“Delicious vegan pastries, sandwiches, bowls, and drinks! Cute place with plenty of parking and comfortable atmosphere. Staff are friendly and helpful. The pasties seem to come out a bit after opening, probably when the chef, who was there one day, delivered them. Loved everything we had on our first visit. Our second visit we had ice cream, which I did not like--more like shaved ice in terms of iciness, but my friend did still enjoy hers!“
“Always high quality service and great food. The waffle and wing skewers are my husbands favoriteVegetarian options: Tons of vegetarian options, especially at breakfastDietary restrictions: Tons of gluten free optionsParking: Lots of parking availableKid-friendliness: Kid friendlyWheelchair accessibility: Easy access for wheelchairs“
“This place serves an epic breakfast. Sat on their heated patio which offers some nice views of the area. Service was amazing and fast. All the food was great, but the pancakes are at a different level. Honestly maybe the best I’ve ever had. If you are in the area makes sure you try this place out.“
“So I called this am to get my family in Andreas section (best & most favorite server!!) only to find out she's no longer there! I really can't believe this and won't be returning. : > ( it just wouldn't be the same....“
“My wife heard about Mis Raices Café through family and facebook. We are always looking to try new places around town. My wife, one of our daughters, and I stopped in this morning. The atmosphere was very positive and relaxed with the baristas and other customers. We each had a different drink choice: Duvalin Iced Latte, Marzipan Iced Latte, and a Carmel Iced Latte. All three looked amazing just from the presentation when the baristas made them. They all tasted just as amazing. Once we left we realized we may have been sitting next to the owner and his daughter. If we realized it when we were there we would have told him how impressed we were and it is one of the few we would beyond highly recommend to everyone. No doubt we have found a new favorite local spot we will definitely be coming back regularly. To the entire team at Mis Raices, you are doing a phenomenal job with everything. Thank you!“
“We hosted my baby sprinkle at The Teapot and couldn't have been happier with our choice! This spot is sooo cute and perfect for events! We reached out to the venue, and they were very communicative. They were so helpful the day of, and very reasonably priced! Definitely will consider this venue for my future events!“
“Me and my boyfriend went here for breakfast and the food was very good. I got the hacienda hash (which I feel is only a spring item) and he got the BLT Benedict and two pancakes. We also got the million dollar bacon. He said he wished that there was more hollandaise sauce on the Benedict but that it was still delicious. My hash was very good and so was the million dollar bacon. You think the million dollar bacon is just Maple bacon but it kind of isn't. It has much more flavor and a very unique delicious taste compared to Maple bacon. It did take us a moment or two to get seated but our waiter was very nice.“
“One of the better First Watch locations in my opinion, food is cooked right and the service is good. Also helps that they get people in an out pretty quick. Easy option if you're looking for brunch. Four stars since I feel like the food could use a bit more seasoning/flavor but overall a good experience.“
“My wife works nearby this place and talks about it constantly. I feel like I know the people who run it from everything I've heard. She isn't easy to please, so they must be a really great family. Highest commendations for service, and while I can't speak to all the food, I will say that the bagels and banana bread are to class. It's always nice to run into people who CARE about their business and customers.“
“Must visit spot - be prepared to spend a bunch because everything is so yummy and smells/looks amazing. Tough choices ? but all worth every penny. Also I’m so annoyed for them that their neighbors tow but they have easy parking right across the street. Everyone was so nice and the vibe was perfect. Must eat place when you’re visiting Phoenix. Very cool outdoor area too“
“The tea and boba are great of course but the quality of the food is a great surprise. We had orange chicken, chow mein and pork dumplings and all were excellent!Kid-friendliness: They made a fresh milk with vanilla for my youngest son, even though vanilla wasn't on the menu.“
“We were a group of 8 people from a retirement community who went here for lunch after our visit to the Japanese Friendship Garden. Jace and his team were so friendly and accommodating; making sure everyone in our group was taken care of. We were even able to place a pre-order so they had our food ready for us when we got there. The whole experience was 10/10. Thank you, Jace and the Valley Coffee Co. Team!Wheelchair accessibility: There is a ramp that leads up to the cafe. Spacious and wheelchair accessible bathroom.“
“I was driving by for a meeting and starving! Thought I'd stop by really quick for a sandwhich but did not realize all the amazing options this place would have. Hot panini sandwiches, great customer service and very centrally located to airport and all the hotels that surround it.“
“Excellent. Traveling often throughout the U.S. and Europe, we are foodies at heart, and Michelin rated restaurants are regular visits on our list. Of note, we also own a little dessert place. This restaurant would rate in one of our top 10 definitely, likely the top 5 experiences for both food and service. Unpretentious, but very well made food does not disappoint. Flavors, well done and unique, yet familiar. Fun and vibrant atmosphere meets the intent, and I feel transported while enjoying my meal. Our server was so friendly and welcoming. We are sad to know the chef's health has declined, and this great place will be closing at the end of May 2024. We are traveling back to Phoenix just to visit this gem in April. Go, while you have the chance. (But please let us in line.)“
“Love the decor and ambiance. The seating makes it feel private. Not a ton of people on a Friday morning. Our server Rachel was lovely and understanding. My friend had to run so we ordered and got our checks immediately. She split our checks and we could pay via QR code which was convenient. The food came quickly. They brought an extra carafe of hot coffee for self service refills. When my friend asked for a to go cup for his coffee, they brought one filled with fresh coffee. The million dollar bacon is worth it! 4 thick slices, evenly cooked with a bit of chew and crisp. The pepper is strong and the maple syrup balances the spice. The BLT eggs Benedict was delicious. I love arugula and the extra toss in lemon sauce added a nice zest to the heavier hollandaise sauce. The egg yolk was runny. Bacon and tomatoes were solid. The side of salad is a nice healthy option that a lot of brunch places lack. A great balance of protein and veggies. Would definitely get this again.“
“Welp, they did it again. After meeting a colleague for a networking coffee last week and being very impressed, I returned to Williams Coffee Co this week with the misses aaaand it’s now our favorite breakfast spot in north Phx. It’s locally owned (Starbucks is not fresh or local) which is important to us to support our local economy. My gal gets a Spanish coffee that she raves about and I’m all about the chef’s daily pastries. We tried the avocado toast and EVERY ingredient used in this breakfast was fresh and delicious. The chef takes baking to another level and it’s crazy to think that such a gem is hidden in a little shopping plaza a mile from our house. Coming from Flagstaff, I miss the local food scene that has owner operators pouring love into everything they serve. We finally found a place close to home that does just that. We’ll be back a couple times a week for years to come! PS- the pic is the pesto avocado toast. I don’t do eggs, so they split it, one with, one without. So good!“
“This is one of my go-to spots to work during the week. The coffee is so good and the staff is so friendly, plus great vibes! I don't normally order food or adult beverages, but I've had pastries, smoothies, food food and cocktails from here before and you can't go wrong with anything! My girl Gabby is also the sweetest human alive and I love going in when she's there to catch up! She'll always greet you with a smile and the customer service she provides is top notch so they're very lucky to have her on their team! :)“
“Omg, the desserts are amazing, coffee fantastic. The best part was the service received by the really good looking, short haired, blue eyed barrista. I am sorry i did not get her name, but you will recognize her smile and fantastic personality. Thank you for just making EVERTHING just better. We were the Dad and Son you helped. You are truly a beautiful person. Thanks!“
“The Lunch Lounge is a hidden gem tucked away in the back corner of a large building. I just had the Best Albuquerque Turkey sandwich... well it was a panini. The flavors of the sandwich was perfectly ?? matched with the green Chilli mayo! The Boars Head Turkey is so tender and delicious. I highly highly recommend coming into this location and grabing some breakfast or lunch. The atmosphere is very calm and chill. They have indoor and outdoor seatting with free Wi-Fi. I will be coming back to try the tuna melt next.Parking: Large parking lot to the south of the entrance. Right next to the parking garage“
“I got the green chili pork burrito and at first thought it seemed a little expensive till I saw how big the burrito is, very good and very filling. The sweets collection they have is amazing, so hard to resist. And the kitchen is so accommodating, I can't do dairy so they were able to use the goat cheese(very different from cows milk cheese) instead.“
“This charming little shop is a great place to stop in and get a delicious snack, meal, or drink. They have several different crepes both sweet and savory, and even have them in minis (so you can try more without feeling guilty), there are great drink options, and the atmosphere is clean and quiet in the day but sometimes has live music in the evenings. The best part of this restaurant is the customer service. The team is friendly, caring, and engaging, and speak both English and Spanish. Drope in and enjoy!“
“I love this little cafe! I work right next to it so it's one of my go tos for breakfast and lunch! It's unfortunate that the old owners are moving on as I will miss them. But the new owners are just as friendly and as fun as they were. They are super nice and it's still the same cute cafe. Just with new people is all! I look forward to see what new things they'll add on the menu! Shout out to Ken for keeping it real!“
“Love this place!! Favorite spot to get coffee in Phoenix! Their atmosphere is amazing and the baristas always look like they are having fun. I also love coming here because they are always doing little events for the community. I love that they stand up for human rights!“
“Clearly, they're doing something right! Many of the wait staff are recognizable due to their long-term stay. They've mastered their quoted wait times in this bustling place. It's family-friendly and a great place to take your small children or grandchildren as they begin to learn their table skills. The food is consistently yummy and of good quality. The restaurant is clean, and the restrooms are well maintained.“
“Ever since this cafe opened up. It’s been my go to place for meetings, and taking a break whenever I’m the downtown area. It has a lovely atmosphere, plenty of outlets, space to sit in relax. A plus for me is the Wi-Fi speeds are awesome as well. I have yet to participate in a yoga class which I’m going too. The staff are great! Visually a great work and coffee space.“
“this Cafe is very helpful to us women who live at Halle's house. they not only offer good food they offer us women at umoms an opportunity to get trained to work there. they have classes that will offer u paid training and then u can go out into the world and get a career I love everything about umoms and I love this Cafe.“
“Mhm? that’s what I’m talking about, this food is bomb ? This sandwich is so good It has me writing a review while I eat it.This place is such an aesthetic vibe, always clean, owner is so cool! I love this place, if I could eat here everyday I would.1million/10 stars“
“I've become addicted to the breakfast wrap, the sweetness of the roasted tomatoes push the flavor combination over the edge! Now I can say the same about the curry wrap, the sweet and savory notes are fantastic! Oh, and I opened the wrapping and discovered a complimentary small double-chocolate cookie. What a tasty surprise.“
“Great atmosphere and even better customer service, I ordered their waffle fry basket and hibiscus tea. The waffle fries in my opinion were just the right amount of crispy on the outside and soft on the inside (came with ketchup and buttermilk ranch), The hibiscus tea was just the right amount of sour definitely not too overwhelming. I give the waffle fries a 5/5 and the hibiscus tea a 5/5 as well, would definitely visit again, I recommend this place to take your friends and family.“
“I LOVE MYTEA omg im actually obsessed ?? pleasseee please go here- it’s cute, the boba is good; you can go alone or with friends and its amazing either way. I seriously couldn’t recommend it enough- I go there all the time. I love boba and this is my favorite boba place!! Also they have other food! Cookies, kimchie, chips, ice cream.“
“Cute little place. First time visit and we waited about 25 minutes for a table. It was around 11am on a Saturday. We were able to sit out on the patio. Adorable! The awning and the birds gave it such a wonderful ambiance. Food was good. Our server was great - just enough attention. Would definitely go back.“
“I visited the first time recently to get homework done and was blown in away with the atmosphere! It feels so fresh, bring and open. Love the serves I got. Started with a lavender latte while I worked then switched to a red wine when I was done, both beverages were affordable and enjoyable. I will definitely be back!“
“It was a wonderful experience! The owner is so friendly and the food is amazing! They made sure our meal just as we had hoped and just how we asked. ❤️ I asked for Texas french toast and for it to be extra crispy if possible. After I took a few bites, they asked how I liked it and if it was crispy enough. I told them I loved it but next time, I’d order it even crunchier. Guess what they did…this is awesome…they offered to recook it and make it crunchier and THEY DID! I can’t wait to go back-I’ll be more specific next time because, they all work so hard and I don’t want them doing extra work. If you love family and you love food, go to Kay’s!“
“I am so glad that I stopped here on a Friday morning when they were open. The cafe miel was delicious, and the staff were SO friendly. Honestly I was having a bad morning and the staff interaction alone turned my day around. Will definitely be back whenever I visit Phoenix next.“
“I always enjoy the food at First Watch. The taste and the quality is the same between locations. Plus, they have healthy options and decadent ones as well.Unfortunately, the service wasn't great at this location. I'll probably still return because it's the best option in the area. Just be prepared for subpar service.“
“What an awesome quaint dinner. Most would just drive right by this place as I have so often. I'm glad a friend of mine asked to meet me there. The staff was very welcoming and friendly. They treated my service animal like he was loved and belonged there as part of the family. Bringing him water and asking before petting him.The food was great. Served hot and fresh. I had biscuits and gravy, and it was just as good as my grandma's. That's saying alot for me.. I wish more restraints were like this one. They were just incredible in every way. I will return soon!“
“This place is absolutely amazing. They have the best tasting drinks. Protein Shakes and protein coffee. Nalany is super helpful and sweet. I didn’t get the other ladies name but she was amazing also and very helpful. The vibe in this place is amazing. If yall want the best definitely come here!!!!!“
“Had lunch here today before our visit to the museum. I had the chilaquile verde Frida's Fiestas special - it was terrific!! My sister really enjoyed her salad, as well. And our server was wonderful. If I lived in Phoenix I'd definitely be stopping by often.“
“Finally getting acquainted with this place now that I've found it on the way to work. It's really tasty! In the first 2 visits, I've had their ginormous cinnamon roll (good stuff), a breakfast burrito and a sunrise omelette. Also an Iced Americano. All good things!“
“My friends and I have tried the taco salad which was not only awesome in flavor but the portion size was more than I expected. I ate the entire shell. The massive baked potato was extremely flavorful with a nice kick. I look forward to having my vehicle serviced here again, for the food while I wait. My hats off to those who prepare this wonderful food. Just me, a food critic! Looking forward to the coffee here“
“A perfect example of a mom and pop eatery there is no pretending in the French toast no deceit in the crispy legendary bacon just plain honest food served with love and if that wasn't enough the pricing is very affordable P.S. the tuna salad is the best in town!“
“Classy cafe inside the Musical Instrument Museum (must have a museum entry ticket, not open to public). One side is a walk up counter and the other is like a lunch line. My kids enjoyed their hot dog and mac and cheese. The Mac and cheese was not basic kids Mac and cheese... it was very good. My chicken sandwich was a good quality chicken breast, very tasty. There is lots of seating but it does fill up fast. The wall decor is so cool, with quotes from different famous musicians.“
“Our family needed a quick lunch between flights at PHX and enjoyed exceptionally friendly service at La Madeleine. The counter staff took our order, graciously pointing out combos that saved us money, delivered food to our table, and then cleared items as we finished. While we were eating, a patron departed and accidentally left a bag at one of the tables, and one of the servers rushed off to deliver it to the gates. Well done!“
“So our wait wasn't bad for a Saturday. Our waitress was nice, but she didn't bring back the right mimosa, but we kept them and they were good. Our food came and it was really good! We had no issues with the food! Overall, we were happy with the food and we would definitely come back!“
“A delightful bistro located across the street from my apartment. Tucked away in a corner of a large office complex, Verando may appear small, nevertheless it offers a rather large assortment of, made to order breakfast and lunch items. Everything from an assortment of freshly prepared sandwiches, soup, and salads to tempting baked goods and custom made hot and cold beverages, makes Verando Bistro a must stop if you’re seeking a place for a quick bite of deliciousness.“
“Truly amazing quality, a real value beyond comparison, lengua is slow cooked, tripa is full flavored and goes very well with lots of lime and salsa (which are included with everything), every style and flavor of meat is well done for an unbeatable price“
“Such a fun little gem in downtown Phoenix. I was visiting for the long weekend and had to fuel up before I busy Saturday. I've seen some of their social media, including some really fun Valentine specials so I had to stop in for the pink delights. Sadly, they were out of their Valentines concha but I was still able to try a really tasty chai with a strawberry foam on top. It was a really good drink. The day we went they were hosting an event, and it was really fun to engage with the event hosts and hear about their upcoming music festival. Especially exciting because this was a Latina led festival. We were able to find parking a few blocks away. It was a nice short walk.“
“Delightfully surprised by this gem of a snack bar/cafe nestled in the Desert Botanical Garden! The menu offers good variety and the food was fresh. In particular, the salads were special and interesting. The kids meal was generous, though it would be great if it included a little drink. Decent patio but it fills up quickly during busy periods. There is also additional seating around the corner. Above all, the service was exceptional! I had to wait a bit longer for my food (someone behind me in line took my order) and the staff comped me a giant, fudgey brownie for the trouble. I LOVE that the employees are empowered to make decisions like that. Customer service is the backbone of any business. If I could make one recommendation, it would be to have a better system for calling out orders during busy times because it's rather haphazard as is. Highly recommend an affordable and tasty lunch here if you're exploring the gardens!Vegetarian options: Good options for salads, though they are pre-packed so it's unlikely you could make substitutions/replacements.Dietary restrictions: The salads and some sandwiches are pre-packed so you may or may not be able to make replacements/substitutions.Kid-friendliness: A small kid-friendly menu. Generous portions, but would be great if they included a small drink.“
“Temporary Cafe at the Phx Art Museum was Amazing! I believe her name was Dani.. provided a top tier experience and excellent service! She was so helpful and kind and answered all of our questions. We tried the caramel lattes, teas, caesar salad, and fruit - it was all really good!! Was sad to see the palette close, but now I'm excited for what is coming based on our recent experience. Looking forward to coming back again!!“
“Excellent coffee, teas, and vegan munchies. Fun and imaginative drinks for any mood. Highly recommend trying any of their coffees or teas with their various flavored foams. The iced blueberry tea with blueberry foam is light, refreshing, and out of this world. Steep is also a warm and inviting place to come hang out and work. I am usually disappointed with vegan food offerings in coffee shops, but their breakfast sandy is delicious! The slaw in the sandy takes it over the top.“
