My favourite breakfast place... You must try their crepes with warm berries and cream! Warm, inviting environment and plenty of old-fashioned hospitality - - flasks of coffee brought to the table, and service is abundant. The only area of weakness here is in paying for your meal... Have to line up and wait at the front, and it's always disorganized and chaotic. Otherwise, if my waistline and budget could support it, I'd go much more than I do!
OK, so I realize I must be a bit of a snob, because after driving by this Phil's a couple of times, I thought there was no way it could be as good as it is. The parking lot and signage could definitely use some attention, but the fact the lot had lots of cars in it , drew us in. Upon walking in, I realized how wrong I was. It was bright and it was clean! 1st time to Phil's.This is the 1st restaurant where one's meal service is at your table in under 15 minutes. Unusual in this day and age. Very much appreciated.Excellent meal, Excellent service.
