“This place is absolutely stunning! First time in Kelowna and it’s our first night staying around. Without any clues where for good food, I just browsed through google map for restaurants round the city park area. 2 places stood out. West coast seafood and this Humo. When we drove past the first one (West Coast Seafood), it seemed to be a bit boring. Menu was so so. And we decided to dine at Humo when we found that the ambiance was so lively, the person at the reception receiving us was so helpful and welcoming. The menu was fabulous! There was a 5-course chef menu at $105 and my wife and I decided to create our own 6-course menu to share instead. Turned out, absolutely stunning. We had the crab cakes, octopus carpaccio, beef tartare, BC oysters, bone marrow and miso cod fish! Yes, it was quite a feast and we enjoyed so much as the beef tartare was phenomenal, the BC oysters were so fresh and delicious! This is a place I’d certainly recommend 5+ star. Oh, yeah, we had wines, coffee and finished the meal with Macadamia Sundae as well…”

“Went there for my gf and mines 2 year anniversary, and it was absolutely amazing. It’s an Italian and Korean restaurant, two of our favourites. She ordered the gnocchi alfredo and I had the braised pork shoulder. I’m a cook myself, so I don’t say this lightly, but it was one of the most delicious things I ever had the pleasure to eat. Definitely will be checking them out again because all their menu items sound just as good. Highly recommend to everyone”

“I had the pleasure of going into Little Hobo Soup & Sandwich Shop and was impressed by the level of service and care. From the moment we walked in the door you could just feel this was a special place. In a world that is fast paced, and everyone seems to be rushing through their day, this place gives you a moment of escape for even a short amount of time. The food is great and feels like some home cooking from grandma. Nostalgia is something they serve up daily, especially the Doukhobor Borscht (my little Ukrainian heart exploded). They even have take away items that you can indulge in at home. But the thing that stood out the most was the way their staff went above and beyond to make you feel welcomed, from the initial walk in, directing the line, and even while we waited for our takeout I think every staff member came by and made sure we didn't need anything. Our hospitality industry is lacking in that connection and level of care. One last thing, Crystal posts the daily specials in such a heartfelt way to their Facebook page that it's almost impossible to not give a shout out to this little small business and give them some community love that they so deserve.”

You guys need to do reduce the pricing because it doesn't come with enough portion. It would make sense if it was 12 or max 13 dollars for half chicken. Otherwise, it is amazing.”

My suggestion is to go when the buffet opens so you get freshest off the wok food. That's a rule for any buffet! I had plenty to eat and a variety of food from sushi to ice cream dessert. Price is completitive when you consider what chinese places want for a 3 or 4 choice take out lunch special - instead you get 40 choices and all you can eat. I liked it and will be back.”

“White spot is one of my favourite restaurants. I get beef dip almost every time. I would say the only complaint is that the amount of meat on it is inconsistent. I love it and go for theirs specifically because it's loaded with neat but sometimes it's like half the amount of meat. The last time we went it was half the amount of meat and my bun was so soaked it was mush on the bottom. They had to remake it and took quite a while and then came back and took the other one which kind of left a bad taste in my mouth, because I could have put the meat on mine to make it the normal piled amount. And I know they take that to just throw it out and I hate food being wasted. However other than that, their food is always very good and the staff are awesome and I love the chill quiet atmosphere. Bathrooms are always clean too.”
