“We ate here before the A day game this past weekend and it was, hands down, one of the very best meals we have had in a long time. Home cookin at its finest - served up by some of the nicest people you could meet. Rare to find fantastic food AND service these days - this place has both. If we lived nearby, we would be regulars. It will be a "have to" stop anytime we are coming through T-Town.”

“Sarah did a phenomenal job making the cakes for our wedding! We had a vanilla almond bride’s cake and a chocolate groom’s cake — both of which were as delicious as they were beautiful. The designs aligned perfectly to my vision with the bride’s cake featuring vintage piping and the groom’s cake paying homage to my husband’s college and graduate schools. We received countless compliments from our family and friends, and multiple people told us that these were the best wedding cakes they’d ever had. Sarah was professional, creative, and wonderful to work with. We couldn’t be happier!”

“First time coming here and it was EXCELLENT!!!! Very very good. The service was EXCELLENT. The portions were extremely satisfying for the price. Cocktails were delicious and strong. We had the Ribeye, Burger, Wings, Fried Green Tomatoes and Bread Pudding… EVERY SINGLE BITE AMAZING all the way down to the broccoli! So glad to have found this gem in a town where food is typically mediocre. The owner Hunter was such a joy to interact with and we felt like family. HURRY UP AND COME ON DOWN 69 SOUTH!!!!! Their food is made extremely well (coming from a picky eater), the workers are always nice even when you can see that they’re tired, and I’ve never seen the place dirty. I decided to write a review after this long was because of my experience today. I ordered my typical order, but asked for only brown sugar on the grape salad. When I tell you- they UNDERSTOOD the assignment! Just wanted to thank them for being kind in tiny ways😁👍”

“I love having Dockside open up Hwy 43 to give us another option for dinner close to home! If you haven’t tried the fried shrimp or the catfish, you’re definitely missing out! There’s just something extra about the breading that had me eating ALL my shrimp and not sharing with my husband! 🤣 Highly recommend checking it out!”

“The place is absolutely amazing the service was great and they were SO nice. The food was so good, I loved it SO much. I got a cheeseburger, and boneless wings, the patty was made to perfection. The chicken was so great and perfect. The fries are so good! I loved how they asked if I wanted seasoning or not, obviously I said yes and it made it even better! Please go eat here it is so good!”

“My coworker and I tried it for the first time today. I swear the food was what you would get in a Stouffer’s TV dinner! I got hamburger steak. My coworker ordered Salisbury steak. Both were the same meat. Like some kind of mystery meat. And don’t get me started on the “Mac and cheese”. Terrible!!”

“Hot&sour soup was good & so was the Mongolian beef & the sweet & sour chicken! It was really good and the only complaint I have is I need a little more sweet & sour sauce 😆 other than that it's totally worth it. Does need some veggies thrown in though. My favorite is Pearl Garden and this is just below that. Only place I've found that has similar soup.”

“Chick-fil-A is known for consistent quality, and the new Northport location is no exception when it comes to fresh, hot food and gracious service. Every order I’ve placed has been spot-on—crispy chicken, hot waffle fries, and perfectly prepared breakfast items like chicken biscuits and hash browns. The staff is friendly, welcoming, and never misses a “my pleasure.”

That said, the speed of service has felt a little off during my recent visits. The drive-thru lines can get long (as expected), but even once you’re in line or at the window, the rhythm sometimes feels clunky. It’s not chaotic—just slower than what I’ve come to expect from other Chick-fil-A locations. This might be due to it being a newer store still finding its groove, and I want to give grace for that.

What stands out is the team’s attitude. Even when it’s busy or a bit delayed, they don’t rush interactions or skip on courtesy. That professionalism matters and makes the wait a little more tolerable. I can see this store improving with time and training—and I’ll definitely keep returning, especially since the food quality hasn’t missed a beat.

Overall, it’s a solid addition to the Northport area. Once they tighten the flow a bit, it’ll match the excellence Chick-fil-A fans have come to expect.”

“we have dined at this restaurant a few times in the past and the food was good. But on Friday April 26 2025 we ordered the Dos Amigos special and the shrimp in the dish was spoiled and rotten. The shrimp had a overpowering fishy smell and taste and this is usually a indication that he shrimp is spoiled. Once i informed the staff they offered to take the charge off ,but never did i was still charged for the stinky rotten disgusting shrimp and food! 🤢🤮🤢🤮”

“Estimated time for pickup said 7-12 minutes. I ordered at 5:39pm. I got there at 6:28pm, and they said it would be 15 more minutes. I finally got my order at 6:50pm. Normally they are good on Estimated times and I always wait an extra 10 minutes before I show up just in case. But tonight was horribly wrong. Estimated pickup was an hour off.”

“I ate here a couple years ago and hated it, but decided to go back today and I am in love. We got the smokehouse quesadilla, ribs, bbq baker, and banana pudding and everything was so amazing! The atmosphere is very nice and clean, and service was great. I got to speak to the general manager and she was so kind and lovely, as well as our server, Landon. We’ll definitely be back.”
