“We had an amazing experience at Claud last night. The service couldn't have been better, and the food was amazing. We ordered the squash fritters, foie gras terrine, red shrimp, chicken liver agnolotti and rice pudding for dessert. We were also able to try the kampachi with kumquat and yuzu which was so fresh bright and delicious. The squash fritters had such a light and delicious batter and covered with pecorino. They were amazing. We loved the foie gras terrine with the most delicious sourdough bread. The red shrimp was one of my favorites. So simple and full of flavor. The agnolotti were fantastic. The pork chop was cooked perfectly and were covered in delicious smoked onion jus. The glazed carrots were so unique and delectable. The rice pudding was one of the best we've ever had. This was one of the best meals we've had in NYC. It would be hard to find anything better.“

“It’s as good as everyone says it isWe ordered half the menu & nothing was less than fantastic. Cocktails were all good, boozy, and well crafted. We loved the scotch egg, and honestly the fries were something to write home about. Duck pie & the burger were the stars of the meal.“

“TLDR: Replacing what was The Breslin is now Koloman. This is a very European restaurant. I've only been for lunch but for this level of dining, probably one of the better prefixe menus. I think the focaccia is worth it and for my selections, tartare, schnitzel and strudel.I went through a week of just eating a lot of fancy lunches solo. This day I hit up Koloman as I was curious about their prefixe for awhile.I added the warm pumpkin focaccia and yeah - that was tasty. Definitely rubbed in plenty of oil but it was nicely crispy on the outside but oh so fluffy on the inside. That butter was something else too.For the selections I started with the tartare. Typical french preparation, not too eggy or rich. Adequate acidity and very flavorful.Schnitzel. I wanted to like this a bit more but it was still good. The schnitzel coating was quite thin but maybe the way it was plated on top of each other - it kind of steamed out the coating and it just fell off. I liked the warm potato salad that accompanied it. I still am not a fan of lingonberry but I can appreciate it.Strudle. Very thin layers, tasty but maybe too much powdered sugar for my preference.Overall - I liked the food enough that Id' be back and maybe try some other things on the menu. Standout for me on this meal though? Focaccia, tartare.“

“Small but busy restaurant in east village. Came on a Friday night and it didn’t get packed until 7:30pm ish. The food was an interesting mix of Korean and Spanish flavors. The cocktails were well made and delicious - highly recommend the pandan punch for a uniquely flavored drink. Order lots of small palates and share with a friend!“

“It's easy to put labels like fusion or new asian American it's different when you see and taste and feel what it all means, and that's what I found out in my first bite. It's either scallion pancake elevates into French pastry, or tartare acts like dumplings, something different but they also feel they should be together for a long time. It's a magical flavor.“

“I came here for dinner on a Thursday night, and it was a wonderful experience. Our waiter, Freddy, had a personal touch that transformed our dining experience into one of warmth and recognition, ensuring we felt exclusively attended to.The culinary highlight, among others, was the innovative ceviche, a mix of nicely tangy grapes and spicy peppers, as well as the creamykale risotto. These two dishes really captured the spirit of the restaurant's innovative and carefully crafted menu with a commitment to freshness, creativity, and harmony of flavors. The sommelier's role in enhancing the dining experience cannot be overstated. With a keen eye for unique and interesting wines, the sommelier had a perfect mix vintage and varietals selections. This place has an incredible selection of wine bottles, definitely recommend trying at least one during your visit.Definitely an exciting new restaurant in the city, and one that takes its food and wine selection seriously. Excellent work by the whole staff, will definitely visit again.“
“Very impressive. It’s great to see someone so young achieving his goals. Compared to other top restaurants in NYC, Gem is right up there.“

“this is a terrific spot for special gatherings. we had a graduation lunch there for six and asked to be seated outside to enjoy the full terrace experience. other graduates were seated inside which meant they had ac and louder music but still enjoyed the terrace like atmosphere but under full cover. can't go wrong with either choice but we really, really like to sit outside under the shade of course. nice breeze to offset a warmish 80 degree sunny day. service is fabulous. unhurried but once you place your order, the food amazingly arrives in less than 10 minutes even though the place was pretty much full. RH Rooftop is our go to place for al fresco dining in style. p.s. the bathrooms are private and very nice.“

“The ambiance is very cozy, full of life. The interior is simply yet elegantly decorated, with spacious outdoor seating under a floral canopy, creating a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere—there's always a crowd waiting, perfect for dates and small gatherings with friends and family. From 4:30-6:30, it's happy hour with $10 wines and $2.5 oysters.Boulettes ProvençalesThis dish perfectly combines beef meatballs, traditional Provençal vegetable stew (ratatouille), tomato sauce, and Parmesan cheese. The meatballs are plump and juicy, the rich tomato sauce is sweet and tangy, and the Parmesan adds a creamy texture and milky flavor, making it deliciously appealing.Foie Gras de Canard & ToastsFoie Gras de Canard served with a sweet and sour apple and pear chutney. The texture is rich and smooth, complementing the fruity chutney beautifully, creating a luxurious yet delicate flavor.Jarret D'AgneauThe choice lamb shank is slow-cooked until it's incredibly tender and falls off the bone! The mashed potatoes are soft, smooth, and creamy, a perfect complement to the lamb. The Portobello sauce adds a deep woody aroma and a subtle sweetness—truly a genuine European delicacy.“

“An honest 4 stars all the way around. The Lamb, cooked to nothing short of perfection, and it's pairings worked masterfully in complexity and flavour of the overall dish. The Pork Croquettes were phenomenal aswell, the pork had a wonderful flavour, and the touch of brine worked wonderfully with the mustard sauce. However desert was not as impressive, the carrot cake, while packed with potential, was overly sweet. Seemingly the carrot cake was sweet enough but then topped with an orange jam that destroyed the flavour profile, again do to the sweetness. I would have opted for a more subtle touch of citrus.Drinks were on point, and served in a timely manner, however the price of Henry McKenna was the highest I have ever seen, especially for a fairly easy to obtain bourbon. Our server, while timely, polite, and seemingly knowledgeable, did not mention specials, or check on the table after recieving our food. All things considered, I will definitely be back.“

“Good friend took me to this posh restaurant in the West Village~ I really enjoyed the lasagna~ I haven’t cooked this dish myself for a long time, and the flavor just reminded me of my old time:) The kale Caesar salad was very healthy and fresh. The lamb meatball was outstanding; I barely eat any meatballs, but I was happy I tried this one.Service was wonderful.Just one thing: During the busy hour around 7 PM, it was really noisy in the restaurant. I had to raise my voice a lot to speak with my friend ? But this is pretty normal for that time and the nature of the restaurant.Overall, I was in such a great mood to see my friend, nothing else matters.Recommend if you like Italian food!“

“We reserved a table here via Resy. It was pretty booked up far in advance, but I heard this place was good somewhere online. We loved ramen and Asian noodles so we were looking forward to this.We were bummed that our table was right next to the front door and the draft from people coming in and out of the front door was pretty chilly. We didn’t come super hungry and didn’t try any appetizers.I ordered the family Ranyum which our waiter said was his favorite. My boyfriend got the wagyu Ramyun.I loved the rich pork flavor of the family ramyun, lots of mushrooms, and the soy egg that I added was really tasty and unique.I tried the wagyu ramyun, it has a very strong beef flavor which my boyfriend liked a lot.We have not tried many ramyun dishes (mostly ramen and other Asian soups) but both the dishes we tried were some of the best noodles we’ve ever had.“

“I want to bathe in the Anchoiade...I'm not usually one to order pasta at a restaurant, but I was absolutely mindblown by the pasta anchoiade. Sensational sauce - salty, buttery, silky, the anchovy comes through but isn't too fishy. I could write a love letter to this dish (this review seems to already be turning into one).Pasta aside - I adore this restaurant. The paté, the citrus salad, the horseradish roast beef. I came here on a date and was simply lusting (over the food). Delightful!“

“High in the clouds atop the historic pine st building, Saga restaurant has one of the best views in the city. When we arrived up the elevator, we were greeted by the bar and served an aperitif treat from a selection of fruity or herbal flavors. We were then taken to our table. The menu is pretty straightforward with a couple of choices - we had a choice of entree (we chose the duck tagine which saga is famous for) and we could also add on a truffle risotto course. Our first bite was a foam topped abalone beautifully served in the shell. This was the followed by a bento box of fresh seafood and vegetable bites. The idea was a 'choose your own adventure' and combine the seafood on crackers, or lettuce leaves with sauces to your liking. We also had a foie gras dish, and a scallop pudding dish with caviar, bone marrow, and lobster in Singaporean chilli style, before the main event of the duck. Served family style, we had two large dishes of duck with vegetables and pancake style breads and sauces to make into wraps. I loved the interactivity but was slightly concerned I wouldn't have the best combination of flavors in every bite. The food was messy and needed a good wipe of my hands after! For dessert we enjoyed the ice cream and crumble. We also got the discovery wine pairing and every single pairing was spot on (which is rare for a long tasting menu).Great spot!“

“Came to Dig on Bleecker to find something healthy in a city full of unhealthy food, and boy did they deliver. Their menu also has a lot of vegan friendly ingredients and selections. Everything was freshly prepared, and was cooked to perfection. The staff were patient and friendly. We like this location in particular for some of their unique items. The cornbread is a must try! Once you’ve had enough of Joe’s pizza, I’d highly recommend you stop in when you’re in the neighborhood.“

“Had a wonderful brunch today at Hudson Clearwater. The smoothie was outstanding. This is a quaint rustic spot and deserves all the love for their vegan friendly menu. I chose the blackened fish sandwich and it did not disappoint. The Cole slaw on the brioche bun, lightly covered with tarter sauce, made for a perfect sandwich. Their fries were delectable as well. Great service, and a great meal with my sweetheart.“

“I DO NOT RECOMMEND. I have been going to Quatorze since the early 1990’s when Mark and Peter were on 79th St. I was thrilled when the restaurant recently moved to my corner at 82nd and 1st Ave. and have always enjoyed dining there. NEVER AGAIN. I just had the most awful in-person experience with a manager, Nino who was rude, dismissive and argumentative. And all I wanted to do was make a reservation. Nino is the complete antithesis of the way the staff at Quatorze treat customers. If this is the person who is now the face of this beloved neighborhood gem, then sadly I will not be back. And that’s a shame. I left a message asking to speak to the owner, Mark, but I guess having to speak to an actual loyal customer who is unhappy is beneath him. UPDATE: I received a call from the owner Mark, who questioned the veracity of my account. Do yourself a favor and steer clear - these are rude, arrogant people who think we’re all just dumb. And the food and service is average at best.“

“What a gem we just found! I made a reservation at Stake Frites last minute on a whim, and am so glad I did. At first we sat at a high table but the place is tight, even for NY standards, so I asked the hostess if we could sit at the bar, that was perfect. Juan, the bartender, was the best! He makes the best cocktails and was really nice. The whole staff is great! Food was good, though my husband’s steak chateaubriand wasn’t served rare as he requested. We’ll definitely be back and try other things on the menu. My only complaint would be the very tight space but I heard they may be expanding so that might change.“

“I can’t believe I’ve lived in Harlem for this long and only just now visited this restaurant. The food was absolutely amazing, and the service was fantastic (shoutout to Filip). I’m always hesitant ordering lamb dishes at restaurants because of how often they get them wrong, but I’m so glad I ended up ordering it. Perfectly fork tender, and the sauce it was served in was divine“

“After returning from Georgia I've been dreaming of returning. Chama Mama lets my stomach visit without buying a plane ticket. Most impressive was the Mushroom Mtsvadi skewers basted with a tarragon Tkemali--a Georgian sauce made from sour plums, herbs, and spices. Exquisite. But less so was the Adjapsandali (roasted vegetable ragout) and beets with farmers cheese which were a bit underwhelming.“

“Dining at WEST10WEST was an absolute TREAT!! They’ve really nailed the curation of a cozy, inviting atmosphere, coupled with staff who are passionate about the food & drink (and will kindly provide detailed descriptions to all our questions)! And of course, the dishes were not only beautiful to look at, but also delicious and had such dynamic flavors. The spring ceviche’s red snapper tasted so fresh, and our table could not stop drinking up the citrusy « soup ». The eggplant was super hearty, with the gochujang flavor perfectly balancing out the bite. Also, the beet gnocchi was a 10/10. Chef Barbara coming out to greet us with the food was the extra cherry on top.I went with a group of girlfriends but this restaurant would be perfect for so many other occasions — date night, family dinner, bringing in out of town guests, intimate birthday celebrations, or simply catching up with friends over a glass of Metamorphika (which was divineee).I’m excited to return to try several other dishes — based on the pictures of the food & how I’ve described the space to friends, they’ll need little convincing. ?Huge shoutout to this team that has managed to inject so much life & personality into a small space within the West Village!“

“Mussette in Harlem is a wine bar that truly understands the art of hospitality. From the moment I stepped in, the customer service was stellar—attentive without being overbearing. The Women’s History wine flight they offer is not just unique but also a testament to their commitment to inclusivity and celebration of diversity in the wine world. And let's talk about their charcuterie boards—absolutely sublime! The selection of cheeses, dried fruit and nuts paired perfectly with the wines we chose. But what truly sets Mussette apart is the warmth and genuine passion of the staff. They made our evening unforgettable, offering insights and recommendations that enhanced our experience. If you're in Harlem and looking for a cozy spot with exceptional wine and hospitality, Mussette is the place to be.“

“I highly recommend dining at Jazba for an exceptional culinary experience. My husband and I went there for dinner with our friends. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by warm and welcoming staff. We were served by Mamta who was very knowledgeable about the menu and went above and beyond to ensure we had a great dining experience. We really liked their selection of cocktails. We tried Peepli, Kokum, Paan and Panch Phoran. All the drinks were great but I personally liked Peepli the best. It had a nice tangy flavor that went well with the alcohol. We ordered Basket Chaat and Empire Fried Chicken for appetizers and for main course we got Atrai Panneer, Daal Makhni, and Green Chilli Chicken along with their unique bread selection (appam, lacha parantha and roomali roti). The food was absolutely delicious and the presentation of each dish was impeccable. The beautiful utensils added a nice touch of elegance (see pictures I have added). Overall, it was a memorable dining experience and we will definitely visit again.“
