“Catfish Charlie has the best Catfish. Cooked just right. I have a cousin who will drive from Virginia just to get their Catfish and hushpuppies. And will eat your Catfish 3 or 4 times while they are here.”

“Their combo specials are great! So far we've tried the honey chicken, fried rice, steamed rice, sesame chicken, chicken with broccoli, and the egg rolls. The lady who runs the store has been very kind, and she even recognized me after only two visits. We'll definitely keep coming back.”

“The flavor choices are exceptional! I don't eat much sugar at all, but this place is worth the splurge every once in a while. The Ferrero Rocher is absolutely amazing, along with the cream cheese, Pina colada, cappuccino... It's so hard to choose every time. But I always get the Ferrero Rocher. I only wish they had a cup that was half the size of the small. The small is a good value ($4.99 at time of review) but I can't comfortably eat that much without my stomach hurting. In the future, my daughter and I will probably split a small.”

“I love having Dockside open up Hwy 43 to give us another option for dinner close to home! If you haven’t tried the fried shrimp or the catfish, you’re definitely missing out! There’s just something extra about the breading that had me eating ALL my shrimp and not sharing with my husband! 🤣 Highly recommend checking it out!”

Their food is made extremely well (coming from a picky eater), the workers are always nice even when you can see that they’re tired, and I’ve never seen the place dirty. I decided to write a review after this long was because of my experience today. I ordered my typical order, but asked for only brown sugar on the grape salad. When I tell you- they UNDERSTOOD the assignment! Just wanted to thank them for being kind in tiny ways😁👍”

“Broadway Pizzeria catered a Birthday Party for us last night & EVERYTHING was DELICIOUS!!! The food was delivered to our door hot & on time!! We had 2 pans of Chicken Alfredo, 2 orders of Cheese Sticks & Garlic Knots!! We fed 10 teenage girls and had TONS OF LEFTOVERS. The pizzas are amazing too - handmade & woodfired!!! ( just don’t skip out on the pastas🤤) Thank you Broadway Pizzeria! BIG SPECIAL THANK YOU to Anna for catering & setting up!!!”

“What a beautiful location!!! This is what a coffee shop is supposed to be!!! The environment set the bar really high for me then the beverages took it to the next level! I enjoyed a Larch themed lucky charm latte, she was able to use no sugar sweeteners and make it with almond milk and even added my hazelnut syrup after I stated I love hazelnut. I then tried a strawberry matcha.. it was sooooo refreshing!!!! I had no clue what to expect but it was yummmy and had real strawberries in it!! “The place is absolutely amazing the service was great and they were SO nice. The food was so good, I loved it SO much. I got a cheeseburger, and boneless wings, the patty was made to perfection. The chicken was so great and perfect. The fries are so good! I loved how they asked if I wanted seasoning or not, obviously I said yes and it made it even better! Please go eat here it is so good!”

“My coworker and I tried it for the first time today. I swear the food was what you would get in a Stouffer’s TV dinner! I got hamburger steak. My coworker ordered Salisbury steak. Both were the same meat. Like some kind of mystery meat. And don’t get me started on the “Mac and cheese”. Terrible!!”

“I met one of the sweetest ladies at this location. She's always there when I stop by and we talk about food, kids and Jesus. I don't know her name but she's a Gigi with more grand babies on the way. Good food, but even better service”

“we have dined at this restaurant a few times in the past and the food was good. But on Friday April 26 2025 we ordered the Dos Amigos special and the shrimp in the dish was spoiled and rotten. The shrimp had a overpowering fishy smell and taste and this is usually a indication that he shrimp is spoiled. Once i informed the staff they offered to take the charge off ,but never did i was still charged for the stinky rotten disgusting shrimp and food! 🤢🤮🤢🤮”

“We’ve been in Tuscaloosa several years but I’m not a huge BBQ fan (I’ve lived in too many BBQ towns, KC, Memphis, etc and had it all) but BBQ is the hubby’s absolute fave, so we visited Dreamland this weekend because it’d been awhile. Honestly, as someone who was not looking forward to eating BBQ anywhere, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it! I had the BBQ baker - if you’ve had a similar dish at Jim n Nicks, it’s not nearly as good as the one I had at Dreamland. Also, dipping white bread in BBQ sauce that was warm and fresh was unexplainably good. Hubby was super happy with the ribs and our teenager enjoyed the sausage plate and said the okra was almost as good as his Mimi’s ;) (that’s a high bar folks, she’s a pro). Service was quick and friendly. I won’t be nearly as hesitant to eat BBQ next time the hubby asks!”

“It is a real treat to go to McAlister's deli and this location proved to be great! The food was delicious and very filling, and the staff was friendly and helpful. We had the choose two meal - what a fantastic deal for fresh and tasty food! Will definitely go back next time we are in town!”

“Wow. What an absolutely amazing establishment. From the great mulch job as well as well taken care of shrubs, this really set the tone for the meal. We were immediately sat and had our order taken about 30 seconds, and it was busy! The server was amazing and the crew was really going hard at work in the kitchen to keep this ship sailing. Food was out super fast and it was amazing. I can confidently say this is the best Waffle House I have ever been to in my entire life. Bravo.”

“Estimated time for pickup said 7-12 minutes. I ordered at 5:39pm. I got there at 6:28pm, and they said it would be 15 more minutes. I finally got my order at 6:50pm. Normally they are good on Estimated times and I always wait an extra 10 minutes before I show up just in case. But tonight was horribly wrong. Estimated pickup was an hour off.”

“The worker Heidi is AMAZING. She ran the driver thru, made the orders perfect and answered the phone line the first ring. She made our banana splits as if she knew us personally. She didn't want our order to melt so she took the time to put the warm sauce on the side without requesting. Thanks for your great customer service!!!!”
