Sad to hear this long standing restaurant will be closing after this Easter weekend. Parking was always a challenge in Kensington. We remember the former Jazz dinner venue with its 3 story in restaurant palm tree. The building needs upgrades and the first table we were seated at in the lowest level of the restaurant had a odour of sewage ... we requested to be reseated and the upper level was fine. The food was delicious and the service was great. The Wednesday Date special was a great deal. I enjoyed the wide variety of interesting tasty sides that were offered. The ceasar was delicious. The wine included was very good as well. We enjoyed the baked Alaska dessert. Our waiter had so much personality and was wonderful.
Modern Steak Kensington provides an amazing dining experience with welcoming staff, excellent food, and great wine. The steaks are exceptional, and the menu offers a variety of interesting and tasty sides. The service is great, with friendly and attentive waiters. The restaurant has a special deal on Wednesdays, including a delicious dessert. Despite some minor issues with the building, the overall experience is wonderful.
