonderfully soft, cake-like dough with a crisp crust and a perfect combination of their house-blended cheese and a wonderfully balanced light coating of house-seasoned sauce.Nothing beats a bite at the outside counter. This place should be a NYC historical landmark and I’m happy to see that they are still going strong and serving Bay Ridge with pride.“
“For an Italian spot in bushwick, this is the place. Looks can be deceiving and this place was packed on a Friday night. The vibes reminded me of a railroads style cozy apartment with a full kitchen and pizza oven. The hustle and bustle of the kitchen staff zooming by saying ‘corner’ just added the amusement. Perfect for dinner with small group of friends to catch up.The food was great. Brussel sprouts were charred nicely with a tomato paste type sauce. The crudo was flavorful, I just wished I had a a better fish to grape ratio (a little more fish, less grapes). The pizza was great (thin crust), but didn’t taste the garlic come thru as much as we’d like. Pasta was good but the sauce was amazing. The highlight was definitely the chocolate cake with olive oil, sea salt & cream. We got it with the honey ice cream and it was not too sweet or rich, flavor pairing was divine.Staff were friendly and bathrooms were clean. There menu does change every so often, so looking to be back when it does.“
“Beautiful restaurant with the perfect ambiance, helpful waiters and staff, and most of food great variety of choices and the food is truly amazing! An epic experience indeed!Kid-friendliness: My friend brought her tot, and the kids food choices were perfect“
“Our favorite pizza place in all of NYC (maybe the world), exceptional service, unbelievably tasty pizza, great beer selection. Try the montak IPA with your pizza, and follow it up with their delicious tiramisu desert, you won't regret it.“
“Our Botte experience was incredible. Fast, kind service from Nick and the rest of the team and the food was life changing. I’m gob smacked. Get the carbonara if you want some rich bacony goodness!! I wish I had a picture of my beautifully plated meal to share but maybe the one I’m attaching speaks volumes anyway.“
“Ohmygod! First of all, the nicest guys in sandwich game! Unfortunately, I didn’t catch the name of the guy helping me, but what a class act. Unsolicited, he brought my food out to my car in the pouring rain! AND there was a free Boston crème donut in the bag! What?! Who does that? And then, I tried my “All Actions” sandwich, plussed up with grilled chicken… and I must say, unusually delicious—from the freshness of the ingredients, the optimal proportions and construction, and the exemplary pesto . You see, I am someone who takes sandwiches extremely seriously, and clearly Eat Street does too! Now, I would never come to expect this kind of treatment in general, but this experience clearly indicates how they feel about their customers and their product. I am forced to recommend this fine purveyor of sexy sandwiches to damn near anyone who will listen to me as I scream it from the Brooklyn rooftops“
“I had been hearing about their excellent bagels for a long time. When I arrived today they were closed and cleaning up. Latino gentleman (Manager, bartender?) was so kind. He made me feel like I just walked into his home. Great experience.“
“Went for a late dinner last night at the location in Dyker Heights and so glad we did. We had the specials: Rigatoni with braised shredded Short ribs and Reggiano Parmigiano and Escarole and white beans sautéed with fresh garlic and Extra Virgin Olive oil w roasted Atlantic Salmon. It was delicious! This restaurant never disappoints and the food is always consistent and on point. The staff is friendly and welcoming, which makes dining here even more enjoyable. I highly recommend La Villa in Dyker Heights!“
“been here several times over a period of months, just to get a feel for everything. Awesome customer service, made to feel welcome always.Slices were prepared exactly the way I wanted- don’t sleep on the buffalo chicken. If you are ever on that end of Union, don’t miss this spot!!!“
“Great old school, style pizza. Delicious Sicilian (square) slice. His tomato sauce is aauthentic home-style. One of my favorite pizzerias around. I have lived in Brooklyn for 53 years and Summer in Italy yearly l, so I had a lot of pizza in my life. Espresso pizza. 'Molto Bene'. He should be reviewed by Dave Portnoy of Barstool Sports...I recommend this place without reservation.“
“Table 40 exceeded my expectations for our Hanukkah party! The food was not only impeccably presented but also a delightful culinary experience. Each dish showcased a perfect blend of flavors, catering to diverse palates. The attention to detail and freshness of ingredients stood out, leaving a lasting impression on our guests. Table 40's catering service is an absolute gem, making our celebration truly memorable.“
“Update: Dinner was amazing too! I had their meatballs, minestrone soup, and their cheesecake, fantastic, Chef’s kiss, indeed.I usually have their pizza, with an iced chai or a cold brew. Their staff is so kind! Truly A+ it’s a new fave, highly recommend. Their parsnip soup is wonderful, and I’ve their salads too. all incredible!“
“The restaurant has a very nice aesthetic. You walk in and right away are welcomed by an old timey 50s era-esque coca cola vending machine and the bar. It's a bit of a squeeze to get to the seating are but it's very pleasant to look at even from the outside. The brick wall full of pictures are fun to look at and see all the celebrity photos. The touch of actual small fire lamps on the tables is a very nice touch and reminiscent of camping lanterns from the olden days.We ordered the vegan veggie pizza and vegan bruschetta. I could eat the Bruschetta all day long if given the opportunity. The vegan pizza was delicious as well. My only gripe with the pizza was I would have left the eggplant and zucchini off of it because they didn't get cooked properly enough to fit with the mushrooms, peppers, and olives. They took away from the experience but not enough to make it bad.Overall great time and great attentive staff. Definitely worth checking out! I'll want to come back to try the vegan pastas next time!“
“The food was very good. The burger was as good as I’d hoped, although the accompanying waffle fries weren’t a patch on good fries. The vegetarian pizza was also very good. Could have been a touch crispier and wouldn’t have hurt being cooked for another minute. The service was very poor. There was no interest in the customer, it does have a conveyer belt feel. Get in, eat, get out. There’s no warmth with the service. I wished for a better experience, one that the food deservesDon’t sit outside in the cold. We did and the awning was left open. We had to continue closing it. The waiter kept opening and never once asked if we were comfortable“
“I had a couple slices of pepperoni pizza last month here with low expectations and was impressed. Best pizza in NYC? No but up there with the best $3 slices in NYC. The bagels are handmade here and lovely as well. But on to the star of the show: the Indian food is great. Chicken Chaat was really spicy in a nice way, a medley of great flavor with some heat. Samosas were fresh and crunchy on the outside. Lamb biryani was delightful, not too herbaceous but well balanced and nice meat chunks.I'll be back soon to try the Indian fusion pizza! Can't wait.Update: the Indian pizza is the best. Why is this not a thing yet? It will be soon. The crust could be better but the flavors on all their pizzas are phenomenal. The chefs here are creative and care about the quality they put out.I just tried their bagels again and maybe I got a fresh batch but they are so much better than I remember. Soft and chewy with perfect flavor. Not very dense but I think that's a plus. Omar's is one of my favorite places in Brooklyn. They deliver quickly and everything is great. We've ordered a dozen times from Omar's and have never been disappointed. My favorite dish is probably lamb korma. I hope they will offer a lamb korma pizza one day. I luv Omar's!“
“The perfect rendition of a NY slice shop with excellent pizza. Crust is classic NY slice with great crisp, taste and chew. The Grandma slice was delicious _ more sauce and well seasoned to balance the thicker square slice.Notes about scoring:1 star = Memorably awful2 star = Not good and would avoid3 star = Good but would not return4 star = Recommended5 star = Incredible and must visit if you can“
“This is such an awesome pizza spot selling a limited menu of simple but elevated slices that were definitely among the best I’ve had the past year. The pepperoni can out hot and oozing with cheese with nice sweetness to the tomato sauce and an excellent crunchy char to the crust. I loved the hot shallot as well which had a great spiciness to it. But the white pizza was the biggest surprise. I’ve never had squeezed lemon juice on a pizza but it was such a revelation! So good!“
“I have celiac, so I have to eat gluten-free. I found this place because of the reviews and wow it didn't disappoint. I got the Margherita pizza, and it was the best gf pizza I've had. I didn't have a reaction. The waiter was so friendly, and the customer service was A+. Music was great, too. Definitely coming back.Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free“
“I travel from the Bronx for this pizza. Every time I call, I am always treated with respect and courtesy. When I arrive to pick up my order, it is fresh and handled with care. They make sure my order is correct and always ask if I am satisfied with my order before leaving. I appreciate the attention to the details.“
“This is the best pizza I have ever had, nice crisp, light crust with just the right amount of toppings, no grease at all. I live in CT and thought no pizza was better than our New Haven ones, boy was I wrong!!! Looking forward to returning……soon!“
