Professional chef or cook, the food was BETTER than most parks (theme parks, zoos, etc...) and the staff was extremely friendly and helpful EVENTHOUGH the place was crawling with kids.
I'll do the middle on stars. They were busy with a kid group and they all got burgers and chips which was pretty neat. But I ordered a basket of fries and it was a very small portion of fries. It was about as much as a kids meal with fries and they were under cooked. As a professional cook myself I understand being busy and trying to get food out but quality over quantity. I'm surprised our zoo can afford to have such a nice place to eat at. I was impressed by how good my hamburger/fries and sweet tea was. And how good they keep it clean looking. I think ill start coming here to eat 2-3x a month.
