Though the alien theme is beyond charming, the real star is their chicken and the sauces.Paradoxically juicy, crunchy, tender, and full of flavor simultaneously--an impossible feat. I truly have no idea how the chicken is this good, and when paired with one of their signature sauces absolutely life-changing. The sauces are well balanced: not too thick, too sweet, or too strong. Whatever spice they add to the plain popcorn chicken is tasty enough, yet it pairs well with their sauces to create a flavor symphony.Highly recommend taking time to stop by, try the chicken and the tea. “This place is a lot of fun, they have an excellent board game selection, excellection seating selection - tons of different chair options - table options - private rooms / themed rooms.They have a pretty decent selection of craft beer however their prices can be a little scary on some of the cans. When a 16oz can of craft beer costs $10, rough life, when that same brand comes in a 4x16oz pack for $25. You're definitely paying a premium for the craft brews here. However, the point is that you're essentially renting a table and paying rent ontop of your drinks - a way to think of it.This place is a lot cheaper overall compared to other places even though some of the craft brews are pricey. I love the selection of games, so far haven't had any issues with missing pieces. It can get rather busy rather quickly on pretty much any day - so plan ahead / be prepared.“

“I'm not a fan of extremely sweet things. Every donut I ate over the course of time has been very good but way too sweet for me especially if it's filled and then has the sweet frosting. Last Sunday I went and a customer in front of me ordered a scone and I decided to get the herbal scone and it was awesome. It was great to find out there is something for those of us who don't like extremely sweet things. I'll be back for more scones“

“Whenever I’m in downtown Mesa, I try and stop by and get a “banana coffee”, just ask, it is one of their specialties. Honestly it’s the only thing I ever order, if this shop was closer to me, I would end up big and happy drinking them lol. Seemingly appearing as a wannabe J.K. Rowling. No judgement was ever evident towards this striving and quirky novelist. In fact a good number of regulars were aware of my undertaking and gave encouragement. It was do or die for me there. I could not maintain the needed focus at home nor in a library . Hava Java provided the perfect mixture of the subdued conversations of customers seated at nearby booths while still enabling me to enclose myself in literary solitude . As a result, I was able to complete my 40 chapter, 500 page, 100,000 word fantasy novel. I could not have done this without them. I am now engaged in the submission process. “The milk tea smoothies are sooooo good! I appreciate that they carry oat milk which is the best dairy free milk for a creamy smoothie. I love that you can choose a couple flavors to mix. The coffee boba smoothie is great for daytime and at night my favorite combo so far is chocolate + peanut butter + banana. Taro + coconut is also great! Not the most comfy place to sit and hang so I personally prefer to take it to go. Glad to have found this place!“

When I spoke to the manager, Dawn, on the phone - she was soooooo sweet and kind and really understanding and apologetic. I find that ordering drinks at a drive-thru can be difficult and lead to drinks being made incorrectly, so I really enjoy that I can order face-to-face with someone at this Starbucks. “We LOVE Renegade Coffee. Seeing Carley is also a plus to great food and a comfortable setting. Our very young g children realllllly love the biscuits and gravy and gluten free chocolate donuts and once a week our two year old asks to come here specifically! We really enjoy seeing a few others of the staff too though Carley has the sweetest spirit and goes out of her way say hi to our kids. The ONLY reason I chose four stars is simply because my husband and I prefer much stronger coffee and don't love ordering multiple shots of espresso to match our tastes, but the food is so good it's worth making an extra stop.“
