“Although I am not exactly the target audience for an English Tea room, I have to say that Butchart far exceeded any expectations! Although we have been to the Gardens many times over the last 4 decades, this is the first time that my wife suggested that we take “High Tea” before our stroll through the amazing gardens... And of course it proved to be a wonderful idea as I relished every bite and sip (we also had the 3-glass “taster” which paired with the food nicely)... I will absolutely be taking tea on our next visit!“

“First time at this Restaurant, shared 2 appetizers , the Fire Cracker Shrimp and the Calamari. Both were cooked very well and not overcooked which is easy to do with these 2 items. Also had the Fish and Chips , home cut fries and lightly battered fish , was very good, coleslaw was very bland. Overall 4 /5 for this establishment .“

“Return visit to Wild Mountain and was not disappointed. Had the gnocchi to start (shared plate) followed by the chicken breast - both were delicious. Appreciated the well curated BC wine list, always an opportunity to try something new. As always, service was friendly and knowledgeable. Farm to table dining at its finest!“

“Browns social house! Don’t let the $11 corona throw you off, the prices are reasonable and the atmosphere is electric. The staff are professional and friendly and the clientele is elite. Make sure to try out the frozen Bellini and don’t be afraid if Dan comes to your table and starts harassing you, he’s harmless. Overall, I’d definitely go back as soon as possible! But again, $11 for a corona?“

“Cool place to have a drink on a patio in LangfordStandard menu. Nothing special.The server mixing drinks has no idea how to make sangria. I got red wine with ice. Took about 4 times until I gave up a got a rum and coke. Each time took 20 minutes.“

“Our stay was good, the rooms were nice and clean. The pool and sauna were functional. The only reason for removing one star was the complimentary breakfast deal.There was just one girl who was serving, taking orders for the crowd of around 25-30 people eating there at that time (9:00ish in the morning). And she was really doing a great job but she shouldn't have to do it all. The service was slow even though she was on the run all the time. Bringing our orders took around 25-30 minutes. Food was delicious though. I asked for cream for the coffee and by the time I got the cream the coffee was ice cold.Overall I recommend it but management should take care of the service at the restaurant.Rooms: Neat and cleanFood & drinks: There is a restaurant on the ground floor. Also cotsco is right across the street.“

“This place has the best breakfast ever because every dish you get there is so much food on the plate and it looks gorgeous it’s also not a traditional breakfast it’s a big meal and they put so much effort in making the food then there are also sport shows on the tv’s. Our servers were really nice.The atmosphere is beautiful there is a nice bar and every thing is clean I totally recommend this restaurant if you’re staying in the hotel. “We were a large group and our server was superb! My only disappointment was the Chicken Broccoli Cheese dish. There was too much bread crumbs and not enough cheese. It made the consistency of the dish grainy and not creamy.Typical White Spot decor.“

“We were there for the first time for a bday party function. It was actually a pretty good place to have a big gathering. Staff were very nice and helpful. The Indian food was excellent. The wings were very good. The poutine (ordered by a kid...) was not great poutine as poutines go but it was ok. I'd love to try more of the Indian dishes. Two menus (Indian and Pub style stuff). I think the Indian is the key menu here but the other things looked worth trying. Will be back during a regular night.“
