Top Torch Pressed Sushi in Calgary, and definitely one of the best udon soups. Karage was delicious too. This place is a welcomed gem in a city whose food scene is typically mid compared to Toronto and Vancouver.
Had a fantastic experience at Koko. Their vegetarian spicy honey garlic karaage was delicious and a great imitation of real fried chicken, and the edamame beans were tasty as well. The food portions were great for the price paid. The service was also fantastic, the employee I spoke too was very friendly and enthusiastic, and gave a great description of the food options. The sushi was delicious especially the spicy California Roll, I really liked the teriyaki Chicken and the Korrokke was to die for. The service was great friendly and very helpful in choosing the right dish for those who want recommendations. They have very comfortable seats with good space between the tables, the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. I highly recommend visiting this awesome restaurant.
