“This is my favorite restaurant in the Birmingham area. I almost always get the fish of the day, served on a grit cake with a cream sauce. Delicious every time!”

“Wow what a great Chicken tender restaurant Dave's Hot Chicken is.
I'll start with the food. I ordered the #1 which is two tenders fries coleslaw and toast. I was hesitant that the portion size was only two tenders but I was PLEASANTLY SURPRIZED by the size of these tenders. 1 tender from Dave's is equal to like 3 tenders from other chains. The 2 tender meal was very satiating and filling. The tenders themselves were freshly cooked, crunchy on the outside and oh so juicy on the inside... literally PERFECT. The fries were crispy and seasoned very well and the special Dave's sauce was great, they gave me 2 extra sauce packets of it and i ate it all.
The service was really good, the employees were nice and professional but also friendly. This was my first time visiting Dave's and the cashier told me about the spice levels. I got mild which was perfect, not hot to make your nose drip but instead it was a nice small kick.
I know a lotta reviews show the inside of the restaurant which is done up really nice BUT the music was WAYYY too loud.”

“Lunch was so yummy! I had the rice bowl with gyro meat and everything was fresh and the flavors were on point. Sometimes gyro meat can be dry, but not at this place. The meat was so juicy and flavorful. The service was also really good, as well. I recommend checking them out.”

“I had an amazing time here with my husband here on Saturday. We pass it often and decided to finally to sit down for lunch. The young lady that took our order was knowledgable about customer favorites and patient as we looked over the menu. Her suggestions were helpful in us making our selection. We opted to sit at the bar where Aaron greeted us and made us feel comfortable and very welcome. He was happy to answer our questions about the frozen drinks. I really liked the bushwhacker and the margarita. I can't wait until they get more strawberry puree, but the grenadine added was very good. I have to also give a shout-out to Jay who happens to be a manager. He was so funny and social! We ended up staying longer and ordering more because of his amazing customer service. Needless to say, we will be visiting again and telling our friends about it as well.”

“I have celiac disease and lactose intolerance and seriously cannot recommend this place enough. The staff is very knowledgeable about cross contact. They even have a separate oven for gluten free pizzas! Every pizza on the menu could be made gluten/dairy free. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. I will be coming here regularly!”

“We have visited Sunshine Creamery twice this summer and both times it was PACKED! Each worker behind the counter was so kind and patient with everyone. They were efficient even with the large crowds. The inside is clean and perfect for families. We love having this little treat spot in our neighborhood!”

“Visited my favorite ice cream shop today. If you need a little pick-me-up or a dose of pure joy, I highly recommend visiting Unless U Scoops any weekday between 1:00 p.m. 5:00 p.m. And the ice cream is pretty awesome also!”

“Went for lunch, got the hot shot pizza, a meatball stromboli, and tiramisu. The portion sizes were huge, the food was loaded with meat and everything absolutely delicious! One of the best textured and flavored pizza crusts I’ve ever had. The tiramisu was fabulous.
I’d absolutely recommend trying them out! I know I’ll be coming back.”

“Slice is by far the best pizza I’ve ever had anywhere! I’ve had pizza in New York, Chicago and anywhere known for good pizza. Nothing else comes close! When I’m around Birmingham I always try to make time to go to one of their locations. Today I went to the one in Vestavia. The pizza was great and so was the service.”
