Considered it is located in the busy mall, and taking so many customers I think they are still handling it pretty well.I had their laksa soup with rice noodle, sliced chicken / quail egg option quite a few times, and it has been pretty good.Especially it is good when it gets colder or rainy outside.Staffs are also pretty nice and I appreciate for that cuz when it’s having peak hour, food court gets crazy.
Having been to multiple locations, the Metrotown one is the most challenging: long lines at peak times, hard to find available seats/table, and the menu is slightly higher than the other locations. Service was surprisingly quick though!Drinks are not included in the combos (extra $1 for basic beverages like milk tea or lemon tea). But it’s still good value for what you get comparatively. Food was delicious, and the portions were generous. I ordered chicken nuggets with rice and it instantly brought me back to my high school days as it was my favorite food to grab for lunch. Did not disappoint with the food.My only critique is that drinks are served in a plastic sealed cup and a paper straw. The straw was not capable to piercing the plastic seal and took some effort to finally have a sip.
