“Another NYC Chinese restaurant experience from 2023-2024 and I came to the conclusion for the post-Covid era: decent food quality, unique cuisine family (somehow we chose Beijing cuisine), comparable ratings (cannot decide which one is better), and at much higher price.“

“It’s a great place for a quick grab and go or even just sit down and eat. Very casual you order first then find your seating. We got shu mai which was delicious, spicy mushroom dumping was not my favorite but my partner loved it, Shanghai pork dumplings were juicy, the BBQ pork roast was absolutely diviiiine a must try and the spicy cucumbers was just a nice refresher on top of everything. My partner and I were not disappointed!“

“Very casual dim sum joint in Times Sq area. Order items on screen and then it will be delivered to your table. Super casual, fastbut clean. No real plates which is a minus. Enjoyed the little soup dumplings, bok choy and shrimp rice roll. Really liked the water cress dumplings too. Very tasty dim sum if you are in a rush and looking for something in the Times Sq area.“

“Excellent stop for traditional hot pot or sushi! For $40 we had unlimited sushi and hot pot selections. The servers were very helpful, and the quality of everything was excellent. I’ve had hot pot style meals in Japan and this was just as good!“

“I gave this an energetic for noise because we were making all the noise. Good time had by group of long time friends enjoying an amazing dim sum lunch. Service was friendly, food was above average, menu was a bit smaller than most Chinatown dim sum menus but no one was lacking for something to eat. A delicious fun time had by all. We will be back.“

“If you want to sit in a very crowded place, this is the place to go. The food was fine. They messed up our order and acted like they were upset that we said anything but the food is good.“

“This is old Chinatown! No frills lunch counter, cash only, delicious food. Came here for a Sunday comedy show which was great. During the week this is a regular breakfast and lunch counter where OG neighborhood folk come for authentic, cheap quick bites. They are embracing these special events now too to keep up with rising rents. The sauteed cauliflower and the salted chicken were so incredibly delicious. The congee was extra tasty. Bao and dumplings were so good too. I need to come back again. Hope Mee Sum stays for a long time“

“food wise, everything is p affordable and avg here. outside of bbq, their other dishes on the menu can be a bit more expensive than the avg in this neighborhood tho. skins on bbq a bit soggy, altho they do heat it up for u at leastStaff are rly generous abt giving extra sauces if youre dining in and they follow good practices in g. I often see homeless ppl sleep in their shed/large outdoor seating area overnight and in the mornings even as they’re setting it up for opening“

“I used to eat here when it was under a different name. After the recent renovation, I decided to try it again. The food, mostly mid-southern Chinese food from Zhejiang/Shanghai, was authentic and tasted good. One exception was the hot and sour soup, too salty. Service was good. New setting/decor is modern and trendy.“

“Excellent option in Chinatown to try some of the most emblematic dishes of this cuisine, it is delicious, very fresh, good service and the price-quality ratio is very good. We tried the duck, shrimp fried rice, fried dumplings and the chicken in sweet and sour sauce and everything was delicious.“

“We all came here because this place is NYC Chinatown First Dim Sum since 1920 . Inside the restaurant look cozy and feel like home . The food is good in the traditional way because the portions are big not like other dimsum place their portions smaller which i prefer so you can try different dishes. They bring you your order in the old way not people push cart around . That’s the difference, but im happy that i tried this place.“
