“Very, very good food & the staff is so friendly. We eat at Local Joe's often and have never had a bad meal. Love the onion rings & the BBQ is always delicious. The pimento cheese & homemade pork rinds are out of this world.“
“Stopped by for a family pack the other night. The pulled pork was good. The thick n warm bbq sauce excellent! But that white sauce was the most disgusting white sauce I've ever eat. I didn't like the variation they put to a simple sauce. It is not supposed to spicy either or pink hence the name white sauce. I would prefer a tradional white sauce. Living in NW Alabama for 10 years may be the reason I didn't like the sauce here at Wilson's. Guess I'll stick to making my own white sauce when I pick up a family pack.“
“Drive in/walk up only, but the people greeting you at the window are just as, if not more hospitable, as a waiter/waitress at a sit-down restaurant. The BBQ is some of the best I've eaten from all over the country. They open at 1100am and have happy hour after 6pm, but it's never a bad time to stop by. 10/10 highly recommended.“
