“We stopped here by happenstance and I am so glad we did! It was a quiet and friendly little location that was very clean and well kept. Nice music playing and fast service. The server was very attentive and kept our drinks full and make sure we had what we needed. The food is so good. I got the fried rice with chicken and veggies and it was very flavorful. My husband got the hunan chicken and it was moderately spicy and he said it was very tasty. Would absolutely get again and go again. If you can’t make it in just order the takeout. You won’t be disappointed. We also got edamame and fried dumplings and they were the best fried dumplings cooked perfectly crispy. The portions are considerable so we have food for at home later as well. Ample parking in this shopping center. We are very pleased we found this place and we will absolutely be back.Dietary restrictions: They have lighter fare options on the menuWheelchair accessibility: Ramp leading up to and smooth sidewalk“

“More people really need to frequent this restaraunt. I always have the large noodle dish but I switch udon for ramen noodles. The portions are so large that I order more of their amazing Shoyu broth to go and have it with my leftover noodles the next day! Amazing!“

“Its rare that I give 5 stars as I believe in honesty and I do have high standards (at least for myself). This place deserves it. It is not inexpensive, but it is very much worth it. Portions are very large, food is authentic (i would say 90% there as I lived and worked in Malaysia and Sg for many years) and the service is excellent. The atmosphere is also really nice (it is small though). We had the following: Dry Wonton Noodle, Nasi Lemak (chicken), Curry Yong Tau Foo, and Kaya Toast. It was all fantastic and the noodles were my favorite. Kudos to the chef and the staff.“

“Great service as a first timer and newbie to this cuisine. I ordered the Lankan Mojito while I waited for my to go order. I got egg lumprais and the flavor is amazing. They took the time to explain what every item was in the dish and made it fresh when I ordered it.“

“I love japanese sandos, Okatsu Katsu is located in the H-mart food court and has a great selection of them. They also have a different variety of menu items, so if you aren't feeling a sando they also have regular katsu, curry, and etc. Each sando comes with a part of a fruit sando so thats definitely a plus! We usually just order the sandos, but the day we went it was cold outside so we opted in for the curry side sauce and it definitely hit the spot. Will definitely be back!“

“We got the restaurant a little late as they were starting to close. When the owners saw us walk in he immediately seated us and told us to take our time looking at the menu. Super friendly. We ended ordering 6 dishes which they were brought out to us super fast. All the food we had hit the spot!!! My favorite was the pad Thai and raw larb! Will we be coming back to this restaurant? Definitely!!!! 1000% Food- A+ Service-A+ Quality-A+ Friendliness- A+“

“That was fantastic. The sushi was incredible. Wonderful greeting when I entered. The staff was incredibly welcoming. Walking to my seat at the sushi bar. I looked at the sushi and it looked fabulous. I was quite surprised. I don’t know why. But I grew up in Hawaii and that’s my standard. And this was quite impressive. I will definitely definitely be back to this place quite a bit.“

“A fine Asian dining experience near I35 and 121 business! I told them medium spicy and they delivered! Delicious! When I eat at Panda I need to eat the black peppers to get a sufficient level of spicy. This place, not so. This place is 1000% better than Panda. A slightly humble atmosphere but quiet and clean. I loved it! My new favorite!“

“This will be our new weekly spot! Garlic noodles with shaken beef were amazing. My husband had the Chicken Pad Thai and he said it’s the best he’s ever had! The Caramel milk tea with boba was very yummy too. Can’t wait to try more things from the menu here!“

“So I, like you, am a bit of a Chinese Takeout connoisseur lol. You spend like 40 minutes researching photos, reviews, googling what it should look like.. yeah, I know. And it's always that hesitation because you dont want to get swindled by the restaurant. Lack of portion, soupy when it shouldn't be, roach in the food, nasty nasty stuff. I'm telling you, do not hesitate to go ahead and order from Open Rice Asian Bistro. They don't serve Peking duck here, or Ants on a Tree, so dont expect authenticity. BUT as far as Chinese American takeout, this place is better than most. The food was fresh and done before the ETA. We got the "Family Dinner" Deal which we chose Generel Tso chicken, Mongolian beef, 2 soups (their hot and sour soup is definitely a must try) we got that and egg drop soup, 2 egg roll. In addition, I got an order of crab rangoon, 2 more eggrolls, steam chicken dumplings. All for $47 with tip?? Yall.. for 3 people, the portions looked small initially, but they PACK IT! Chicken.. Juicy, egg rolls.. flavorful and with texture, sauces.. thicc but not too laden. Portions.. packed. Yall.. We ate like KINGS. Everything was FIRE! If you got to this part, you're wasting your time. ORDER NOW! What are you doing? There's plenty of other pictures in the other reviews, and yeah.. it looked just like them. Open Rice.. Open NICE“

“The grilled beef vermicelli bowl was okay. The noodles, cucumbers, and carrots were good but the taste and texture of the beef was not. I would try the vermicelli bowl again but with shrimp. The people were nice and friendly. The grilled shrimp vermicelli is 5 stars for me.“

“I’ll be back but rarely do you get a solid 5. :) 4.5 easy. Greta hot fresh food and slow on a Saturday night. Naan is great. Clean place and attentive staff. Neighborhood atmosphere. I ordered the cauliflower/potato dish forgot the name. Just spicy enough. Although they did charge me for the naan even tho it was supposed to come with it I let it go because of the military discount.“

“Freaking amazing!!! I've never paid attention to this place before but now it's one of my favorites. Everything was fresh and flavorful. I've never had a scallion pancake but it's my favorite. The restaurant is intimate but clean and has a steady flow of people. The staff was on time with my order and very friendly. I will definitely be back.“

“Most Recent Update: I went to this place again because of an increase in positive reviews recently. I bought the beef samosa. It was really good and I did not get sick this time. I loved the taste, so delicious.Former review:I loved the taste of the samosas but I found small white hair-like fibers in the samosa filling. I ordered the tikka masala as well and it had a similar fiber. It was also really bland. I ended up throwing it out. I got tired of throwing out this samosa and hoping the next one would be clean. I'm giving it two stars because the samosa did have a good flavor.Update: I'm changing my rating to one star. After eating a descent portion of this food I woke up at 6 the next day (on a day when I didn't have to be up by then) and found my stomach in knots. Long story short food poisoning and all its uncomfortableness.“

“This is a gem of a place. There isn’t enough nice things I can say about it. It’s a hole in the wall type of place - not much seating available. The food makes up for it. So even if you can’t have a nice sit down meal when it’s busy, order carry out. You will not be disappointed. I have tried a number of the things on the menu and I am a happy camper. I can’t say there’s anything I don’t like. It’s the first Thai place I found when I moved here from NY. And it remains one of my favorite places. They have quick service now - during COVID, it was rough. I don’t want to say too many nice things because I want to be able to have my mother - son sit down dinner every month just like when I was pregnant with him!“
