I apologize ahead of time if this is not the proper pronoun they identify with but it's the only way I can make sure they are recognized!Anyways, I had purchased a grande white chocolate mocha at a drive thru (different location) and as I made my way to work I realized it was anything but that... Super annoyed I went to the closest Starbucks, which happened to be the Kingsway Mall location. I explained my situation and he immediately rectified my drink, didn't ask any questions, and without charge!I was so happy because my morning was already off to a rocky start. “I have travelled all over Canada and the United States including Mexico and have been to Starbucks at each place. When I say I have never had quality service like I have here is an understatement. I come to this Starbucks at least 3 times everyday. Avery and the team are top notch you can’t get any better. Thank you for making my experience pleasant because without coffee it would be hard to do my job. I always get greeted with such a warm welcome and my coffee tastes perfect. “I came for shopping at the Safeway and I said to myself I didn't my morning coffee so I ordered a grande coffee and starbucks was closing in 15 minutes. But Shi Wei served me with a lot of respect and care and did an outstanding service, she took her time to make me a pour over(drip coffee) I was more than satisfied with Shi Wei. “I was served by a lovely young woman, Serena (I hope I'm spelling that right), who made my experience very pleasant. She was bright and cheery, and while I don't expect that from any worker, it was a welcome bonus!I asked her about one of the new spring drinks, and her enthusiastic review was all I needed to order one. She called it, "Spring in a cup," and I agree! The barista who made my drink did so perfectly, and my husband said his was wonderful, as well. I don't normally review fast food/coffee places until after the first few visits, but my experience at this location today was so enjoyable that I had to break my own rule. Although it is a bit further from my house, I think this store will become my regular one, and I look forward to future visits!“
“Tammy at Riverbend is the best Barista I've had at any Starbucks in a Safeway! Well, Marica at Meadowlark is awesome too ? Tammy always makes my white chocolate mocha bang on if not better than usual! We always have a chat whenever I'm in and she's always so friendly and kind. Even if someone else is taking my order she always starts making my drink before it's run through. She just knows! Wish she worked at a location in the west end. “On Monday, I ordered a turkey sandwich and paid for it. Then I noticed a person who was seated in a corner wuth his head down on the table and ordered another sandwich for him. When I went to pay the cashier said that I did not have to pay. They served him the sandwich and a hot drink. I was so happy to see what generous hearts the staff had. I came in the other morning and there was a delay with their espresso machine, so they gave me my drink sticker and asked me to come back another time to have my drink remade (they also gave me a coffee so I didn’t leave empty handed). “The lady behind the till was very nice. It was a couple minutes before close and I asked if she was taking any more orders. She said of course and took my drink down. “This is the cafe that I usually go. employees are super nice and remember most of their regular's name. They also have strong customer connection! I always enjoy talking with every single employee who works here. It never feels like they're talking to you because they have to; you actually feel close to them. Also for mobile orders there haven't been a single time that I've ordered and they didn't have it ready when I got there. The cafe is always clean! and washrooms always have the needed supplies! I absolutely love this café!“

“Today, my bf and I were going to the drive-thru and the line was very long. I was already late from work yet still decided to get something to eat. I was starting to get annoyed because of how bad the line for drive-thru was but the worker was nice enough to talk to me and lighten up my mood while we waited for our order to finish. Her name was Katie and she was really nice and I loved her energy. She even gave me two free cake pops for being patient with them ♡also, shoutout to that one worker too who was nice enough to give my order for free few weeks ago because someone cut in front of us while waiting for 20 minutes.“
