“We have been here a few times and it’s usually good. But why most Mexican restaurants seem to cook steak very well, El Patron does not seem to know how. I ordered the steak and shrimp, I told the waitress I wanted my steak rare (usually it’s always med rare when I say this.) but this steak was fully cooked and no flavor and the shrimp was over cooked (rubbery) the steamed vegetables had no flavor they were bland and for some reason they add fries which are not seasoned. You don’t get any sauces, and no salad or anything. Truly a boring dish, and definitely a disappointing meal.”

“Had a wonderful Sunday brunch So glad to find a place, so close to the Gadsden area, for a Sunday brunch. Staff was efficient, friendly & the food was excellent . We had reservations and were seated immediately. Sangria was great !!!!”

“Stopped by for Saturday lunch and was impressed with the general cleanliness and interior decor and atmosphere. The corn tortilla chips and salsa tasted good and I think homemade. Same with the Pico de Gaello, Guacamole and sauce that came with the rice and beans. The only drawback was the Carnitas which appeared to be a left over from the previous day as the meat was hardened and not as tasty as freshly cooked Carnitas should be. The sweet tea with lemon was refreshing and well made. I would suggest anyone visiting ask your waiter/waitress for freshly cooked meals only.”

“3 times now I've been to KFC in Attalla Al. while in the drive thru, I've witnessed the most kind hearted actions from the managers and the staff without them even noticing, I was paying attention to the way they were speaking so nicely to others, the food was even better after I witnessed such a sweetness to the community. Thank you to all the managers and employees who made such an example to others.”

“First time getting Jacks for breakfast, and I was pleasantly surprised. I got the breakfast wrap, which was decent, definitely more than edible. The hash rounds are where it's at though. They were hot, crispy and you get a quite large serving. I got lemonade and it's a bit more sweet than sour, but still good. The staff was very pleasant and polite.”
