“Edit - We only tried one dish but will go back to try others. - My daughter and I were craving homemade tamales so we stopped by to see if they had any to sell. I speak a little Spanish but get nervous trying to speak conversationally. The lady who was working suggested the translation app and we were able to get it done. She was extremely nice and helpful. The store was clean and neat. We are both new to the different varieties and styles of tamales and we really wanted El Salvador style tamales. We ordered tamales and they were wrapped in a green plant leaf, not a corn husk. The masa was delicious but I didn't like the flavor the green leaves gave them. The inside was good but too spicy for my taste. We will definitely go back and try a different dish and get some fresh bread. The location is off the main streets and the signs are all in Spanish but do not let that stop you from giving this mom and pop bakery a try. They are extremely kind and helpful and I can't wait to go back.”

“Food was tasty and served hit. The brought out the food as it was cooked instead of waiting for everyone's to be ready. This made sure everyone had hit food. The salad bar was very enjoyable. There server took our orders promptly and kept our drinks filled. We will try this local restaurant again.”

“Going out to eat with a 2yr can be overwhelming, but when we went there was only one other couple eating. I tried my best to keep my daughter context, but inevitably she wanted to walk around calling out colors to the decorations on the ceiling. She ended up having the waitress along with the cooking staff dancing with her to the Mariachi music playing. They were so amazing with her! Oh, but let’s not forget the important part, THE FOOD. My chorizo tacos were amazing, and my daughter ate up her food (that was on a plate that wasn’t hot!) and my husband seemed to enjoy his massive burrito. We will be back!!”

“Very good tasting food delivered quickly and to order. My only complaint was the soda machine. I wanted Sprite but some dark soda kept coming out also. Then I tried the Coke and it was all fizzy. Staff was very friendly and patient with a difficult customer after me. Restaurant and bathroom were clean and well stocked.”

“First time at this location. The menu is similar to the larger Calera location. Food was good and consistent across both places. The only difference we felt was that the rice was not as good here. It was a bit on the plain side. However, the overall prices seemed less for a very similar experience. Would recommend.”
