“Excellent coffee, teas, and vegan munchies. Fun and imaginative drinks for any mood. Highly recommend trying any of their coffees or teas with their various flavored foams. The iced blueberry tea with blueberry foam is light, refreshing, and out of this world. Steep is also a warm and inviting place to come hang out and work. I am usually disappointed with vegan food offerings in coffee shops, but their breakfast sandy is delicious! The slaw in the sandy takes it over the top.“

“I've been on the hunt for a good coffee shop that does latte art and Window Coffee Bar has been a place that I've wanted to try for a while. I loved the service it was very fast and efficient. The staff is friendly. The girl did a good job on the latte art very beautiful and it was my first time trying it out. The decorations and vibe was also very nice and chill.“

“Valentine has been on my list for a long time so when we finally made it to Melrose for dinner we pulled no punches on our ordering. If we didn't get everything on the menu we were close. The restaurant itself is cute and delightfully photogenic which helps set the tone for a great meal. On the cocktail front, most were good. The only standout to me was the hatch chili margarita served in a glass boot which was as tasty as it was eye catching. Similarly, most of the food was above average with nothing being bad. The Elote pasta is the standout - it was outstanding. Basically this is a carbonara style pasta with Elote flavors instead of the traditional bacon. The execution on this dish is perfect. Prices are quite high for what you get on most dishes and cocktails and if there was more value, I'd likely have a better rating. That said, I'd return and I definitely would like to come back for pastries from the coffee bar if driving by in the AM.“

“Okay, this might be questionable but this was probably the best coffee cake I've had. I don't even think they make it there but where ever it came from it's delicious and paired perfectly with my vanilla latte. Service was great, and the outdoor swing and climbing vines are so cute and quaint. There's something whimsical about this shop, makes me want to come back for more!“

“Used to be a great place to hang out and meet amazing people from all walks of life. The manager is stand off ish and the culture has become so clique ish. Not open or accepting. There are so many former customers such as myself that have left and will not come back because of it. Also, they ironically preach about creating a "sober" environment but actively sell substances some of which are quite addictive (kratom). Steer clear and find other kava bars that are more welcoming and less judgy.“

“I had such a great experience in the beginners wheel class I took. It was much harder than I expected but the instructor was a great support during the class. The class time does give you adequate time to get used to the wheel and to make your pieces. You're also able to bring in your food or drinks you've purchased at the front into the studio. Overall it was such a fun time and I'm planning to come back for some more practice!“

“I am pretty picky about coffee shops and this one definitely makes my favorite's list here in Phoenix. It is very well designed. I appreciate the large tables and outlets if I work from there. I ordered a dirty chai latte and it was the perfect flavor profile. I hate when they use cheap powders, syrups and added sugars. My latte was more on the herbal side which is my personal favorite. While I was in they had a DJ spinning music casually on a Friday afternoon which was so dope! Big fan of this spot and will have to try the food next time.“

“Found Crafti tea when they were at an Asian festival not too long ago. Their boba is hands down THE best! After my first boba, I couldn’t stop thinking about this place. I would highly recommend this place to anyone either wanting to try boba for the first time or if you are a hardcore boba lover like me!“

“Came in for the first time the other day. It's a great, small shop with courteous staff. The decor inside is simple which I love. The coffee is smooth, but also very flavorful. I also love it when you tell the staff you're drinking inside and you get an actual coffee cup to drink from, not a to-go cup. That's a big plus for me in any coffee shop. It's in a plaza so if you blink while driving by then you could miss it but stop in for a morning cup if you have a chance.“
“Just love the signature coffee drinks with homemade pecan milk and housemade syrups. It is family owned and has a super cool vibe. This cafe has a Latino edge to it which sets it apart from the other cafes. The owner is a cool guy and very welcoming.“

“Best pastries ever! And lemonade - per Alejandro, my 7 year old nephew. We ordered an Elote croissant & the layers in the pastry were absolutely superb! You could smell the butter in both the cookie & croissant, a rareity here in the Valley. Perfect balance of sweetness in the chocolate chip cookie which is something I always look for. We cannot wait to go back. My nephew is looking forward to his “next day off” so he can also join. Thank you!“

“I visited this establishment recently with a friend who had been here once before. Everything was really delicious. The service was excellent. My friend and I both had the honey lavender latte and I would highly recommend it. I got the Eleanor Benedict, which was really good. My friend got scrambled eggs her way and enjoyed it. Both of us got the potatoes that came with and I didn't need to add any seasoning to the potatoes they were so delicious! I think it's my new favorite brunch place and I cannot wait to go back.“

“Cool coffee shop! Felt very fancy and tons of menu options. We got the cookie butter latte and and lavender vanilla latte. Very strong lavender flavor. Only thing is you had to make sure you stirred in the flavoring pretty good because it was all at the bottom when we got them! Overall good coffeeParking: Parking was odd, you had to park in the apartment parking lots, not parking at the shot itself“

“Decent coffee house, the homemade system in the lattes are almost too sweet, and there isn't good searing for bigger groups like teams trying to get together offsite. Other then that it was good place to work from, chill music selection, minimum volume, could easily hold phone conversations iside and out.“
“We hosted my baby sprinkle at The Teapot and couldn't have been happier with our choice! This spot is sooo cute and perfect for events! We reached out to the venue, and they were very communicative. They were so helpful the day of, and very reasonably priced! Definitely will consider this venue for my future events!“

“Drip coffee & chai tea lattes were delicious. We also got the loaded sandwich and the vegan sandwich. Both are served on a crispy, homemade ciabatta bread sprinkled with everything bagel seasoning. Extremely friendly service and cool vibe inside. We sat outside because it was a gorgeous morning. The cook came out and gave us a free (still warm!) oatmeal cookie that was outstanding. Will definitely be back when I visit Phoenix again!“

“My fiancé and I have a slight obsession with trying to find the best coffee wherever we are living/visiting. And currently we have been living in the valley for four years. At this point in time, Moxie is our champion. Not only do they make very impressive specialty drinks but even their classic coffee, espresso and latte drinks are always amazing. One thing that we think really sets Moxie apart is their consistency. Their drinks never disappoint. Unlike many other shops where you might get a really good drink one day and then the next day it is much lower quality. On top of all that, their staff is incredibly kind, and cool. They help set the really chill but modern vibe in the shop that makes it a great place to chat with a friend or get work done. And one of my favorite things about Moxie is that if you have your coffee in shop, they will always serve your drink in one of their beautiful mugs or glasses. Most coffee shops tend to serve their drinks in disposable cups whether you're staying or going and I think it really ruins the experience. Moxie seems to really pay attention to the finer details:) Oh and one more thing! Their pastries are insane and they warm them up the perfect amount before they serve them to you! Moxie is 10/10 and over the years they've really gained my loyalty and my recommendation to anyone visiting or living in the valley:)“

“After grabbing a few books at The Poisoned Pen bookstore, I strolled over coffee. Spring in Scottsdale is beautiful, and Old Town is lively with spring training tourists all around. It was a gorgeous morning to hang in Old Town. The shop is in a small old converted garage attached to a building with multiple independent businesses in one room shops. Each weekend it's a hang out for car enthusiasts. It's such a cute little spot with trees and grass and room to move for little ones and furry ones.I wanted cold caffeine, and the baristas suggested a chili & maple iced latte. It was a perfect blend of slightly sweet with a little bite. I sat and read while I listened to the conversations around me from all of the out of towners. I really do love Arizona in the spring.“

“One of the best breakfast burritos I've ever had. The tater tots inside were so crispy. Bacon was great. Eggs were fluffy. “This is one of my favorite places to get coffee in Mesa, AZ. Beyond the great food and coffee, Murphy the owner is wonderful. “Today is our 2nd time here while visiting Scottsdale. Super friendly baristas, and very cute and relaxing environment! LH knows their coffee and have scrumptious baked goods. My hubs and I ordered cortados and a Lemon Raspberry cookie. We enjoyed every sip and bite! We usually like our cortados smaller but the taste was great! We also don’t think the cookie was GF even though we were told it was. If you are gluten intolerant just order coffee. =)“

“First time here and we really enjoyed our experience. I was impressed with the customer service, I believe the owner was the one who greeted us and helped us decide what to eat. I had the vegetarian with potatoes and it was yum! I had a salad of potato salad and was just got it because I was curious, I have never had a potato salad with corn and black beans....it was unique and yummy. My friend had a breakfast sandwich and said it was really good. These sandwiches are different and delicious The restaurant is very cute with yummy food. Definitely recommend and we definitely return!“

“This place knows ice cream. Every flavor I have had is perfection. If you come here make sure to get their house made waffle cones, it's something that just cannot be missed. The inside is decorated like a retro ice cream parlor - you can literally buy a snap bracelet or yo-yo. Seating is limited but who cares when you get to enjoy delicious ice cream!!! For basic people their Madagascar vanilla is one of the best vanillas I have ever had!“

“This is hands-down the best Ethiopian food in Phoenix! Flavors are so complex and developed. We're vegetarian, so we usually go for the veggie combos and lentil sambusas. The ambience is friendly and warm, and there's an extra eating area with Mesob basket tables for a more communal and intimate setting. My husband and I enjoy this spot for date night, and my daughter loves eating with her hands. For an extra treat, try the coffee ceremony. We're not Ethiopian, but we just love this spot. Once you taste the food, you won't be sorry.Vegetarian options: Veggie ComboSambussas“

“Okay this is our favorite spot in Phoenix and one of our all-time favorites ANYWHERE! The whole concept is super creative and the dogs are amazing. Visiting Phoenix for a month and have already been back to Short Leash multiple times. These are not "hot dogs" in the traditional sense (do NOT think Oscar Mayer), but are culinary masterpieces that you get to help build. Brunch is (almost) as mind-blowing and the doughnuts...the doughnuts...oh my Lord, the doughnuts. Never have tasted anything so good. Each time back we've said "best doughnut ever" and then it gets beat the next time around. Indoors has a cool vibe (love the old school posters and all the dog photos) and the outdoor patio is off-street and wonderful in the spring weather. Don't miss Short Leash Hotdogs if you get the chance.“

“Must visit spot - be prepared to spend a bunch because everything is so yummy and smells/looks amazing. Tough choices ? but all worth every penny. Also I’m so annoyed for them that their neighbors tow but they have easy parking right across the street. Everyone was so nice and the vibe was perfect. Must eat place when you’re visiting Phoenix. Very cool outdoor area too“

“First off, we live 45 minutes from this place and I will drive here everyday for some coffee if it was practical to do so. We ordered a basic iced latte and hot mocha. Not only do they serve them in the correct proportions but the service was quick and the end product was delicious. Inside there is plenty of comfortable seating, and the ambiance is excellent. My only complaint is that I didn't try the pizza place right next to them, I suppose I'll just have to go back sooner rather than later. Anyway, come here get some coffee and relax for a while, you will not be disappointed.“

“I'm a coffee snob. Coffee was decent. I prefer their coffee from home over served here. Probably wouldn't go outta my way to grab a coffee Togo, but would buy grounds for later.Staff was great, atmosphere was relaxed and very clean.“
“Cute, hidden gem of a coffee bar in a residential area literally a stone's throw away from the hustle and bustle of Old Town Scottsdale. I needed to get some work done and initially tried to go to Sips but they were closed today at 4pm! I fired up my Yelp app and checked Google also and this place seemed legit so I gave it a try. This is right off 69th St and tucked slightly into a residential area. I parked on the street and walked in. Once inside, it's a community oasis. Lots of people inside having coffee, beer, working. Barista was very nice and welcoming. I ordered a 12 oz iced latte with oat milk with some caramel. Total came to under $10 with tip. I sat outside and batista brought me my drink. Wifi available and lots of neighbors definitely come here. Dogs are also allowed and there were some really adorable ones here. I'd definitely come back to this spot as it is low key, friendly, chill and a great spot!“

“If you know you know. Great food, little on the high side price wise, but overall worth it. Staff is always friendly, and their brunch on weekends is the best part. “My love language is doughnuts so everywhere we travel we find a doughnut shop. This might be one of my all time favs. We actually rode our bikes from The Scott and it was so worth it. We ordered the lemon and braspberry. Both were so fresh, light, airy, and just tasty. The lemon doughnut was like something I have never tasted...the consistency was insane! We also took three doughnuts back to the hotel. All were like no other! We can't wait to go back on a vaca to Scottsdale and try more doughnuts!“

“@awakencafe.az is a laid-back, beautiful spot to sip a drink while you reflect and the kids play. Located at Valley Presbyterian Church on McDowell, the cafe is open to the public. It's finally cooled down enough where the accordion glass walls are wide open and the indoor/outdoor space flows freely together. The kids really enjoyed their bagels and cream cheese, but I savored the breakfast burrito. A local caterer provides them. It was a good size and filled with eggs, potatoes, cheese and caramelized onions. Perfectly light but flavorful. The outdoor space is large with tons of seating, a grass yard, and climbing toys for toddlers. It was so peaceful. Definitely a spot to return to for reading, studying or work. The barista was very friendly. For more local adventures check out @msbusyblonde on Instagram“
