“Without a doubt the best Greek restaurant in Calgary if not the best restaurant in Calgary. The food is excellent and consistently of high quality. The service is personal and friendly without being obtrusive. And the restaurant stays quiet even when it's busy. A delightful way to spend an evening with people you enjoy being with.“
“Impressed!!! I have not been to Broken Plate in years. Menu has changed but it's delicious! We went over Happy Hour and it's worth it! Cocktails were amazing.Parking: It's in a strip mall. Plenty.Kid-friendliness: We brought our 3 kids. Aged: 13, 10, 5. All accommodated.“
“Super friendly.Food was excellent.I will definitely visit again .Family run establishment in a great neighborhood right off 16 av heading towards Banff.Definitely come and give it a try. They are so friendly here you'll feel like family.“
“Don't see many customers (in the reviews at least) ordering and enjoying the pasta. "Enjoying" is putting it mildly. They say the portions are huge, and that, indeed, is correct, but I'm very fortunate that the portions WERE substantial, because I did NOT want my main course to end!!I ordered the veal Cannelloni with meat sauce and added meatballs...how much I enjoyed it defies description...Every single topping featured in this dish I could taste and not ONE was lacking. The meatballs, sauce, cheese, veal, pasta...everything stood out and was ridiculously goodThe pizza kicks butt and the moussaka is amazing but I'm wondering if people are dismissing the pasta dishes ?3rd time coming tonight and you better believe there will be a 4th“

“A bit expensive for the portion size, not as filling but the fries are amazing maybe the best on campus, the pita wrap could use more meat it's a bit dry. Also the cashier is friendly and they call out the order numbers when it's busy.“
“Found this place by accident today and let me say that it is phenominal! Chicken souvlaki, salad and fresh pita bead x 2 was arguably the best we have had. Wayyyyy better than OPA. Their food actually looks and tastes homemade. Will be back for sure!“
“My partner and I had dinner at Greek Next Door months ago and tonight we took his father. It was still a really nice experience! The saganaki is what we started with, and it was yummy! My partner had the souvlaki w/ chicken, his father had the tenderloin medallions and I had the lamb! Everything was perfect! Our server, Alex, was the same who had been with us the first time we went and she is a delight! Bubbly and always smiling. Thank you again for the amazing food and experience!“

“I always receive a warm and extremely friendly service from the staff here at Opa! I have had many of the dishes on the menu, and the food is always cooked fresh and to perfection. This use to be my go-to spot 4-5 times per week for the past year when working from home, however, I still try to make a weeknight or weekend visit here for a meal.“
“We decided to have a picnic in the backyard, ordering our entire dinner from Opa! in Myrtle Loop. The selections of menu items was varied and the vegan salad made with chickpeas, onions, tomatoes lettuce in the lake was delicious as was the lamb and chicken we ordered. The pita was fresh and the combination of affordable and tasty Greek food made for a delightful dinner!“
“Delicious beef DONAIR wrap better than DONAIR GRILL in both MAHOGANY and BRIDDLE WOOD.As great as LITTLE LEBANON ?? SHAWARMA PALACE, CANADIAN PIZZA ? UNLIMITED, also my HOWIE’S PIZZA ? IN KILLARNEY. Especially the best part is that I always get GRAVY for my FRIES ? besides ketchup.DONAIR PLACE ROCKS like my HOWIE’S PIZZA ?“
“I just order opa in Fort McMurray on skip. ive never felt so ripped off in my life! Ill never get food from opa again. side potatoes cost $5.10 I received about half a potato, 3 slices one normal, one med, one small. chicken gyro skewer $5.30 ( four dice sized peices of chicken) over half of the skewer stick empty. wanted a ceaser salad for work lunch the next day, paid $9.59 for a fistfull salad with 4 croutons and about a 1" chunk of bacon as bits Opa used to be good, now they are complete con artists. Boooooo! bunch of bums in corporate hq forsure.“
“The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, especially Eddie and Edna. The food was fresh, delicious, and cooked to perfection. I ordered a platter with two skewers which were some of the best skewers I've ever had - they had an extra sizzle that made them melt in my mouth! Muskaan was the chef on duty that night and she did an amazing job. The only downside is that for $13 it didn't have a lot of meat on it - but overall it was still worth it!The location itself is great too - we go to OPA all the time but this one has been our favorite so far. It's conveniently located near where I work so I'm sure to be back soon!Overall, this OPA location is definitely worth checking out if you're in the area. Great service, delicious food, and friendly staff make for a great experience every time!“

“Food was great and fresh. The resturant was clean and the staff members are really friendly and helpful it was my friends first time at opa and she had no clue what she wanted staff told her exactly what to get and she was really satisfied. Highly recommend this opa and will be returning soon.“
“Decided to eat in and really enjoyed the food!I got the chicken mega platter with santorini salad and it was soo good?I wish there was more potatoes than the single one I got but I def got enough food to justify the pricewould recommend coming in and eating with friends as there's plenty of comfortable seating when the weather isn't awful“
“Sometimes your are not in a mood of fast food but you still want to eat outside. I was not in mood of eating any kind of meat and was looking for vegetarian options. I usually eat in Centennial food court and one of co worker was having Chicken Souvlaki plate but I went for Falafel plate. It was worth the money, was little expensive but falafel were fresh from the fryer and veggies were super fresh. I also chicken Souvlaki later and liked it. I would recommend Meet the Greek for anyone who works in downtown as their are many other food options which can be explored in the food court.“
“I love Greek food and Opa! And went to this particular location for the first time. We got a bunch of food and the lady at the counter was very helpful and friendly. Also, the toppings were good portions, which was much appreciated as a lot of places these days skimp on toppings. Overall, if you are looking for good and quick Greek food in this area, this is a good option.“
“Always wanted to try this place . Tonight we did ! Take out ! Chicken wrap was delicious! Next time I want to try the calamari looked delicious! The lady (Ukrainian) was so sweet and delightful. She made my food with love ❤️! Will definitely return .“
“I come to this location many times, but didn’t take the time to write a review. I want to give recognition to Kuldeep that was working that day. I asked her the best veggie option and she suggested the falafel wrap which was very good. This location never disappoints when it comes to the cleanliness and quality of food.Vegetarian options: Falafel WrapSantorini Salad“

“Thank you for probably the best meal Ive ever enjoyed in 20 years of living in Calgary. Not only were we made to feel at home with great service and conversation. The food was out of this world. Great knowing that amazing experiences such as this still exist! We can't wait to come back again. Save space for the Ekmek Kataifi!“
