“Chef was amazing and but the experience was tainted by them having us wait to be seated essentially outside (not sure why others at same counter were seated before us or why there is no designated space - and we were right on time not super early?) and by them pushing us at tad excessively at end and more importantly asking another patron to relinquish the pen they used to sign the bill. Seriously? A 500$ baseline price for food alone and you can’t let the guy just take the pen?“

“What a delightful surprise! We went for dinner and the food totally surpassed our pretty high expectations! We had the mushroom bolognese - OMG!!!! Out of this world good! Strongly recommended. ( of course, very nice decor, great people, BUT THE FOOD- simply fantastic!!!)“

“I've never had whiskey before, because my mother always said it was an undignified drink for women. At the risk of appearing unladylike, I stumbled into The Hamilton with the intention of trying whiskey for the first time. As I was internally battling with my mother's judgement, a kind bartender named Ross noticed me looking troubled. He could tell immediately what my predicament was. I was surprised how intuitive he was. He assured me that women drink whiskey all the time, and it's completely normal. Ross allowed me to sample a few different kinds of whiskey, and I really loved how it made me feel! I'll admit, I did feel slightly more boisterous after consuming the samples, but Ross assured me that it was okay to express myself! At the end of the sampling, he fixed me an elegant cocktail, and I was again reminded of my feminine demeanor. I loved being able to let loose while sipping a delicate cocktail. Who says women can't drink whiskey??? THIS woman can and WILL! Thank you Ross.“

“If you're trying to decide between the smash burger and the patty melt, the burger is at least 100x better. The Brussels were good but they get soggy quick because they're sitting in sauce.Overall the food here is okay for American fare.Kinda fratty vibes in the bar, but if you're at a table it's a completely different atmosphere.“

“Passing by we noticed the lovely holiday decorations (which were even nicer inside). Made a reservation for dinner and arrived early for a drink at the bar. The whole experience was great - friendly service, great cocktails (amazing selection of Bourbon), good food and all in a cozy atmosphere. Would definitely return if in NY again and would certainly recommend! Thanks for a wonderful dinner on our last night in the city!“

“Came here early morning for an Everton match. We’re both vegan and they did us beans on toast which wasn’t on the menu, cleaned all the grill down and made sure we had something suitable to eat. Great service and a great atmosphere for the match. Thank you ☺️“

“Went here to meet a friend- it was very loud when we arrived but that died down after the few loud people left. The food was meh. We ordered a quesadilla and it was heaping with cheese. The drinks were good though, and overall a nice place.“

Free pool table for customers.The scene at the pool table was really nice, with short wait times, skilled players who were pleasant and mature, and good available cues.This place is a lovely oasis of calm in a crowded city.“
