From the food to the service, everything was absolutely sensational.Justin was very knowledgeable with the wine selection and provided us with the best service I had to this day. This is probably the best restaurant I have visited in Phoenix. The food was so amazing I didn't get a picture of everything and had to taste it right away. Thanks Anhelo for a phenomenal experience !“

“Raven was amazing. She is super kind and her customer service was optimal. It was pretty busy this morning but my family was seated within 10 minutes and she was so fast at getting anything we asked for. I'm so grateful. Give her a promotion!Kid-friendliness: I'm a single mother of three young children with high needs and special needs. I felt very comfortable and my children were very happy. At a lot of other restaurants I have some anxiety and that wasn't the case here.“

“Had dinner and drinks this evening, set at the bar and the bartender on duty was very plain and as soon I order my food and 1 drink, I felt pressure by the way she ask me if I wanted to close my tap. I been staying here for the last 3 weeks from Wednesday through Saturday weekly and is the first time I felt uncomfortable when having dinner on the premises. I was fortune David showed up and took over part of the bar and started making my drinks and food. Had 4 Mules , 2 tacos and Calamari. Thanks David the drinks were ?? . But overall, the experience and the food is great!!“

“We came in for drinks and I had the Lobster Bisque, my friend ordered the Mac and cheese to go (creamy and delicious even heated up later that evening). The Bisque is smooth and delicious. Light and not overly filling. The ambiance is romantic. Also perfect for after work cocktails. Our waitress was friendly and knowledgeable.“

“I’ve never had a bad meal from here. Everything is wonderful! Personally one of my favorite restaurants in the valley. The short ribs and cast iron chicken are some of my favorites. I feel like this restaurant is often overlooked but I have no idea why, I think it should be a top spot for everyone. The food is excellent, the service is always top notch, and it’s a beautiful space.“

“Outstanding flavors and presentation. You really do taste with your eyes here, but it's something you're not scared to dive into. And happy you did! Love the plate sizes. My friend and I shared 2 items and a dessert. This was oerfect, we were satisfied but not stuffed. The desserts were not listed the options below because I believe they change, but they are heavenly. They can be refreshing or decadent!“

“Awesome atmosphere. The service is impeccable and the food is great but the drinks we ordered were not very good. But they also did the right thing and comped them upon letting them know as we pivoted to the wine options. I would definitely go back again and recommend.“

“My husband brought me here for my birthday yesterday and we had a great experience! The pesto is amazing, as were our entrees, drinks, and dessert. The customer service was fantastic. Our flatbread took a few minutes too long due to kitchen error (we didn’t even notice that it was taking a while) and the manager comped a round of drinks and the flatbread. We couldn’t recommend this restaurant more, and we will definitely be returning!“

“This is the kind of place you need to return to multiple times, because there's no way to try everything in one go! We had the spicy Mac and cheese burger, the Tony Montana, and the Hot Dog. The fries were so good, I kept eating them even though I was full. The drinks looked great but we didn't get to try them. I have to come back some day if not only to try the PB&J Burger!Parking: A parking corral is on the other side of the adjacent building. We went at an unexpected peak time (3pm on Sunday). We still managed to luck out and find a spot in the shade.“

“Of course the environment is what it is. Great views. Beyond that it’s a cool atmosphere. Decent beer selection and decent liquor options. Service was friendly and quick. The fried mozzarella was tasty and more than I expected as far as quantity. I had the fish and chips and wow, the fish was so flaky it was delicious. So good. House made tartar sauce was a good decision. Plenty of televisions. Great place to visit.“

“Drinks: I ordered a gin fizz and it come over ice with an orange garnish; I decided to let this indecency slide as they are not a cocktail house.Food: (1) Crispy Pork Belly: SUBLIME and unctuous; don't neglect the sweet potato cake on which it sits to make the perfect bite with kimchi. (2) Crab Cakes: Plump and fresh. I usually avoid seafood when not by the sea, but this proves that some desert spots still keep their seafood fare on point. (3) The Original Chopped Salad: It is large enough split and the ingredients/textures all balance wonderfully.Dessert: Banana Foster Bread Pudding - Disappointing. It was dense and lacked really any banana nuance. And it's extremely large for a dessert. I prefer simple and small for sweet bites with actual distinct flavor.Overall, I would absolutely return for their starters and mains. I would skip dessert and keep my drink simple (a gin fizz is not complicated, though) or perhaps just order from their cocktail list to ensure accurate delivery requirements. While tables are nicely spaced, as the evening wanes on it can get quite loud for conversation.“

“This is EASILY one of the best places in Phoenix. The patio is such a great vibe - especially with the nice weather we have been having. I am a huge fan of the cheddar potatoes. I tried something new today (the matador) and it exceeded my expectations. The service here is also the best I e ever experienced. Nathan always has a huge smile on his face and make me feel like I belong. He’s always joyful and quick with his work. I feel like he can read my mind sometimes ?“

“Walked to the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed the experience sitting outside on the patio (although the traffic on University was noisy at times). The Carnitas Tacos were very good with the spicy pear and cream sauce while the side sweet potato fries were perfectly light and crispy. The tacos menu item came with two tacos--a third taco addition option would be nice. The Mushroom Melt was a coin flip. Kids menu items were good. There's also a nice beer list available with some local brews on tap.Service was attentive and accommodating. A very nice experience overall.“

“First time here. Stopped for breakfast. Easy to find this restaurant and plenty of parking. We were greeted the second we walked in. The restaurant was busy but we were seated quickly. Janette was our server and she was awesome. Our breakfast was hot and delicious. I ordered the 2 egg breakfast with corned beef hash. Husband ordered two egg breakfast with beef patty. We shared the pancake and it was the best we have ever had. Everything tasted great! Came out fast and Janette was right on top of coffee refills before we could even ask. Clean restaurant and fair prices. Will visit again soon.“

“Drink were great, friendly bar staff, delicious appetizers. I gave it 3 stars for the atmosphere because the music was so loud during their dinner rush that it made it hard to have a conversation. Other than that, it wasn't my first time there, and it won't be my last.“

“The experience was great! Meat Lovers will enjoy this!! Vegetarians need to keep searching. We were/are looking for a chef that prepares the entire menu with the intention of serving a vegetarian. We enjoyed a 10 course menu (Requested a Vegetarian menu upon booking). While the food was great and the service was great, we could not help feeling like we were just an afterthought. Unfortunately, they served every meal and said "in lieu of meat, this dish blah blah blah". If I order a meal without meat, I don't feel the need to be told repeatedly about the meat (that would have been in the dish)! For me personally that is not a way to introduce a meal to a vegetarian. In the end, we felt they were too dependent on the animal products to showcase their dishes. The overall experience was fantastic. We appreciate the care taken. Just felt the need to share since this is an important and ever-growing requirement for many customers.“

“One of the better First Watch locations in my opinion, food is cooked right and the service is good. Also helps that they get people in an out pretty quick. Easy option if you're looking for brunch. “Randy’s is a family-friendly restaurant with a good solid menu of popular dishes and comfort food. I usually go there for breakfast or brunch, and the omelets, breakfast sandwiches, and skillets are all good. They have a wide variety of burgers, sandwiches, and dinners too.Parking: It’s in a strip mall with a Safeway and other businesses, so the parking lot is quite large.Kid-friendliness: It’s definitely kid-friendly, and even pet-friendly on the patio. “On the ragged fringes of the Arizona State University campus, amidst the academic purgatory that separates the enlightened from the mundane, there exists a beacon of carnivorous indulgence and liquid ecstasy - The Hudson Eatery & Bar. This isn't just another pit stop in the educational desert; it's an oasis of excess in a land of scholarly drought. As I swaggered through the doors of this hedonistic haven, situated just a stone's throw from the hallowed halls of academia, I was immediately struck by its whimsical spirit. The place was a beacon for the two-wheeled nomads of the road, with bike racks standing as iron-clad sentinels at the front, and a sign proudly declaring their love for bikers. It was a bold middle finger to the conventional, a sanctuary for those living on the edge.Inside, the walls erupted in a psychedelic display of graffiti murals, each a testament to a world unchained by the mundane. Mystical creatures and fantastical realms adorned every corner, speaking of a place unbound by the laws of reality. It was like stepping into a dream, a vivid, surreal escape from the monotonous drumbeat of university life.Let's talk about the Boom Boom Burger that doesn't just whisper seduction but screams it from the rooftops. We start with a bun - not just any bun, but a hearty, robust one that promises to stand up to the onslaught of flavors it's tasked to hold. Then come the twin titans of beef, two smashed patties grilled to a perfect char, oozing with the kind of primal, meaty juiciness that makes your heart beat a little faster. Each patty is adorned with a layer of melted cheddar cheese – rich, creamy, and unapologetically.Next up, the sautéed mushrooms. These are the kind of mushrooms that have been kissed by the pan just long enough to bring out a deep, earthy flavor, adding a layer of complexity that elevates the burger from great to mind-blowing.Let's not forget the bacon. Thick-cut, because if you're going to do bacon, you do it right. It's smoky, it's salty, echoing through your soul with every chew. The house sauce – it's the tie that binds, the secret handshake of this culinary club. It's tangy, slightly sweet, with a hint of mystery that keeps you guessing and, more importantly, keeps you coming back for more.Beneath the robust assembly of flavors, a bed of lettuce and tomato, fresh and crisp. They're not just garnishes; they're the cool, crunchy counterpoint to the rich, savory symphony above. This burger isn't just a meal; it's a journey. It's a bold statement in a world of mediocre sandwiches. It's the kind of burger that haunts your dreams, in the best possible wayThe staff, with their uncanny ability to appear at just the right moment, were not mere employees; they were the silent orchestrators of a dining experience. In essence, The Hudson Eatery & Bar is more than a bar on the outskirts of ASU. It's a haven for the wild-hearted, a retreat for those who seek refuge in the extraordinary, here you can seek the pleasures of food and drink. It's a place I'll return to, again and again, each visit indulging in edible and liquid delight.“

“Just had lunch at Karsen's Grill. We're visiting from SoCal, here for Spring Training. Walking around Old Town Scottsdale, we stumbled upon Karsen's, and while looking at the menu outside, a patron said, "This is our first time here, but the food is excellent." So, we went in. She was right!! I got the salmon Caesar salad-they 86'd the blackened for me, and my husband got the shrimp tacos, also minus the blackened. Excellent food, fabulous friendly servers! Sam and Rocky are the best!! If you are in Old Town Scottsdale, definitely hit Karsen's Grill for lunch before your game!“

“Although the interior is so charming as to warrant an impromptu tour, the terrace was perfect on a beautiful evening. All dishes were fantastic - our group finished every crumb, from appetizers to main dishes to desserts. For main dishes, the cassoulet was authentic and delicious; the Middle-Eastern Stuffed Eggplant was delicious and beautifully presented on the plate; and the Barramundi stole the show -- a really exceptional plate of fish. Desserts: the Tiramisu was quite good, as was the orange cake, but the bread pudding is a guilty pleasure so tasty and excessive in size that it should be illegal. Service was expert and charming. Great place when you are with friends with something to celebrate or lots to talk about, so that you can linger over cocktails, appetizers, main dishes, and desserts at an unhurried pace.“

“We held our rehearsal dinner in the private event room and then opened the event up for all guests to come have a drink later in the evening. The food was great and the service was amazing. I'm sure it was overwhelming for our server having so many people there, especially since we were mostly mingling instead of sitting, but she never let it show and absolutely crushed it. We got so many compliments on the service and how fun the event was. If you ever want a casual, fun private event I definitely recommend Fate!“

“Really good, especially the protein pancakes! We got the half and half, and I'm so full I won't have to eat for a week! Which is good, since it cost half of what I'd spend on groceries for a week! When reviews say it's pricey... Believe them. (But, really... What isn't any more? ??)“

“Mmm… the photo does not do the experience justice. Groovy Snooze, in the heart of the city's student district, is a nice escape from the golf and cowboy hat-wearing folks closer to the city. Tempe is a land of nose-piercing progressivism, yet this place offers everything for the discriminating vegan or carnivore. For me, the delight was the habanero pork belly bacon - four spicy, thick bits of pig that balanced splendidly with the sweet pineapple upside-down pancakes. One serving was enough for me, and it was served in a creamy cinnamon sauce with a dollop of cinnamon butter in the middle. All so good! Our friendly waiter kept the coffee mugs and water glasses filled. It's a way better option than the chains, and the prices are around the same.“

“4 stars for the food. 3 stars for the service, as they absolutely needed either more staff or more motivated staff. The woman that was the cashier was working her butt off running the cash register, being the hostess AND bussing tables. Meanwhile, many servers walked past us for several minutes after we walked in and didnt offer to seat us. This poor woman is over here doing 3 jobs (or more) while new customers walked in (like us) and was too busy cashing people out to seat us. Totally not her fault. But when you have lots of servers walking around doing not much, they should've easily helped her out and sat tables. That being said the food was good, onion rings ON POINT. I also love when restaurants will give you to-go cups with refill beverages when you leave. It's a typical no-frills diner which is honestly what I loved about it. Husband said his burger was also good. We will be back to try their huge breakfast menu.Kid-friendliness: Typical diner food, so plenty of kid friendly options“

“Phoenix and Scottsdale have been hitting home runs lately with high end restaurants that have amazing ambience, delicious food and unique experiences. On the top of that list for Phoenix is Wren & Wolf. I am blown away by the incorporation of taxidermy into modern decor. The drinks are delicious especially the Shishito one with tequila. “Truly exceptional. They have nailed the upscale tasting menus. There are plenty of add ons, but zero pressure to upsell anything. Each course features a couple of different options, ensuring there's something you'd like to eat. Usually with these types of restaurants there are multiple selections you don't want. It's beautifully tucked away near Old Town. Will be back!“
