“Quaint little restaurant out in the country with a parking lot that is constantly full but when you get inside you will find some of the best comfort food around. The fried fish on Friday is delicious. Everyday look for meatloaf that is like your mamma use to make, chicken fingers, BBQ ribs, all cooked to perfection and hot. Real mashed potatoes, green beans , baked beans, the lists goes on, we always leave regretting eating too much. The staff is always pleasant and friendly and there is enough staff that the tables are cleaned as people leave. We frequent this restaurant at least twice a month with friends and thoroughly enjoy every visit.“

“The food and people are awesome! I just wish they hired at least one more person to speed up service. Someone dedicated to handle all of the drink orders. Took about 15 minutes just to place my order (although it was busy). But the food is first rate and I will be going there again!“

“There were six in our party, just a short wait, but we had to sit on the drafty porch area. Aunt Peggy was cold. We had plenty of room to sit comfortably, and the service was good and the food was delicious. Cheerful waitress ? and we all ordered extra fish because it was served hot and fresh and we knew it would be great and we all left with our bellies full, picking our teeth and wish we weren't too full to order a slice of lemon box Cake? I think that's what they called it, but we didn't know about it when we ordered all that extra fish ?. That's our excuse to come back again next time we get to see Aunt Peggy in Alabama. Thanks y'all we'll be back and maybe we can grab a seat by the fireplace so Aunt Peggy don't freeze . Ha HahahaAlso, y'all should paint new lines on the parking lot so nobody gets blocked in, that would be a nice improvement. The parking is very chaotic for guests and you just don't want to get your doors dinged and paint chipped, best to park a ways out and walk if you don't have someone in your group who has difficulty walking a distance.Parking: People just seem to Park wherever and it's fine if you come early, but you may try and park in such a way as not to get pinned in when you're on your way home. Gotta remember how uncomfortable it would be to have to ask another patron to leave the table in order to move their automobile ?????. Thanks y'all!!“

“My daughter and I have eaten breakfast here several times. The food is good, made properly. Service was fast. My favorite thing about this restaurant is the old time building atmosphere. I haven't eaten any other meals here, so I can't comment on those. I can find gluten free items on the breakfast menu, which I need. This restaurant is one of hometown kind of places, where the locals go to eat. Very welcoming!“

“I can't recommend trying this place on st Patrick's day weekend because it was packed, loud, and took forever to get service, understandably. But the kitchen was on point, getting the food out fast, hot, and delicious. The trash can fries are enormous and have a very smokey flavor. Southwest egg rolls are excellent.“

“My favorite times to go are Wednesdays and Thursdays for karaoke. The singers tend to be really talented and into watching each other perform. The DJ is an awesome guy who goes out of his way to play your music for you.One of the regulars is a fun Michael Jackson impersonator. He has some dance moves, the hat, white shirt, and sequin glove and jacket! There are several pool tables and a live band on the weekends. AND the food is really really good! Try the lemon pepper wings ? and homemade tortilla chips. Lots to choose from!“

“Had two doctors appointment today so on our way home we decided to stop for lunch . Asked the server to make sure the burgers are done ex well no pink no red we have medical issues and cannot eat raw meat that's not what we want anyway without medical issues. My husband and I was so upset when we got just what we didn't ask for. When I pay for something I think I should get what I ask for not what they want to give me. The meat was raw with just a little brown on the top to cover it. And then the server brought our lunch curbside pickup we sat there waiting for her to deliver she brought some else order before bringing ours and we had been waiting longer than the other person I don't know her name but she's a blonde wear a lot of makeup. Very disappointed with this order and service.“
