“Stopped in on our way home to Nanaimo from Victoria. Very cool little ice cream truck in the parking lot near the Thrifty Foods. We had a couple of sundaes. The Strawberry one was very good, but the Black Forest one was amazing. The ice cream is vegan but you would never know. It didn’t have a strong coconut flavour which I do not care for. The prices were reasonable, comparable to other home made ice cream shops. There is a nice shaded seating area and you would never know you are in a parking lot. We will be back when passing though.“

They sell pints and cones and even by the cone, there is more than one vegan flavour to choose from, which is so appreciated. Highly recommend ?.“

“I've eaten at Quince several times by myself and with friends and have found the food and coffee consistently excellent -- fresh, delicious, and fairly priced. The atmosphere in the cafe is relaxing (good music, not too loud) and the service always pleasant. It's a small place and tables are in high demand. I try to keep that in mind and limit lingering.“
