“First, this restaurant is small but not too small. It’s extremely clean from tables to cutlery. The menus are beautiful as well as helpful if you are new to these dishes. The staff were so friendly and helpful with recommendations. It is wheel chair accessible which is so important to how I rate any establishment. To start we order Chili Dumplings and cucumber salad. These dumplings were absolutely delicious!! If that was the only thing I ate that day I would have left happy. Light & airy with the perfect amount of spice. The filling was perfectly seasoned. Cucumber salad was super refreshing with light garlic oil dressing. I took it home and even the next day it still had that beautiful crunchy texture. We also ordered Pork Wonton Noodle Soup and Seafood Wonton Noodle Soup. The pork in the noodle soup was delicious and fresh. The wontons are such a good size and the filling was so tender and delicious. The noodles!!! Wow just wow!! We loved the noodles in both soups. The seafood soup was incredible!! I lived in Australia for 2 yrs and I have never had anything even come close to the wonton noodle soup until now!!! It had shrimp, crab meat and squid. Everything was cooked perfectly!!! Squid is something that can be overcooked so easily and this soup was exceptional. All the seafood from the wontons to the shrimp etc was so fresh not fishy at all!!We ordered some Baos and honestly we both were stuffed we ended up sharing one and eaten the rest the next day. They were light and fluffy and cooked to perfection.I highly recommend Happy Bao’s and we will be coming back soon!!Parking: Free parking located outside Mekong PlazaKid-friendliness: Staff is so kind and friendly. Menu has so many options even for a picky eater.Wheelchair accessibility: The entire restaurant is accessible no matter where you sit.“
“Yummm! As featured on Fox 10 and 3 tv. Since my Lady loves empanadas, I had to try. They have a chicken mushroom, delicious! Elote really popped! Because I'm a jalapeno popper kinda guy, I had to taste. Did not disappoint! So many others, I will return to try there platters and them drinks.“
“After hearing about Make a Mac on Facebook, I knew i had to swing by and try it out. The first thing that really surprised me was the pricing. Everything is under $10 and the portion size is great. Do you know how hard it is to find something filling from a drive through for under $10?The other thing that surprised me was how accommodating the menu was to anyone with dietary restrictions. Gluten Free, Keto Friendly, Vegan, and even Celiac friendly. I don't have any restrictions and I just got the Owners Favorite, but I imagine it's really hard for people with diet restrictions to find something good when eating out. Good for the owners for putting in the time and effort to plan all of that out.I had a decent commute home but the food was still hot when I got home and it tasted amazing. I was unsure about the pesto on the Owner's Favorite but it made the bowl come together.Really great place and if you're in the area, give it a try!“
“Best meal I've had here and I've been here at least 15 times... Fast and hot.. service was great... The young lady never gave her name but she was funny and sweet.... I was not happy with the apple pie... But I shouldn't eat that much sugar anyways.... The BBQ.. absolutely great.... Will again be back.. like in 2 to 3 “
“The gluten free options are great! Wings, extra crispy tater tot’s and nachos are my favorites. I love Andrea and all the staff! I love the events there and just love Augusta Ranch!! Thank you!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options are wonderful - not fried with other item ??“
“Went a few weeks ago & the waitress was hilarious. ? I asked to try an Arnold Palmer with the Prickly Pear Lemonade. She joked that it’s getting added to the menu as Arnold’s Prick. We were laughing every time the waitress came to the table. The food was outstanding. Look forward to going back soon!“
“I found one of my favorite little hole in the wall pub/restaurants. I went into JJ Madisons, here in Mesa, on St. Patrick's day. I decided to order a drink and grilled walleye dinner. Nothing fancy or stuffy about this place. If you just want to go relax away from the hustle and bustle, you should pop in and meet Wile E, the bartender, nice guy. Prices are decent too. Have a nice day everyone.~ Cindy S“
“Visiting for Denver this February '24 and dined here 2X. Each time was really very good. It's family owned for 19 years; the chef (s) are brothers and the waitstaff are sisters. Everything seems to be homemade, fresh...not stuff out of a can which almost all Chinese restaurants serve and tastes the same these days. For our soup, we shared the hot & sour which had the traditional spicy flavors but chock full of chicken, tofu and vegetables...almost a full meal by itself. The variety of menus choices are mind boggling and one has to wonder how they get most everything so right at such reasonable prices. If you order the larger portions of most any dish, be prepared to bring home the left-overs for a nice second meal or lunch. Our only regret in leaving Mesa for home, is that we won't be able to enjoy this lovely Asian Cafe on a regular basis.“
