“This is exceptional sushi, found in few places, including Vancouver. The Chicken Karage was juicy, meaty, crispy and golden. The Hokkigai Nigiri was tender, sweet and delicately tasted of the ocean, like a kiss from the sea. It has the very best Negitoro roll we have ever eaten. We felt we got our money’s worth and more. A ‘must stop n dine’ if you are visiting g the Sunshine Coast.“

All parts of the restaurant were amazing, from the food to the service, to even the decor. As a native resident of the north shore area, this is by far the best sushi in this place. And to the people who rated this place one star, you truly have no taste and should try flavour for once.“
“Good food, quick, and friendly. Unfortunately the hours say they close at 8pm but regularly they do not take online or telephone orders after 7:30pm and no walk in customers after 7:45pm. They should update your online hours to reflect this as we regularly are hoping to get sushi after a busy day only to be told that they are closed before 8pm.“
“I ordered a salmon avocado roll with spicy mayo on top and it was DELICIOUS!! The rice was very fresh and so were the salmon and avocado inside! The staff were super nice and service was so fast! Definitely the best sushi place at ubc and just really good sushi in general. I will definitely be coming again!!“
“There is a couple of tables, but it's mostly take out. The sushi and sashimi portions are bigger than you'd get in the greater Vancouver area and much tastier as I found the rice filler was not as big and therefore you could taste the rest of the food involved. Also, it was a very friendly place and I really enjoyed what I ordered. I'd go again. I also ordered bowls of food for my friends and they also really enjoyed it. We did take out and I'll go back for more again.“
