“Got the blueberry cold brew with vanilla cold foam and LET ME TELL YALL it was SO good it didn’t last 5 minutes! I couldn’t put it down! Absolutely delicious I loved it! So glad to have a great coffee place with a drive thru! I had no idea they existed but now they just earned themselves another customer with their amazing coffee!”
“I have to say Brandy the General Manager is the best thing that ever come to Hokes bluff. She provides fast and friendly service also encouraged me to try something new. The atmosphere is very clean and even occupied my children while waiting for their food. Our breakfast was hot and fresh and even served warm syrup for the waffles. She also encouraged us to come back for kids eat free on mondays and tuesdays. we definitely will be backKid-friendliness: Brandy provides coloring pages for contest and she has a holiday tree year round that provides lil things for the kids like bubbles, lil snack, and lil prizes for the kids for when they eat all their food”
“Ate there on. 30 Oct 2023.Wings were amazing and service was quick. The girl at the window was also very nice.If you’re in the area you need to try this place.”
“Both girls were competent, attentive, and super efficient. They were patient as I asked for a specific amount of vegetables added to my sandwich. It was the perfect amount! It tasted terrific, everything was fresh, and the bread was soft baked and fresh! Thank you ladies for your hard work.”
“Every time I come here I have the best experience! Employees are the best, food is always delicious, and if there ever is a problem they are on top of it! I love this place”
“Ben that works the window at the Hokes Bluff location is the sweetest, kindest employee I’ve ever met. He is always so friendly and upbeat. Every time we come and he’s working it is always a wonderful experience. Give that man a raise!”
“Love it here came with my dog from traveling the girls are nice there understanding and careful for us there great people here thank u guys for careing and help I'll come here again if I could thank u guys again u guys sweat and understanding thank”
“Me and my folks came early in the afternoon on Sunday and ate lunch here and we had a positive experience. We all decided to have fajitas which was good ? overall we ordered and their weren’t a lot of people which was nice. I have seen their locations around glencoe and HWY 77 but never tried it. This one was good”
“We usually eat here at least once a week.Good food, especially love their warm chips, salsa and cheese dip. Top shelf margarita is really good. Tried the chicken soup today. Delicious on a cold Sunday afternoon! Lots of shredded chicken, hot broth, and topped off with fresh avocado and pico de galllo. Very large serving. Friendly, efficient staff, bright, clean upbeat atmosphere and Greg (owner) is the best! Greg welcomes everyone as if you were his only customer. Head on over to Mi Casita in Glencoe when you are craving Mexican food.”
“Vast assortment of "Dinner on the ground " Food. Meats and vegetables for everyone. Easy in and out and very reasonable pricing. Buffet style plenty of seating.”
“The food and people are awesome! I just wish they hired at least one more person to speed up service. Someone dedicated to handle all of the drink orders. Took about 15 minutes just to place my order (although it was busy). But the food is first rate and I will be going there again!”
“Chocolate peanut butter brownies are soooo good. Well everything Cothrans makes is absolutely delicious.Parking: Limited # of spots directly on the property, but near by shopping center that has parking”
“We recently moved our business to the same shopping center and have been visiting twelve baskets most mornings, everything we’ve tried has been absolutely delicious! The atmosphere, food, coffee, and customer service is 10/10!”
“This is the best place I’ve ever been, been going here since I was born and I’ve made so many good memories and met loads of people that I can never forget. The staff is so nice, polite, and would NEVER. Do anything wrong (on purpose of course). Everyone here is absolutely an angel from heaven and god sent. If you ever visit here we have a wonderful kids area, football, soccer ball, volleyball, net ball, and many other things you can find. We encourage you to ask our bar tenders for chalk and draw your heart out. Whether it’s absolutely trash or Mona Lisa art we don’t care.As far as food and drink, not old enough to drink but I can imagine if you like craft beer you’re in for a treat, for my teens & kids we have Shirley Temples and any lemonade you can think of, as well as a lot of sodas. We also have burgers, nachos, and other good food. For things todo while you’re here, most days we have music, Tuesdays we have jazz (go Arnold) and on Thursday we have trivia. Most Fridays we have a live band (probably Adam & Reagan or Craig McGriff) they’re always amazing and everyday at back forty is a blast. And 4th of July is a different animal. So, to rest my case, yeah, come check it out. Bring family, friends, or just yourself! It’ll be worth your while❤️”
“There were six in our party, just a short wait, but we had to sit on the drafty porch area. Aunt Peggy was cold. We had plenty of room to sit comfortably, and the service was good and the food was delicious. Cheerful waitress ? and we all ordered extra fish because it was served hot and fresh and we knew it would be great and we all left with our bellies full, picking our teeth and wish we weren't too full to order a slice of lemon box Cake? I think that's what they called it, but we didn't know about it when we ordered all that extra fish ?. That's our excuse to come back again next time we get to see Aunt Peggy in Alabama. Thanks y'all we'll be back and maybe we can grab a seat by the fireplace so Aunt Peggy don't freeze . Ha HahahaAlso, y'all should paint new lines on the parking lot so nobody gets blocked in, that would be a nice improvement. The parking is very chaotic for guests and you just don't want to get your doors dinged and paint chipped, best to park a ways out and walk if you don't have someone in your group who has difficulty walking a distance.Parking: People just seem to Park wherever and it's fine if you come early, but you may try and park in such a way as not to get pinned in when you're on your way home. Gotta remember how uncomfortable it would be to have to ask another patron to leave the table in order to move their automobile ?????. Thanks y'all!!”
“I met a group of family members for breakfast and we had great food, our waitress was very friendly and attentive. We were not rushed but allowed to fellowship and enjoy our visit!”
“Surprised!!! From the road not so impressed but inside, wow really nice and the food was super big portions and great tasting! We for sure will be back. We had Hawaiian fajitas for two and left with enough for us both another meal.”
“This is such a wonderful Hidden Gem in Gadsden! This delightful cafe is located inside the Gadsden Public Library to the right and then to the back, behind the stacks. I went for a friend's birthday party and was simply wowed by everything that was served on the buffet. The macaroni and cheese was absolutely the best I have ever eaten! It is vastly superior to the macaroni and cheese at Frank Sttits's Bottega Restaurant in Birmingham, which is still delicious of course, but Beautiful Rainbow's is better! There was also an incredibly fresh salad, and it is my understanding that all of the vegetables used here are produced by local farms, including one that is right across the street! The vinaigrette was so flavorful and fresh and made fresh in-house. There was a carrot cake that incredibly moist and decadent, with the richest, but not too sweet, icing. There were also wonderful teas and lemonade. I cannot recommend this place more; this is a must for when you want a fabulous lunch in downtown Gadsden!”
“Best Ruben sandwich in Alabama, love everything about this place. We had a great evening, waiters stayed on top of making sure everything was good and if we needed anything. Chef came out and ask if we were pleased with our food. Great atmosphere, we will definitely come ”
“This place offers a variety of home style desserts. It also has homemade frozen meals that you can take home and heat up. They usually have chicken pot pies, zitti, chicken casserole, traditional home style foods, and soups. It is a takeaway only.”
“Always a great visit at The Choice! The food, service and atmosphere is always great. If you’re looking for a cute, quite old fashioned restaurant this is your spot!”
“Found it on Yelp a few months ago to help someone who was travel to Gadsden and wanted something different, they have great reviews about it when they ate there and told me I got to go, so I was in Gadsden for a Model Train show, and my family and I ate in, it was great, got the buffalo chicken sandwich combo. Staff was nice but not over friendly but food was hot and quick. Inside is basic but clean”
“I love being able to walk down Broad Street from my office to grab a latte when I get a chance, and every time I do I tell myself I'm going to be good--and then I break down and buy one of their DIVINE chocolate croissants ? They have an area in the back with couches and tables and books to peruse, and there's always a student or two taking advantage of the free Wi-Fi to study, and usually some sort of interesting discussion circulating. Great place!”
“Food was good and cheap. 10 dollars a person for chicken fried steak (today’s special). For a cheap, quick service, dinner style place, I don’t think you can beat ”
“I got two shaved ice, One small Island Breeze and one kid sized Melonberry. As well as buffalo chicken nachos. Both shaved ice were great and the flavor combinations went well together. The nachos were also good, the buffalo chicken dip had a great taste to it and the nachos were fresh.”
“We bought the bbq pork dinner with two sides. It was ok. The macaroni and cheese had soggy noodles. The green beans were tasty. Previously we had eaten the bbq sandwich and it was excellent. I prefer the sandwich over the bbq plate.”
“Best tacos in town! Easily the best tasting tacos, with the highest quality ingredients, not to mention the most generous portion size! You can't go wrong here with the regular, fajitas, or street tacos. They actually grill the tortillas, so they are wonderful, warm, and don't break on you! You can customize your taco toppings here with no problems and the upcharges for add-on's are reasonable and make you feel like an appreciated customer. Most places in Gadsden have started upcharging any modification at a rate that makes me feel bullied, but not this place! They act like they really want you to enjoy your food, which is how it should be! I had never been in this restaurant until about 2 months ago when I tried to eat at C&J's next door (I love their food, but their service leaves a lot to be desired) and they would not seat me at 4:00 pm (I get that they must not have had staff, and it is a weird time to eat, but I was hungry so going to a restaurant expecting food didn't seem unreasonable) and they said they could not seat me for 30-45 minutes. I asked my companions if they wanted to try "the place next door" as we were all starving, and they said sure. We walked in and were blown away by how beautiful this restaurant is! From the outside it looks scary and not so nice (which is why I had never been here) but the interior is stunning! Huge picture windows line the entire back of the building, showcasing tons of natural light and beautiful views of the river. The interior has a bright and warm feel that is so comfortable and enjoyable. The staff were happy to see us and instantly sat us a a large comfortable booth with a beautiful view and had chips and salsa in front of us in 1 minute flat. Our food didn't take 10 minutes to arrive after that, and everyone loved their meal. The chips and salsa here are great; the salsa is the best in town, the chips could be a little thinner, but it's not like I'm going somewhere else for better chips. The rice, beans, side salad, guac, are all exactly what you expect. Every entree I've tried here has been great, but I keep going back to all the incredible taco choices! The only thing I avoid here is the cheese dip, which seems a little runny and lacking in cheese flavor, which is not a problem (for me) as they load my tacos up with fresh delicious grated-to-order cheese. I can't believe I've been missing out on this place for all the years I've lived here! I'm not making that mistake anymore - I think I've been here twice a week since discovering it - it is just that good!”
“Absolutely wonderful. Me and my girlfriend are always looking for new experiences together when it comes to food and this spot was excellent. The amount of food you get and pleasant service was on point. We definitely will return.”
“Ordered a Philly chicken sandwich, it wasn't as good as the previous ones I've had before. Chicken was a on the grisly side and had an almost left over flavor. Service was good as usual and the place is nice and clean.”
“My family & I just had our first experience with Julio's Pizza & WE LOVED IT!! We got the bbq pizza & it was amazing. It was MUCH BETTER than any bbq pizza that I've had from a major chain like Pizza Hut or Dominoes. We also got a meatball hoagie & a steak hoagie. The meatball hoagie was the best meatball sandwich I've ever eaten. It is a million times better & in a different league compared to the meatball sub from subway. It's also much better than any other meatball sandwiches I've had from local Italian restaurants. The steak hoagie was also very good & one of the best I've ever had. I've had dozens of steak sandwiches from all kinds of restaurants from all over the south & this is definitely in the top 2 best steak sandwiches that I've ever eaten. What else can I say but this place is fantastic & I highly recommend it.”
