“We flew from Charlotte, NC to Springfield, MO and drove to Mountain Home, AK just to eat here and we were not disappointed. The food was great, the staff was fun! We had a good time! If you haven't had gator, this is the place to try it!”

“Got the recommendation to go here at a nearby gas station as we were passing through the area. Great tip! The food was exceptional and so reasonably priced. Service was great. A unique setting and atmosphere and very clean. I will say some of the background music playing was obtrusively bad but the great meal overcame that. We had the chicken fried chicken with mashed potatoes and white gravy (best ever!), and the Ozark chicken plate. That's a grilled chicken breast with cheese, bacon, tomato and avocado on it. A side of grilled broccolini was included which was wonderful. Huge portions. Just a great meal!
We have pinned this place on our travel planner anytime we travel in this area.”

“Several of my friends said this was the best BBQ in North Central Arkansas and they were very correct. This was our first visit but it won’t be the last. The pulled pork sandwich was one of the best, if not the very best I’ve had anywhere in this country. Very delicious and the fries were definitely the best I’ve had in a very long time.”

“9th Street is my "go to" place. Chef Bill and the waitresses are like family to me. The food is great and you get a LOT of it. I can't think of one thing on the menu I don't like! He comes up with fabulous home made soups and great desserts, which is handy to take home for later. If you want a friendly atmosphere where nobody is a stranger, you have to check it out.”

“Every time we come to town we have to stop at Cove Coffee. All of the baristas are very helpful and friendly. It’s a nice place with indoor and outdoor seating, to accommodate a relaxing conversation with friends. Justice and I had a nice discussion over syrups and cold brew. It’s a breath of fresh air when you have someone working that knows coffee. Love the selection!”

“Affordable prices, larger space. A bit away from the square to so not as crowded for the morning rush (a huge plus). It's way more open, and they serve coffee or alcohol which is unique to this area.

Parking is usually easier as well, with a big lot off the street. The other businesses here are axe throwing, arcade, roller rink, shops, it's pretty neat.

Lastly, they have a stage and big sound, so we'd love to catch local artists, stand up, etc. Is there a newsletter or X? Because we're not on Facebook.”

“IMHO this is right at the top of the list. The best Chili Relleno I have eaten since moving to Missouri from Arizona. The service is great and the prices are reasonable. I'm just sorry I can only eat there about once a month. My only complaint is the beans which are a bit runny. But that is only my opinion. The rice is some of the best I have eaten, while the food has the right amount of heat for me, not too spicy with good flavor.”

“This is my favorite coffee in town. It's smooth without a twanginess. When I get their white chocolate mocha (my fave ?), I don't feel like I'm drinking a hot milkshake. It's an even taste between flavor and coffee. The coffee black is great as well. It's never cold. The service is always exceptional.”

“My wife and I ate at Jamie's today. We had a most delicious tenderloin. It was one of the best I have had in a long time. They call it Bigger Than a Bun Tenderloin. It would take 4 buns to hold that delicious piece of meat. Then we at a piece of White and Dark Chocolate Cheese Cake drizzled in raspberry syrup. It was simply a delicious meal served by an extremely pleasant and attentive staff.”

“We enjoyed the food and atmosphere. The wait staff was great and food came out promptly. I was, however, disappointed to find out that the mens restroom didn’t have a baby changing station. My husband had to change baby girl’s diaper on the floor. In this day and age I’d expect mens restrooms to have a changing station. Men change diapers too…”

“Hole in the wall in a strip mall. Good food great staff and nice atmosphere. Had breakfast and it was done right. The place was busy and the staff was right on top of it. My breakfast came cooked to perfection and was well portioned. I will go again and will recommend to others.”

Easy to befriend fellow diners, or bring a party and combine tables. Specialties: Catfish, tomato relish, hush puppies, B&G. Table(art) feature a map of the local lakes, fish specie, some ads. Other aesthetics change seasonally.”

“We love having dinner here! On our last trip we got our normal. App stuffed mushrooms ( used to be presented differently. It was much prettier, also it used to be 4 mushrooms cut in half. Now it’s 3. Sadly the same price) I have teriyaki chicken with soup and salad. It was awesome. He has 3-4 sushi rolls. They were great also. Definitely give them a try”

“We just attended a meeting in the big room at Ole Mill Tavern. The staff was very friendly, very helpful and everything was wonderful.”

“The smaller the group, the easier it is to get in and get a table- especially on a Friday or Saturday night. The waitress knew the menu and was attentive to the table. The steak was cooked correctly, and she checked to make sure we were happy with it prior to leaving us to our meal.”
