Not only that, but she helped me take them out to my car. Sometimes I wonder how employees do not understand work ethics anymore, or even how to work. As I watch people standing around, and the manager or the owner of the franchise does everything, and in this case it was the same. I always found that the more I did to stay busy, the faster the day went. “Love this spot! Doughbird is perfect for a weeknight dinner out and is a crowd pleaser with a variety of solid menu items. Ambiance is both trendy and lowkey, good for family or casual date night. They have some fun quirky details, such as using a massive can of tomatoes for the pizza stand. Service was solid, waitress was sweet, attentive, and enthusiastic. Between three people we split 1) Simple caesar: as it states, it was your standard caesar. good portion size enough to feed 3 for a small appetizer salad 2) Sweet potato and brussel sprout pizza: LOVED this pizza. I appreciate how doughbird has such unique pies that you don't see elsewhere and they do them well. The roasted hearty vegetables paired super well with the herby ricotta, which added some brightness and soft texture. Would get this pizza again 3) Half rotisserie chicken, lemon garlic sauce and crinkle fries: Chicken had great flavor, nice crispy skin-quality rotisserie chicken. Got the lemon garlic dipping sauce which is delicious. It's essentially a lemon garlic butter which is so savory delicious with the chicken. My one complaint is that they would give you more sauce. The items listed above were a good amount of food for 3 people, had us full but not overly stuffed.“

“Visiting for Denver this February '24 and dined here 2X. Each time was really very good. It's family owned for 19 years; the chef (s) are brothers and the waitstaff are sisters. Everything seems to be homemade, fresh...not stuff out of a can which almost all Chinese restaurants serve and tastes the same these days. For our soup, we shared the hot & sour which had the traditional spicy flavors but chock full of chicken, tofu and vegetables...almost a full meal by itself. The variety of menus choices are mind boggling and one has to wonder how they get most everything so right at such reasonable prices. If you order the larger portions of most any dish, be prepared to bring home the left-overs for a nice second meal or lunch. Our only regret in leaving Mesa for home, is that we won't be able to enjoy this lovely Asian Cafe on a regular basis.“
“This is a new family favorite. My folks love the way it’s so flavorful and soft (they wear dentures so this is important). They especially love the sweet buns with the cheesecake filling with fruit (and of course they’re diabetic). It all tastes great even heated up as leftovers.I’m addicted to their coffee and the service is top notch and super friendly. I placed a to-go order on-line that included coffee. There were some desserts that were still in the oven when I got there so I sat on the comfy chair sipping my coffee as I waited and once it was ready to go, they topped off my 16 oz coffee that I just about finished. “First, this restaurant is small but not too small. It’s extremely clean from tables to cutlery. The menus are beautiful as well as helpful if you are new to these dishes. The staff were so friendly and helpful with recommendations. It is wheel chair accessible which is so important to how I rate any establishment.To start we order Chili Dumplings and cucumber salad. These dumplings were absolutely delicious!! If that was the only thing I ate that day I would have left happy. Light & airy with the perfect amount of spice. The filling was perfectly seasoned. Cucumber salad was super refreshing with light garlic oil dressing. I took it home and even the next day it still had that beautiful crunchy texture.We also ordered Pork Wonton Noodle Soup and Seafood Wonton Noodle Soup. The pork in the noodle soup was delicious and fresh. The wontons are such a good size and the filling was so tender and delicious. The noodles!!! Wow just wow!! We loved the noodles in both soups. The seafood soup was incredible!! I lived in Australia for 2 yrs and I have never had anything even come close to the wonton noodle soup until now!!! It had shrimp, crab meat and squid. Everything was cooked perfectly!!! Squid is something that can be overcooked so easily and this soup was exceptional. All the seafood from the wontons to the shrimp etc was so fresh not fishy at all!!We ordered some Baos and honestly we both were stuffed we ended up sharing one and eaten the rest the next day. “We met my sister here for lunch today as we wanted a little healthier lunch. I had received a code for a BOGO entree on Facebook; so we used this today. I had the forbidden poke bowl, Sis had the Quinoa bowl with shrimp and hubby had his favorite chopped salad with added chicken. Everything was tasty, my poke bowl had a nice kick to it and Sis loves her quinoa bowl. We had iced teas and Sis had a spritzer. Service was friendly and the meals came out super fast. “Their staff made me cry tonight... twice. My brother and I love this restaurant. Actually Famous Dave's is our favorite restaurant. My brother has had 24 surgeries in life. Due to extreme and violent tremors, he has been unable to brush his teeth for 15+ years; he would injure himself if he tries. So two thirds of his teeth are broken inside his gums. He is unable to feed himself. Tomorrow he will have his 25th surgery and two surgeons will work two shifts back to back and extract all of his teeth.I am really broke. Despite that I decided to bring my brother to this restaurant tonight in Chandler to enjoy his last real meal before tomorrow's surgery. For three months after that, he will not be able to eat solid food. We also invited our friend, a gentleman who lives in the same skilled nursing facility. He loves this restaurant too. Tonight's visit was our third one this year. The staff know us. It is very challenging to feed my brother. I have to hold his head tightly and place the food in his mouth rapidly because of his violent tremors.On entry their Manageress ran and kept the door open as I pushed my brother's wheelchair into the restaurant. I had to drive back to bring our friend. Two wheelchairs cannot fit in my car and they both need to be in the front seat. Again, the staff kept the door open for him to roll his wheelchair inside. We were late but the staff assured us it will be OK if we leave a bit late. They remember me. And my brother. And our friend.We ordered our food and it was awesome, as always. Delicious. Clean. Healthy. Just perfect food. Our server Erica and the Manageress Laura were extra attentive, as always. Kind beyond measure, as always. Then I asked for the bill. I saw $25 had been paid by cash towards our bill. I asked Erica what was that? With a humility that is reserved for the elite Angels of our Lord, she said someone from another table had paid the money. I realized this was her own doing or that of the Manageress. I began to cry in face of the greatness of these spiritual giants. They owe us nothing and yet after they had showered us with such amazing hospitality, they paid towards our meal. I was overcome with awe. This was pure grace. I dropped off my brother and came back to pick up our friend. I walked in and loudly thanked the empty dining hall which had remained open only to keep our friend inside, after the closing time. Laura came out again and I said I cannot thank them enough. She showered me with such kind words....she made this 62 year old tough guy cry again.These staff have angelic qualities. I hope and pray - and I know - that an ample share of the blessings of God will surround each of their team members and of course will embrace Laura and Erica. They have left an indelible mark on me and I will forever remember their gracious kindness. Thank you.“
