The vibe is very hole-in-the-wall, with a welcoming home-y atmosphere.I asked for very spicy, and the chef brought out a whole assortment of spicy condiments for me! Totaled to 21.50, would come again.“

“Pleasant Thai spot discovery in Jackson Heights/Elmhurst. The surrounding area was pretty quiet, so it was fascinating to see so many people gathered in here. I get it though, the dimly lit interior with lamps is bound to allure crowds. There was an option for Small or Large for drinks. Their large Lychee Thai Iced Tea ($12) was gigantic, which worked out perfectly for us sharing. I ordered the Crispy Catfish Salad ($17), and I wish I didn't choose it as I was catfished into thinking there was fish, but it was mainly crispy skin with bits of meat. The mango base salad though, was worth getting. I've seen mango salad in Thai restaurants before but never ordered, so I'm happy I got to try such a tropical flavorful and savory dish with a slight spicy kick. They allow adjusting of spice level too! Restaurants that allow us to stay long when it's not busy is always respected in my book. Jackson Heights continues to have some of the best food in NYC, and stores like Ayada Thai is the reason why.“

“Pata Paean is well known for having the most delicious boat noodle in NYC!!! Let's me tell you all, it is deserved its reputation. The tastes is very original, The moment that I sipped the broth from Numtok noodles (boat noodles), I felt like it already took me to Thailand. Not only that Tomyum noodle soup also other favorite one. I can't have enough those noodles. Also the service is in timely manner. All worker there are very friendly and attentive. I always love the music that they played as a background. Also the decoration represent the noodle shop in Thailand.10 out 10!!!!Recommend to all who love Thai's food and noodle. Also I recommend order the small bowl of boat noodles to experience more authentic version of boat noodles because in Thailand bowl noodles usually served in small bowl. Don't worry you can order more and more of course. I always order like 3 bowl. Very delicious, and wonderful dining experience.“

“Came here for a dinner withy partner. I have to say the staff is super professional and kind. The food came out quickly. I had the Crispy Sea Bass, which was so refreshing and light, feels like a perfect summer dish. My partner got the Fired Porkbelly with basil. It was perfectly crunchy and such a comforting dish. We also shared some apps, the Curry puff and Rice cakes, both were delicious, but I think the curry puff was my personal favorite. We ended our time here with the sizzling thai tea roti , and sheeeesh it was delicious, so aromatic, the Thai tea ice cream is so well balanced.“

“I have found my FAVORITE spot for Tom Yum Noodle Soup. They offer minced pork or seafood as choice of protein both priced at $15. The serving size is a bit smaller than what you’d get from spots in Elmhurst BUT this place packs a punch in terms of flavor. Their Tom Yum is creamy from coconut milk and finished off with a fresh squeeze of lime. Our server, May, was such a gem - she’s the only one working the front of the store and she juggles take out orders AND waits on all the tables. She gave great recommendations and was honest on ones she haven’t tried before, so was hesitant on recommending.I’ve also had their Gai Yang (grilled chicken)- which fyi, if you come later in the day they might not have the whole chicken and only the half. One thing I was missing from that is an order of papaya salad - which they unfortunately do not serve at this location.Seating can be a bit tight, so I’d recommend coming in on their off peak hours!“

“Okay look, I really like this place, but they are absolutely ridiculously bad at pickup orders. I just ordered Kway Tow Kake Chicken, I walked there and didn't get my food until *an hour* after I had ordered. When they finally remembered me, the receipt said "Curry Noodle Chicken" (okay, maybe just a different name), but what I got was definitely just Pad Thai. Like a completely different dish. This is the second time in a row I've gone there to pick up food where it honestly seemed like they lost my order until I got there.Go to this place, sit out back, enjoy the food, but if you live nearby and want take-out, maybe just call the restaurant, because they seem to have some communication problems with the app they tell you to use.“

“We were in the mood for some good drunken noodles. My wife found this place through Muslim foodie review. The ambiance, and atmosphere of the restaurant are pretty decent. We had a friendly young lady who approached us as soon as we entered the place. We knew what we wanted- drunken noodles and fried fish with papaya salad. However, our server told us the fried fish may take a minimum of 15-20 minutes to cook, with two kids with us, we didn't want to wait that long, so I ended up ordering the orange chicken. Both of our dishes were good and flavorful. Their price is also relatively reasonable. I also like the fact that they designated a small space for prayer. I would recommend this place.“

“This place is an actual hole in the wall. But it is rated A, which is what I look for when eating somewhere. It doesn't look like much from the inside or outside, but they have a bathroom thats usable. They prefer cash over credit cards, especially for tip. It looks like a store and a restaurant when you walk inside. There are tables and chairs to sit inside and dine, but not for large groups. There is no need to make reservations. I didn't know what to order, so I decided to go by pictures and signs. I got the Tomyum noodle soup and the Haiensese chicken with rice. Both are large portions, and the price for both was so cheap. “My grandma and I always go here and get pad Thai with mock duck. The food is heavenly! Anything good you could say about the food is true! The duck is crispy on the outside and buttery melt-in-your-mouth on the inside, and the flavor of the sauce is just incredible! The glass noodles are light and have a perfect texture. The regular noodles are filling and also perfect. Oh- and the peanut sauce that comes with the salad is the best peanut sauce you could ever imagine! It’s so addicting, and has a tad kick to it (I think you can only get that at lunch though). My grandma and I only ate there in person a couple times, but the service was great, considering how crowded the restaurant always is (I think the fact that it’s always stuffed to the brim is a sign of a good restaurant :). They had good vibes and a really chill aesthetic. We always get the food delivered, and it comes in a really short amount of time. My grandma also loves this food; we get food that’s not spicy, because we are both sensitive to spice (but if you like spice, they have dishes with that too). I wanted to think of something I didn’t like here, but I can’t! All in all, eat here!! (Also, hack for more duck; when asking for extra mock duck, ask for it in a separate container; that way you can see just how much you’re getting, and they can’t skimp! The logic behind this is when there’s an already full container full of food, you can’t add that much more duck; so when you have a separate container, they can fill it all the way up!)“

My friends all had shrimp rice and/or noodle dishes and they raved about the portion sizes and pineapple added. Do not get the spicy it's inedible unless ghost peppers are your go to. Khao Man Gai

“Just dropped by for the first time (embarrassingly) after a coworker recommendation, one of those places I've walked by 100 times and somehow never stopped it. And now it's going to be a regular in the rotation!I got their grilled chicken set (#2) and it was delicious - the chicken itself was amazingly well marinated and flavorful, the rice cooked perfectly to join with it - and man their sweet/mildly-spicy thai sauce they give you to go with it is pure heaven. The soup they give is very mild but pleasant. Their serving system felt slightly chaotic for a newbie, but it worked perfectly well, the woman working had a perfect memory and nailed people in order.Highly recommend!“

“Chachawan was a great experience. We started with the chicken satay, fried dumplings, the Rose Rangoon, and the Tom Kha soup. It was extremely flavorful and delicious, the portion sizes for each appetizer was also such a great plus because once we got our meals it was the perfect amount to start with. The Lychee ice tea was also amazing and the Thai iced coffee as well was the perfect pick me up because it wasn't so sweet and the coffee flavor was superb. Our main dishes were the chicken Pad Thai and my husband got the Kao Kra Pao Nuar and OMG delicious! the steak was a perfect medium rare and the rice and runny egg were delicious. The Pad Thai was so flavorful my daughter was excited to eat what she called "spaghetti." The dessert was also 10/10 the mango sticky rice was OMG perfect not too sweet but the mango was sooo good. Overall, it was an amazing experience the waitress was so nice and explained everything thoroughly. I recommend anyone looking for delicious Thai food to check this place out! Thanks again for such great hospitality.“

“This place is just around the corner from where I live and we decided to try it. The place is very quiet, not too busy yet because this is new. We ordered like 6-7 types of dishes and we almost finish everything! The food tastes really good! The place is clean and the service is fast. I will recommend this place to everyone I know.“

“We always order from them when it comes to Thai food. We have a couple near us but always come back to our fav. I recently tried their Thai sausage fried rice and I've become obsessed. Honestly we have always enjoyed whatever we order and at least order once a week.“
