“The best!!! Their soup broth is always consistent and very flavourful. Best time to come is after the lunch rush or dinner time. Staff are always nice and accommodating as we always request steamed veggies in any of the soups we order and they are generous in their portions. Highly recommend trying if you haven’t already.“

“Sandwiches are good, a bit pricey though but good in a pinch. My wife likes this place but my experience wasn't that great, I had been waiting a while in store, just to order there was only one person which was fine.. but some lady comes in after me and now both of us are waiting, close to 10 mins goes by for me already standing there waiting to order and finally the guy is ready to take it... but the lady instead goes first.. dude at the counter looks at me... as if to ask me non verbally... is it OK? In my head it would have been better for him to say, sorry mam but I believe he was next... instead of putting it on a customer to say it... if it hadn't been that my wife wanted a sandwich, I would have left. Was it good.. sure but not 20 minutes waiting good. I'll never go back... but I'm sure my wife will.“
“I had the Garden Cobb Salad which included some unique vegetables, such as butternut squash, and was delicious. The salad bowl could have been more full and included more ancient grains. The maple balsamic vinaigrette was divine! I topped off my lunch with a mashup banana bread chocolate brownie. Mmmmm! Soft, crunchy nuts and so chocolatey. People working are on their game, making food fast with kindness. I’ll be back!Wheelchair accessibility: Smooth entrance from the parking lot into the restaurant. “Kabuku definitely has a solid market share of the north-end of downtown sushi. A bit more expensive than some in the area, they do offer a more varied menu including the spicy rock prawns. Sashimi was fresh, gyoza hot, and the rolls were fairly tasty and well constructed. My only real critique was the $4 green tea. Kabuku also advertizes as supporting local as much as they can, and a portion of their liquor sales are donated to the children's hospital. All in all, I'd definitely eat again but maybe after payday or for a business lunch.“
“This is where I go when my favourite vietnamese place is closed, not my favourite but also by far not a bad place, especially with groups!The restaurant doesn't look good from the outside but the inside is very nice and quiet with extravagant although maybe a bit outdated decor. The staff are polite & helpful, I think they get A LOT of online orders so on occasion service is slow even when the place is empty but they always apologize. As for the food you have to know what to order as not everything on the menu is the best. I would recommend a rice dish as their rice is great, spring rolls are very good and their tea is awesome. Overall its a pretty decent place and I will continue to eat here happily, just a few updates and they’d easily be 5 stars.Dietary restrictions: Their gluten free menu is fabulous and quite diverse.“
“We found this gem of a restaurant a short distance from our place. We had the Satay chicken vermicelli which was absolutely delicious . The Satay sauce is spicy hot the way I like it. My girlfriend had the Satay seafood beef noodle soup which was also spicy hot the way she likes it. The meals are very reasonably priced and the service was excellent. Highly recommend this place.“

“I have bad digestion issues that make me very sensitive to my food. I have been in a bad flare for some time and the sushi here is reliably safe for me. It is incredibly fresh and delicious, it is priced at excellent value, and the service is top tier. I'm happy the staff hasn't been judgmental about me going here almost every day for the past two weeks.“
