“I stopped in for lunch as my first visit. The restaurant has a small dining room with 4-5 tables. The place was busy with folks at the tables and cars going thru the drive thru. The menu is not extensive because all items are smoked fresh that day. I ordered a small chopped pork and a large chopped pork sandwich to go (I ordered no sides today). It was ready in less than 3 minutes. The barbecue sandwiches were generous, fresh, nice and hot and they tasted delicious. The sauce was very tasty and made the sandwiches tangy and juicy. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back to try the chicken, turkey and sausage items on the menu.“

“Stopped by for the first time, had the brisket and it was excellent. The customer service was seriously top notch as well. They were so nice and you can tell they really care about the business. I also wanted to mention that the sides we picked (Mac & Cheese and Rice) were both really good too. Much better than side items typically are at most restaurants. We will be back!“

“I have lived in Alabama for about two years now the bbq has been just not up to what I’m used to ( white sauce , Cole slaw , bbq sauce, dried out meat you have to drown in sauce to eat ) just saying not a fan. Well moved to Madison and tried this place hands down the best bbq so far in the area.Tastes just like down home bbq southern style. Have to try more but this place rocks.“
“Service was very pleasant if not a bit slow. The food was good, but could be made better with a bit more explanation. For example some specialty restaurants will ask if you've been there before and assist you with the menu and food styles. This could have made our experience here much better.“

“On my last visit to Jim and Nicks my husband and I sat at the bar and ordered wings as an appetizer - they were excellent. We enjoyed talking with the bartender and found the service to be great. The restaurant is so nice, we decided to return the next evening for wings again! Love the new look both inside and outside on the patio.“
