“So I finally went in to Southside nutrition yesterday. I have never felt more welcomed and more at peace in a place before in my life. Erica was working the counter smile on her face. While she was making my shakes she and I were just talking. The shakes, I got an orange dreamsicle my friend got a gummy bear both amazing if I could get this place 10 Stars I totally would but I highly recommend Southside nutrition not just for the shakes but for the atmosphere as well as customer service because they've got it down ..”

“Calpine was pretty good, maybe a tad greasy. Got the lunch special and found it odd it didn't come with a side like some of the other lunch specials. The lady was very soft spoken and made it kinda hard to understand her when she spoke. Other empty tables still had lot of trash sitting on them when we came in and for a while after being there.”

“I visited Mcdonalds in Southside Al with my family for dinner. We had a rather large order so was pulled up. We never mind this as we know it can be an inconvenience to the staff. “We were driving by Jack's on Highway 77 in Southside and decided to stop in for lunch and we're glad we did!Their fried chicken was excellent and their slaw was some of the best we've eaten recently.Our cashier was friendly and service was prompt.The dining area was not exceptionally clean but it was toward the end of lunchtime so that's understandable.We will be back the next time we're in the area.”

“We usually eat here at least once a week.Good food, especially love their warm chips, salsa and cheese dip. Top shelf margarita is really good. Tried the chicken soup today. Delicious on a cold Sunday afternoon! Lots of shredded chicken, hot broth, and topped off with fresh avocado and pico de galllo. Very large serving. Friendly, efficient staff, bright, clean upbeat atmosphere and Greg (owner) is the best! Greg welcomes everyone as if you were his only customer. Head on over to Mi Casita in Glencoe when you are craving Mexican food.”

“This place is not popular enough, it's on the beautiful coosa river, and you can eat out side in the spring or summer. The ribblets is falling off the bones when you eat it, they are best in town.. you can get Nachos every thing on it for only $5.00. They serve vegetarian meals, and bbq, Ilook at the menu, they have alot.. you can even buy beer in a cooler. Very friendly. If you have not went here, you are missing one one the best places to eat.. and the prices are good...”

Simon and Paige catered an exquisite English Tea hosted by Collier-Butler Funeral Home for a group of women of our community. The Tea was held at the Gunn-Bellenger House in Gadsden. “This is the best place I’ve ever been, been going here since I was born and I’ve made so many good memories and met loads of people that I can never forget. The staff is so nice, polite, and would NEVER. Do anything wrong (on purpose of course). Everyone here is absolutely an angel from heaven and god sent. If you ever visit here we have a wonderful kids area, football, soccer ball, volleyball, net ball, and many other things you can find. We encourage you to ask our bar tenders for chalk and draw your heart out. Whether it’s absolutely trash or Mona Lisa art we don’t care.As far as food and drink, not old enough to drink but I can imagine if you like craft beer you’re in for a treat, for my teens & kids we have Shirley Temples and any lemonade you can think of, as well as a lot of sodas. We also have burgers, nachos, and other good food.For things todo while you’re here, most days we have music, Tuesdays we have jazz (go Arnold) and on Thursday we have trivia. Most Fridays we have a live band (probably Adam & Reagan or Craig McGriff) they’re always amazing and everyday at back forty is a blast. And 4th of July is a different animal.So, to rest my case, yeah, come check it out. Bring family, friends, or just yourself! It’ll be worth your while❤️”

“My husband and I went for the first time tonight, and we fell in love. The atmosphere was really nice and it was very clean. We were greeted as we came in the door with a hello and a smile. The server was friendly, and answered our questions about the menu. We ordered a cup of gumbo and a cup of red beans and rice as our starter and they were amazing. We both had the Who Dat burger and it was mouthwatering. My husband loved the gumbo so much he ordered another cup for his side. I had the fried onion strings as my side. They were well seasoned and crispy. The portion sizes are hearty, the prices are very reasonable. I of course had to try the beignets, and they were excellent. We highly recommend JP & Son, and we will definitely be returning soon!”

“There were six in our party, just a short wait, but we had to sit on the drafty porch area. Aunt Peggy was cold. We had plenty of room to sit comfortably, and the service was good and the food was delicious. Cheerful waitress ? and we all ordered extra fish because it was served hot and fresh and we knew it would be great and we all left with our bellies full, picking our teeth and wish we weren't too full to order a slice of lemon box Cake? I think that's what they called it, but we didn't know about it when we ordered all that extra fish ?. That's our excuse to come back again next time we get to see Aunt Peggy in Alabama. Thanks y'all we'll be back and maybe we can grab a seat by the fireplace so Aunt Peggy don't freeze . Ha HahahaAlso, y'all should paint new lines on the parking lot so nobody gets blocked in, that would be a nice improvement. The parking is very chaotic for guests and you just don't want to get your doors dinged and paint chipped, best to park a ways out and walk if you don't have someone in your group who has difficulty walking a distance.Parking: People just seem to Park wherever and it's fine if you come early, but you may try and park in such a way as not to get pinned in when you're on your way home. Gotta remember how uncomfortable it would be to have to ask another patron to leave the table in order to move their automobile ?????. Thanks y'all!!”

“This is such a wonderful Hidden Gem in Gadsden! This delightful cafe is located inside the Gadsden Public Library to the right and then to the back, behind the stacks. I went for a friend's birthday party and was simply wowed by everything that was served on the buffet. The macaroni and cheese was absolutely the best I have ever eaten! It is vastly superior to the macaroni and cheese at Frank Sttits's Bottega Restaurant in Birmingham, which is still delicious of course, but Beautiful Rainbow's is better! There was also an incredibly fresh salad, and it is my understanding that all of the vegetables used here are produced by local farms, including one that is right across the street! The vinaigrette was so flavorful and fresh and made fresh in-house. There was a carrot cake that incredibly moist and decadent, with the richest, but not too sweet, icing. There were also wonderful teas and lemonade. I cannot recommend this place more; this is a must for when you want a fabulous lunch in downtown Gadsden!”
