“Last night my husband and I ate dinner at Firebirds. Our steaks were INCREDIBLE. They could compete with Fleming’s or Perry’s. Our service was excellent. I wish I remembered our servers name, she was quick and very kind (she had on a David Yurman cross pendant, young and light brown hair). I do recommend making a reservation if you’re going on a Friday/Saturday night. As we were leaving, we heard the hostess say it would be a 3 hour wait for the party that just arrived. Will be back!”

We really enjoyed the decor of metal lunch boxes, variety of overhead music and wing mural photo op. When our food arrived, I was surprised at how huge my buffalo chicken salad was! Everything was delicious and I had to get a to go box for the remainder of my food. All of the staff were super friendly. If we are ever in the area again we will definitely eat here.”

“Fantastic Five Guys at Stadium Trace in Hoover. This Five Guys is not a corporate location but a local franchise, so the prices are reasonable. Great burger and the fries are the best in Hoover. Come Fall, their outdoor seating area will be a great option for seating. (Even today it was comfortable).”

“Last weekend (2 weeks ago) I finally got to try Biscuit Belly: Hoover. We had been out running earns and shopping and realized we had not eaten breakfast and it was close to lunch and we just so happen to be close by and this place has been on my list anyways. This place is definitely what it says it is. Biscuits everywhere man. If you're a biscuit lover then this is definitely for you! I ordered a Not Chicken and Waffle (I think that's what it was called) and basically it was a split biscuit cooked like French toast and those that know me know French toast is my favorite. I have a tier list it's French toast, waffles, then pancakes for me. Also those that know me know I don't care much for biscuits but these were good especially with the syrup on top. Now the chicken itself was nicely seasoned and I could tell they cooked it fresh. I could also tell they don't marinate their chicken which is fine but it's easily noticeable when chicken isn't marinated because you can taste it's pure white chicken breast. As I said before it was good and crunchy and still seasoned well. I liked it. I give the meal an 8/10. The service was good as well it was very crowded but the way the service was you couldn't tell. Everyone was so nice and very patient. The food came out fairly quickly as well. I was impressed and happy. 10/10 on services. Would I come back here? Absolutely I have a few more things I'd like to try! If you are ever in the Hoover area or live in the Hoover area check this place out!”

“Moved to the area not long ago from Nashville. We were concerned about finding a good sushi place and have tried several around Hoover with not finding the right place yet. Tonight we decided to try Unagi and we are so glad we did! Edamame was fresh, wife had the Hometown Roll and I had the Big Al with Soypaper. They were both delish! Service was just as good. Also had the house ginger salad to round out an overall GREAT experience and meal! We will be back for sure and the bonus is living withing 2 mins. Thanks for a great experience!”

“We have always enjoyed Baha Burger. Due to medical issues, it’s been some time since we last ate there. The owner was always so courteous to us and eager for us try new things. He introduced me to the delicious remoulade that is a must for all things I order. However, our most recent experience made us feel differently. I know people have off days. We are all entitled to them….BUT…while we were eating, we overheard the owner yelling at the cook (he was standing directly behind us) about how many tater tots he put on my sons plate. He said it was too much for a child portion and went on and on about it. There were nine tater tots on his plate and he ate them all. My son overheard him yelling at the cook and asked me if he should give some of them back. That hurt my heart that my five year old felt guilty eating a meal that was set in front of him. I’m sure we will still give them our business because the food is amazing. I just hope the owner understands that sometimes things should be handled differently. Nine tater tots was not a true reason to have gotten so upset. Now if it had been ten….😜”

“i ordered pick up through toast takeout. i was a little grumpy when i went to get it bc i had put in for curbside and was comfy in my PJs and not wanting to get out. but when i called about where to park for curbside, there was some challenge in communicating. so finally went in to get it, in my pj pants. 🫠 despite that, i ordered hibachi steak and it was very large portions and freshly cooked. tasty too. not to mention good price for what you get. i’ll order here again for sure. they even remembered the spicy mayo. 💯”

“Hello, I would like to let everyone know how amazing Bus's Best Cookies custom service is and Mr Jeffery McClure went way above all expectations. My Wife and I were on a road trip and we stopped at "The Texan" gas station in Schulenburg Texas and I purchased their Lemon Cream cookies. I looked through their selection and chose them because they are cholesterol free and zero trans fat. We got back to our truck and I had a couple of them; really great flavor! I was super impressed with them. I got to the third one and it had no cream followed by the next 4. The left side of the package only had one with the lemon cream. Disappointing because they are so good. Even without the cream, the plain cookie was still very tasty. I sent Bud's Best Cookies an email with the intent of just letting them know about the situation. I wasn't asking for anything. Mr McClure replied the next day and offered to send replacement cookies. He not only sent the lemon cream cookies, but to our surprise, he sent a very nice variety of other products for us to enjoy. This company has earned a new customer and we will be be recommending them to family and friends. They are amazing cookies and their customer service is beyond excellent!”

“Decided to try this place yesterday. They are not dine in from what I saw so I ordered it through Uber Eats and had it delivered. This place had been recommended to me so I figured I'd try it. I got 1 bacon pizza, 1 Pepperoni, and a order of Buffalo wings. I'm not going to sugarcoat this. This pizza was mid at best it was just okay. Reminded me of generic pizza, like if you told me it was frozen pizza I'd believe you. It was like when Little Ceasars use to be bad because we all know they have gotten a lot better over the years. The pizza was really doughy. Like right on the verge of being raw dough. They put the toppings under the cheese so it was like I only had cheese pizza on one of them. It was a floppy mess and the sauce overpowered everything. Couldn't taste the Pepperoni or bacon and the cheese was a bit bland. 6/10 The wings were pretty good even though they ignored how I wanted them cooked. I wanted them extra well done like the option gave me on the app. We did not get that. They were a bit soggy but I have to admit they were still pretty good. Whatever Buffalo sauce they use absolutely said it. 7/10 All in all this place was decent but this would be low on my list of ever spending my money here again. I have been trying to try this place for awhile and when I finally did it was a huge let down.”

“Lately, I've been discovering more places that sell fast food sandwiches, you've got Subway or Quiznos, Jimmy John's, and of course Firehouse Subs. This place is a special place because of the tradition that goes on around here. The theme is it depicts a firefighter doing his/her duties. Hence the name firehouse, I wouldn't be surprised if fire fighters come here to eat all the time.

Food: I got the Cajun chicken and the Italian sub, these are both phenomenal very rich tasting. And almost like, they put effort into making the sandwich. The price is actually affordable. I have posted pictures of the menu if you were to look.

Atmosphere: Like I said, it feels like you're a fire fighter when you eat here, it almost feels like home like you're safe. It wasn't too busy when I was here. If you buy something at firehouse subs, you can contribute to first responders.

Service: Obviously I wouldn't be skipping this, but the service was amazing. They make your food right every time piping hot. Always quick and efficient. No missing ingredients.”

But lately, they have been messing up every single one of our orders. Over a span of several months. Husband had chicken parmigiana and loved his. Son had gyro plate and devoured his. Entire meal was totally awesome. We have been going for years and never a bad meal.”
