Great pastries overall, though some items need improvement. We enjoyed the olive oil cake, chocolate chip cookie, kouign aman, and blueberry danish. We had some concerns with the passionfruit bar and croissant.The passionfruit bar was nicely done but only had a hint of passionfruit flavor. Got the most lovely Valentine’s Day croissant with a friend. The staff was amazing as always and the pastry was delicious. I am always impressed by the variety of Last Call and it has become one of my favorite spots in Birmingham since moving here last Fall.

The staff is friendly. I had the oatmeal cream pie! When they post it on the "Gram" the night before, you better line up as early as 6:30 a.m. However, in all fairness, they only let you get just one (that is new). I would like for them to declare an Oatmeal Cream Pie Day. I would even come in to assist. I guarantee they would be busy all day. This place is a cute little gem and I'm glad I found it.
