“We had a date night here and were absolutely impressed. The Beecher’s grilled cheese and butternut squash soup was a stand out. Both of our pasta entrees were phenomenal as well. The star of the show, though, was our dessert, which was a deconstructed PB&J. I don’t think I’ve ever had something that had such a wide variety of complementary textures. It was amazing and flavorful.”

“The food is great overall. Items tried were the seasonal kusshi oysters, dungeoness crab BLAT, smoked salmon avocado toast, and of course some cocktails. (Ginger pineapple and spicy Bloody Mary). The only things that in my opinion were not up to par was the dungeoness crab BLAT and the Bloody Mary. I am a traditionalist when it comes to dungeoness crab and believe that less can be more. This was a mix of crab, aioli, panko, and other seasonings which deterred from the natural delicacy of the crabmeat. It is a way to reduce the cost of the sandwich so I can understand the premise but I believe if it costed more and had more crab that was not smothered in other seasonings it would definitely be worth it. The Bloody Mary is probably 3/5 no thought really into the mix. Just kind of tomato juice tasting and even the help of the pepper vodka to spruce it up couldn't take me there. NOW for the good stuff. The oysters were some of the best in my life! Excellent pairings and worth every penny. Petit oysters are so bursting with flavor. I cannot even begin to describe how pleased I was with these. The avocado toast is what I had for brunch while visiting the establishment about 3 years ago and HAD to retry again. It has been changed from being served on a larger piece of bread to four small pieces but the elements are all the same and still delicious but I would be amiss if I did not mention I miss the old way of how it was served. I cannot wait to return”

“My friend and I went there today for a belated birthday lunch for me. Our first time there. We sat on the deck. Beautiful view. Our server Joan was excellent. She checked back with us often. The food was outstanding. We shared Insalata Gamberetti, which was so delicious. We also shared Capellini Positano, which also was delicious. We were so full, but did have a free birthday serving of Spumoni. It was the best I've had. Unfortunately I didn't get pictures of our food. The prices there were so reasonable. Eating out has become so expensive. I was pleasantly surprised that we could have an excellent view, excellent food and excellent attentive server Joan. It was perfect , I would highly recommend.”

“I was part of a group of 7 people at 1030am on a Saturday. Parking is unfortunately not ideal..The wait for a large table in the smaller sized dining room was reasonable, especially since the weather was not outdoor seating worthy. It was really busy. Once seated, water and drink orders were immediate. After we ordered food it came out fast and everyone got their food at the same time, it was all fresh and the right temperature and nothing was missing. Absolutely glorious service. I had the DKC Bisq-wich. WOW, so delicious. The fried potatoes were fine. I personally would like them a little crispy, but they had good flavor.”

“On 5/16/24, I visited Kimball Coffeehouse in Gig Harbor, Washington. This coffeehouse has a great history, which I’ve included a link to in the comments. Kimball Coffeehouse has live music on the weekends. The evening I arrived, they were setting up for Open Mic Night. They roast their own coffee beans. They have an extensive menu that includes Breakfasts, Smoothies, Sandwiches, Flatbread Pizzas, Salads, Soups, Snacks, and Desserts.I ordered a Spring coffee drink called Bees Knees, which is a Lavender & Honey Latte. The flavor combination was a bit too subtle for me, but it was good. Next time, I will try something else. The woman sitting next to me ordered a BLT, which looked excellent!One of the things I really like about Kimball Coffeehouse is they seem to have a lot of regulars. Coffee shops like that are hard to find. I look forward to visiting Kimball Coffeehouse the next time I’m in town.…Highly Recommended!!!”

“What can I say? I was a customer first & foremost, and occasionally you'll find me behind the bar! The vibe, IMHO, is unpretentious. On any given day you'll see someone grubbed up in work clothes, some in their office clothes, some dressed for a night on the town, and anywhere in between. You can bring in your food - AND your dog (make sure to get their pic taken for the 'Woof Wall'!); play cornhole or other board, card, or pub games; listen to or dance along with live music; play trivia (Thursdays); watch 'the game' on any of the 3 TV's; etc... There is a selection of beer & cider on tap, more ciders, seltzers, soda, and beer in cans, and even quite a selection of wines to choose from - either by glass or by bottle. A couple times a month there'll be special events: wine tastings, crafting events, night markets, etc. You can sit in the sun (or inside away from it!), watch the sunset, and even catch a glimpse of water-life! It's a place my friends & I frequent, and it's a place I would tell you to bring your friends also! It may not be "CHEERS" - we may not know everyone's name - but Hal & Ronda and the Haase brood (and myself!) will do our best to make your visit a good one!!”

The pesto paste - i wanted more. Seriously!!! If you are in or near Gig Harbour make a point to stop here. Or just go for a day drive ans stop here. Call out from work and spend an afternoon her. There’s always something fun to make for myself or as a gift for someone. My husband and I sat an painted a bowl for 8 hours and we didn’t need to go far for nourishment with their cafe being attached. The view of the water adds an extra special touch to this fun destination that is always a joy!”

I used to work at a restaurant that had gourmet burgers, but they have strayed away from being true gourmet burgers.The Gourmet Burger Shop did not disappoint. I had the Pastrami and Swiss burger that had ample amount of pastrami on a burger with Swiss cheese, slaw and Russian dressing, it was out of this world!!!Gig Harbor is a wonderful place to visit and a stop at this little restaurant will help make your visit that much more memorable”

“Beautiful brewery located right on the water in Gig Harbor. They have indoor and outdoor seating (with fire pits). On a clear day, you can see Rainier! Good beer selection (a lot of IPAs). There is also a Millville Pizza Co. food truck available. Parking can be limited on a weekend or busy days so plan accordingly!”

And it's on the corner the inside of the strip mall so you have a nice view if you sit outside on a sunny day. Being a fan of Spring Rolls, I couldn't resist ordering the Shrimp Spring Roll accompanied by peanut dipping sauce, along with two egg rolls. They were both delivered fresh and flavorful. Fresh Rolls is an ideal spot for a satisfying, quick lunch or dinner. The staff members were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. With additional locations in Tacoma and Fircrest, I'm already planning my next visits.”

“my husband and I will go there about few times a year. this was my father in laws favorite place to eat every Wednesday with his brother for many yrs. Yesterday(July 21st) we ate there at approximately 7pm. very nice waiter we had. my husband ordered a Chicken Fried Steak breakfast. he indicated that that meat was very tough and rubbery. I tasted it and totally agreed with him. but that won't stop us from going there again. we did show up on July 16th(Sunday). had no idea you closed up so early(it was about 6pm)”

“It's Mother's Day and this place is packed with loud teens, children running wildly, adults waiting impatiently, lines out the door, and the staff is handling it SUPER well. They are pleasant, showing no signs of stress, giving discounts to Mama's, making drinks fast and efficient, and the drinks are really good! They have options for more, less or no sugar, alternative milks, so many awesome drinks I haven't even heard of... I'm amazed. The ambiance is adorable, they have couches to hang out on with stuffed penguins and pillows, cute phrases written on the walls, cupcakes and other snacks, and they're so sweet! New favorite spot. :)”

“This was our first visit to Wet Coast Brewing. It's located in a small strip mall just seconds off of Hwy 16. It was a quiet weekday afternoon.Our first impression was that it was very clean and organized.The bartender Jas (sp?) had a good personality and was very welcoming and appreciative. Always a good start!Unfortunately, there were patrons with their dogs sitting inside. Dont get me wrong, I love dogs, I have three, but I don't think they belong indoors in public places. Especially restaurants, breweries, or any public place where food or beverages are served. I'll never understand why some people feel the need to take them everywhere they go!Another patron asked if he could bring his dog inside. The bartender respectfully and politely explained that they really don't normally allow pets inside.So I'll let that issue rest.I wish I could remember the name of the specific beer I had, because I really enjoyed it. It, along with a few other of their creations, are available canned in a cooler ready for people on the go.I look forward to another visit to Wet Coast.”

“We ate here tonight for the first time and we loved it. We got a pretzel appetizer, it was huge and fed 5 of us. Our food got there pretty quickly after we finished the pretzel. I got the bbq burger, I was just in the mood for a burger. It was the best burger I had had in a really long time. We came with 4 kids in tow, and sometimes that gets looks and attitudes, but we got great service!”

“I was very excited when they first opened . The service was a little slow but great food. Now everything has changed except the service, still slow but very pleasant. The meals they serve are good, but they have cut way back on portions and raised prices. Beacon and eggs with 3 pancakes were good, but if you wanted the potatoes that used to come with the meal, it is now an additional $3 on top of the $ 18. My wife and I were there at lunchtime, and they had 1 waitress, 1 young man, cleaning tables, and 1 lady bringing the meals out. It just isn't like it was when they first opened, and you can see that by how few customers that had at the peak of the lunch hour. Sad to see”
