House made tartar sauce was a good decision. Plenty of televisions. Great place to visit.“

“All I have to say is our waitress, Ms. Irene, was the real hero of our evening. Best waitress you could ask for. We started our evening trying out a new restaurant in Cave Creek called El Encanto that was an epic fail. With the full mindset of wanting some good sizzling fajitas for dinner we went to Valle Luna because it’s always consistent and easy with our kiddos. 30 seconds after being seated, we were greeted by our amazing waitress and also had chips and salsa delivered to our table. Our waitress immediately read the energy that we needed our kids fed and the adults needed a drink. 2 minutes later we have Shirley temples and coronaritas on our table. 6 minutes later our kids have their food brought out along with extra plates for each of them without having to ask. Our food was fantastic per usual and we were able to enjoy a calm atmosphere. Our whole experience made up for the hour prior to the chaos we experience with the other restaurant. Moral of today is “don’t reinvent the wheel” - Stay with what you know works and stay going to restaurants that are consistent and have great customer service like Valle Luna. And to add the cherry on top, request Irene!“

“We are t in the area as much as we used to be, but if nearby we try to stop by now and again for some pizza and fun. Today we came for a late lunch after a day of dirt bike riding and knew there would be enough parking here for our trailer. Unfortunately the shopping center is nearly dead now and days with so many spots out of business or moved. Santisi Brothers however is booming as always. We walked in to a seat yourself sign. Our waitress came over quickly with menus, drink orders and left us with a little time to look over the menu. We love their pizza so of course orders that, hot wings, side salad, fried zucchini and garlic knots. There is a full bar as well if you’d like to come for a drink. Everything came out pretty fast. With all the TV’s and such the wait feels even less. If you love pool there are also tables. While we were there they were having a poker game in the secondary room. The location is pretty dark inside so pictures are a bit harder to get. There is an outside patio as well. Our food was great. The garlic knots were cooked a bit too long and quite dry, but edible. My son’s soda was probably the worst part of the meal. Carbonation was at nearly a zero and little flavor. We couldn’t even tell it was a Dr Pepper. Again, food and service were great.“

“I used to go here a Lot, moved out of the area, so it's been a while. It's a small neighborhood bar, with sports TV and full menu. I got Prime Rib dinner special which is what I usually got before. It was barely "okay" this time. Meat was cold. Service was "okay", it was busy, she was trying to keep up, had to ask for some stuff twice. Could've been an off night. I'll try it again to be sure.“

Solid sports bar. Lots of tv's. Fans of many teams come to cheer on their team. We like the mix. Make your own Bloody Mary bar (during football season on Sundays) is a hit. Solid breakfast options during football season. A respectable # of taps and bottles/cans. We also enjoy the wings and the club sandwich. They have daily specials on a food item and a beer. Great TV viewing everywhere. It was a comfortable environment and I wanted to stay and watch the rest of the playoff game. But, we had other commitments. The hamburger is extraordinary. Many times a server will ask you how you would like the burger cooked. But seldom does it come out the way you ordered it. I ordered my burger medium, and it came out medium. By the way, the burger options are a little exotic for my taste. For me a simple cheeseburger is perfect. So, I asked the server if I could just have a Swiss cheeseburger. She of course replied certainly I'll have to make it for you. Little things are important.“
