“What can I say? I was a customer first & foremost, and occasionally you'll find me behind the bar! The vibe, IMHO, is unpretentious. On any given day you'll see someone grubbed up in work clothes, some in their office clothes, some dressed for a night on the town, and anywhere in between. You can bring in your food - AND your dog (make sure to get their pic taken for the 'Woof Wall'!); play cornhole or other board, card, or pub games; listen to or dance along with live music; play trivia (Thursdays); watch 'the game' on any of the 3 TV's; etc... There is a selection of beer & cider on tap, more ciders, seltzers, soda, and beer in cans, and even quite a selection of wines to choose from - either by glass or by bottle. A couple times a month there'll be special events: wine tastings, crafting events, night markets, etc. You can sit in the sun (or inside away from it!), watch the sunset, and even catch a glimpse of water-life! It's a place my friends & I frequent, and it's a place I would tell you to bring your friends also! It may not be "CHEERS" - we may not know everyone's name - but Hal & Ronda and the Haase brood (and myself!) will do our best to make your visit a good one!!“

“Java and Clay cafe has been my go to place for self care for over ten years. I enjoy going to hang out and make fun new creations. There’s always something fun to make for myself or as a gift for someone. My husband and I sat an painted a bowl for 8 hours and we didn’t need to go far for nourishment with their cafe being attached. The view of the water adds an extra special touch to this fun destination that is always a joy!“

“Friend from work recc'd this place. On a bike ride i made a point to stop here. OMG! It's all amazing. Delicious flaky croissants. The bread on my sammy was soft and perfect. The pesto paste - i wanted more. Seriously!!! If you are in or near Gig Harbour make a point to stop here. Or just go for a day drive ans stop here. Call out from work and spend an afternoon her. Amazing views. Wonderful people.“

I used to work at a restaurant that had gourmet burgers, but they have strayed away from being true gourmet burgers.The Gourmet Burger Shop did not disappoint. I had the Pastrami and Swiss burger that had ample amount of pastrami on a burger with Swiss cheese, slaw and Russian dressing, it was out of this world!!!Gig Harbor is a wonderful place to visit and a stop at this little restaurant will help make your visit that much more memorable“

“Beautiful brewery located right on the water in Gig Harbor. They have indoor and outdoor seating (with fire pits). On a clear day, you can see Rainier! Good beer selection (a lot of IPAs). There is also a Millville Pizza Co. food truck available. Parking can be limited on a weekend or busy days so plan accordingly!“

“I just love GRAND!!! The team is energetic and helpful and so patient whenever I can't decide what to order. They are all super knowledgable and the owner is well connected with the community which is great to see. Definitely give GRAND a try if you haven't already!“
