“Wow! That's all this review should say, but I'll go into detail. We stopped by in the way to Huntsville for supper. My family got pulled pork, but I tried the deep fried fish. As I was walking to my seat, some BBQ sauce in bottles warming in a crock pot caught my eye. I got one. I've made a few good choices in my life, but the choice to get that BBQ sauce is definitely top 3. Wow! I told the owner (?) that it was the best I've ever had. He was kind enough to hook me up with some to bring home. The fish was awesome, but with that sauce it was divine! Ok...moving on. The banana pudding is awesome too. I still can't make out what I tasted in it. Kinda a hint of cinnamon, maybe. Very good. The atmosphere was awesome, service was awesome, food was some of the best I've had! Highly recommend!“
“One of our go to BBQ spots! We always know exactly what we're getting. Great service and tasty bbq! The lunch box is a great value for a sandwich, side, etc! Try the corn salad. Prices have gone up, but that's across the board at every restaurant.“
“First time eating at Moe's and I will be back. I had ribs, potato salad, and cornbread. I normally don't like cornbread but theirs was outstanding. I don't know what they did to it but was mmm mmm good. Everything was great tasting and filling. The amount and quality of food was worth the price. Some of the best bbq I've had in a long time. The ladies that dealt with me were extremely nice. Top notch place for sure!“
“As usual, Smokey C’s is the best lunch place around Decatur. The food is outstanding and everyone is super nice. You can always tell a good restaurant by the length of the line. Even though the line is almost out the door every day. It moves quickly because of their great serving and cooking team. The flavor & tenderness of their smoked chicken can’t be matched by anyone else. With a large selection of sides, you can get just about any combination you like. Don’t forget an order of deviled eggs.“
“I'm from the north side of Atlanta and participate in an annual dart tournament in Decatur. I visited Scruggs last year for the first time and had some some of the best BBQ i've ever eaten. I planned to eat there again this year but looked up regular hours and found that Scruggs was closed on the weekends. To my gleeful surprised they were open when I drove by. This is the best BBQ i've ever had. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome. The quality and amount of food is amazing. I'm hoping y'all will be open next year on the Saturday that the "Shoot for the Moon" dart tournament takes place. See you next year!“
