“Coming from Minnesota, I've only heard about David Chang's restaurants. I had the Garlic Chicken Ramen and my wife had the Asparagus special of the day. Both were excellent in both taste and presentation. Well worth the trip and surprisingly affordable.“

“My husband took me here for my birthday, initially, I wasn't happy at all because I wanted something sinful for dessert, and Thai restaurants aren't really known for this, but WOW! The food made up for that. I ended up with two main courses because I couldn't decide ?one being the crab fried rice YUM.My only complaint is the entry area being so small there's no place to wait especially if it is bad weather outside( it was pouring) and beware if you are a first-time customer you cannot sit at the bar while you wait to be seated, if you do you will be asked to move, and not very politely either? I will still go again and recommend this spot for Delicious food“

“We reserved a table here via Resy. It was pretty booked up far in advance, but I heard this place was good somewhere online. We loved ramen and Asian noodles so we were looking forward to this.We were bummed that our table was right next to the front door and the draft from people coming in and out of the front door was pretty chilly. We didn’t come super hungry and didn’t try any appetizers.I ordered the family Ranyum which our waiter said was his favorite. My boyfriend got the wagyu Ramyun.I loved the rich pork flavor of the family ramyun, lots of mushrooms, and the soy egg that I added was really tasty and unique.I tried the wagyu ramyun, it has a very strong beef flavor which my boyfriend liked a lot.We have not tried many ramyun dishes (mostly ramen and other Asian soups) but both the dishes we tried were some of the best noodles we’ve ever had.“

“This place originated from humble beginnings as a small struggling food cart. Their food is legendary among the locals and did well enough for them to eventually open this store. On to the food - still as good as I remembered from my youth. I love to order a mix of beef tripe with rice noodles. Delicious and will definitely go again.“

“The staff was friendly and it was nice to be able to taste the same Ichiran ramen I had in Osaka. If you set the spiciness level to level 8, it's about as spicy as Shin Ramyun, but eating bone broth with spicy seasoning and rice felt like eating sundae soup haha. It's expensive, but it's worth a visit at least once during your trip.“

“Generally I give the total five star to this restaurant considering its flavor, service and environment. The steamed pot chicken soup is super good I will definitely choose this every time, on top of that I like sugar cake and highly recommend it. Besides, tomato beef soup, Dai style stir fried beef are also nice to try.“

“Great prices for delicious food. I see why Guy Fieri has come here three times. The noodles are perfectly imperfect and the flavors are spot on. The only questionable thing about the place is that the duck is served bone-in which brought down my wife's enjoyment of her dish“

“At this point in time simply the best tempura this side of Tokyo. Sweet, crisp, with a snap. Once Nippon lost Eugie the premier tempura chef many decades ago, I have searched for superior tempura and this is the place. Highly recommended.“

“Last week two coworkers and I got food in Chinatown. It was a cost effective and we decided to do it again. Basically I was like “Jess do you wanna get dinner” and Qais was like ?☝️ ?? and I was like TieOneKneesPorkchopHouse? I’m down. This is called Taiwan PORK CHOP House so you can guess what I ordered. That’s right, Thai Sausage with rice. The food here is good and makes up for the fact that the best conversation you can make is “what were you like 10 years ago.” And when you’re full, your friends will make you taste the Taro ice thing, which is, in their words, “goop.”4/5: Decent spot to check out for $10-15“

“The food was delicious!!!! A friend told me that it would be very spicy, but I didn’t find it to be so. (Definitely had a zip to it but not too extreme) Service was attentive and pleasant. The only downside was the seating. The chairs were more like elementary school short stools. Quite uncomfortable, but I’d definitely go back just for the food!“

“Came in last night around 7:30pm. The girl taking my order seem like she didn’t want to be there and not the friendliest. I was a bit intimated and shy to order more as she seemed annoyed the more the I ordered. The girl bringing my food out was lovely! Made sure I was satisfied with my food, and named every dish as it came out & overall very upbeat. I didn’t grab her name but she & beef noodle made my experience lovely!!“

“The ramen was exceptionally tasty, brimming with noodles and an array of condiments. The shrimp tempura hand roll was incredible, and the jelly shot was otherworldly and absolutely delightful! The fried squid, undeniably one of my favorite appetizers, was superb, and the dumplings were equally enjoyable. I certainly ordered more than I could handle, but every bite was utterly delicious!Wheelchair accessibility: The restaurant is accessible without the need to climb stairs.“

“Went during a quieter Saturday when about 50-60% of the tables were full. Tonkatsu taken broth was rich and creamy, noodles were chewy, and the salmon ikura bowl was refreshing.Easy service, clean bathroom, simple and well put together dining area.Only note is that ramen's noodle to broth ratio could use more broth.“

“I gave this place five stars for one reason only: I wanted the people to read my review. If I gave one star, the review would be pushed back to the end. My review... Worst food we ever had in our lives!! Bland and expensive. It came with none of the toppings we ordered!! Tasteless and dry. I suspect the food was kept in the heat for most of the day. STAY AWAY FROM THIS S...HOLE!!!! It should be reported and closed. I can only imagine the unsanitary conditions of the place. Restaurants that do not care about the quality of their products do not care about hygiene.“

“One of my favorite spots on the Upper East Side!! Food is always flavorful and comes out fast. The Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand-Ripped Noodles are to die for, and the Stewed Pork Hand-Ripped Noodles are scrumptious. I love the Spicy & Sour Pork Dumplings (perfect texture!) and the Chang'An Spicy Tofu Custard is great for less than five bucks! I order everything "extra Spicy" and it does the job!Vegetarian options: You can get Noodles without meat!“

“I had lunch at this Asian bowl spot. The decor is nice and simple, modern looking. The counter is well layed out with each step explained. There are a lot of options from salad bowls, to rice bowls, and noodle bowls. There's also a good variety of base sauce options. I ordered the flat noodles with tomato egg sauce. I also got the chili oil as a garnish which added some kick to the dish. The service was fast and great, prices were reasonable. Food tasted good overall.“
