From the friendly owner to the hearty portions, everything about this place exudes authenticity and hospitality.

We opted to sit outside, enjoying the relaxing view of the fountain and the serene atmosphere. The setting was perfect for an evening meal, with a light breeze adding to the ambiance. The owner was incredibly warm and welcoming, stopping by to ensure we were enjoying ourselves and even sharing a few recommendations from the menu. His genuine friendliness made the experience even more special.

The portions at Alexander Greek Restaurant are impressively large—perfect for sharing or for those with hearty appetites. Everything we tried was full of authentic Mediterranean flavors, and the ingredients tasted fresh and vibrant.

- Greek Meze Platter: This was an excellent way to start the meal. The platter included hummus, tzatziki, and a feta spread with peppers (the name escapes me, but it was an absolute winner!). The creamy feta spread was the standout, with its tangy, slightly spicy kick perfectly balanced by the richness of the cheese. The meze was served with warm pita bread, which was soft and perfect for dipping.
- Greek Salad: A classic done right
- Chicken Skewers: The chicken was grilled to perfection—tender, juicy, and infused with a smoky, charred flavor.
- Lamb with Oven-Roasted Potatoes: This dish was the highlight of the evening. The lamb was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection with a slight crust on the outside, and bursting with Mediterranean spices. The oven-roasted potatoes were soft, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—a comforting accompaniment to the lamb.

I’ll definitely be back for another helping of that unforgettable feta spread and lamb! Highly recommended for anyone craving authentic Greek cuisine with a personal touch.

“Had the breakfast burrito ? and paid a bit over $16 with tip. They use fries for the potatoes. It worked, and was alright. I was told there’d be no need for salsa; that it would be seasoned enough. There wasn’t enough flavor for me, and the burrito stood to have salsa and sour cream. It was a good size burrito; having two meals out of it. The tortilla was good, and had a slight crisp. Could have used more eggs too. Quite an ‘ups & downs’ review. Overall it was good. This food truck isn’t at the Buzzed Goat in Ahwatukee every Saturday. No telling if he’ll be back. I’d recommend trying them. Share it, or take leftovers home.”

“Just had a hiking group stop by Phil's after a couple loops around the fountain. I had the sliders which were excellent and my wife got a Julienne salad which was huge. “Tonight I enjoyed dinner and a look at Fountain View Village. It was very cheerful and bright building with many areas for residents to gather. The residents I spoke with seem to greatly enjoy being a part of the community and all the activities it has to offer. The dining experience was exceptional with shrimp, Caesar’s salad, lobster tail and chocolate cake. It was absolutely a 5 star dinner with an exceptional staff. I would highly recommend looking at FVV as a living option. It is a lovely community with many happy residents.”
