We had three meze and two small plates which shared among four of us. It was perfect. When I'm back in Penticton I will definitely go to Elma for another meal.”

We had appetizers and a drink also. Not expensive at all for a full plate meal. Food was ready in less than 10 min and was hot and delicious. We had a window seat. The server, a young lady, was great.”

“In late April 2023, we were blessed with a pretty fantastic winetasting experience here.Kelly was very friendly and inviting, and I felt fortunate at the amount of time that she spent, explaining the evolution of this winery. I say fortunate, because we were able to go behind the scenes and look at the tasting room while it was under construction. in fact, we were blessed enough to be able to take a look at all of the developments of this fairly new location. You wouldn’t know it, but they have an entire production facility, right downtown, complete with everything you need to make the wine… Large tanks, barrel storage, everything. It was quite something to see.Back to the tasting, we enjoyed our tasting at the bar in the restaurant. They had a decent selection of very good wine like evolve sparking wine, Chardonnay Pinot blancwhite effervescence which was Chardonnay Pinot blanc I think she said,a different version of that followed by 2021 Pinot GrisAnd more.A note about the restaurant, they Source their proteins/meat from locally grown, organic, where possible. you can see some of the meat as it’s ‘dry aging.’ They will take one of these hunks of meat, and cut your steak They cook it. I don’t know any other place in the Okanagan that does this. We were told that their menu is pretty much constantly changing, as nothing will be served if it isn’t fresh or Current, as far as locally sourced as much as possible, is concerned. This restaurant takes its food very seriously, and you’ll know this when you dine here.Overall, it was a very good tasting experience, located right down in Penticton, BC. if you have some time, I recommend checking this place out.Other notes:The entire facility is located in a heritage building, so there were some limitations imposed upon how much change they could make.There won’t be any other tasting bar like this in the Okanagan, they’ve made quite the effort to capture the wine tasting, “cocktail culture“ fine dining, a shared place, with some private rooms for you to book a more intimate function and/or events. I think they’ve even had at least one proposal planned on this location :-)”

“I was there for Matt Dusk (lounge singer / jazz crooner). The show itself was amazing and beyond any expectations that I had. Perfect environment. Intimate setting. Sound was on point for a live jazz event. Food was really good. Menu options weren't "vegetarian"...but definitely more plant-focused. I did the 3-course "chef menu" where you tell them any allergies or foods you hate...then the chef makes you whatever he feels like making. I'd do it again. What it lacked for in food selection, it more than made up for in the actual venue, atmosphere, sound, lighting, etc. Would 100% definitely return for another show.”

This week when their holiday packs were released, I decided to take advantage and snag a few of the sold out wines I had really enjoyed. “Very good place to have coffee. Staff very friendly. I was recently homeless and the Managers there called the police in me for giving some smarties to a friend. Very discriminatory against aboriginals and homeless. They just assume all homeless people are either drug dealers or drug users. I am am neither; just reastablsihing my life. It made me angry to be profiled; especially at such a forward thinking place as Starbucks. Those two managers judge based of fear, arrogance, but never have tried empathy or communication. They didn't even ask they just assumed and they assumed wrong. I am not one to sue anyone or company but even after buying a coffee and being a customer I was still discriminated against. I am First Nations and was homeless, but not anymore. I plan on going there as often as possible and eat a pack of smarties just to show that Smarties is not only not a drug but lying to a police officer is a crime, and so is racial profiling. Oops! They should both be fired in my opinion. That was this just morning before 11 am. I even ate the smarties in front of the police officer to show him they were just smarties and was still asked to leave. Again, that was a fail. I am a free thinking Canadian, enjoys his free speech and loves to share :).”

“I've been there several times over the years. Saved my life going through chemo. I have end stage COPD and my dog who is 7 is with me constantly. He is certified for medical service. (Picture ID) I've never had a problem before but today I was asked to wait outside. The one girl said the other had allergies. Fair enough I'm happy to. The girl with the allergy brought me my drink. I questioned her on the allergy thats when things went sideways. She got upset me and I was upset too.As the place was busy i left. I'm giving them a 4 because this is the first time I've had that problem. Normally customer service is good. Never a complaint about the product.”

Because chocolate is my favourite flavour, she got me a very tasty log cake. With chocolate soft serve and chocolate crunch on the inside, this decadent cake was surrounded by chocolate fudge then wrapped in a thick outside coating of chocolate/vanilla ice cream sprinkled with chocolate crumbs and birthday decorations. Not only did we enjoy it for my birthday but because this cake serves eight, we continued to celebrate for a few more days!!”

“Everyone here treated us like royalty. I hardly go to restaurants because of a couple big (strange) food allergies I have but I have to say, with the care and attention the staff went through for my birthday lunch , I will definitely be back. The staff went above and beyond to make sure nothing, and I mean nothing, was on my plate that I couldn't eat and I know for sure that there was no cross contamination. This was all done with respect and understanding ( no heavy sighs, no bothered attitude, no eye rolling). This respect was also presented when I just ordered sparkling water with my meal instead of a wine or other beverage. The meal was fabulous and we all left full and satisfied ( even though the plate was not stuffed with cheap filler foods that no one eats anyways) and the flavors were perfectly melded with nothing over powering (like when the whole meal tastes like garlic or season salt). Kudos to the chef for art on a plate and kudos to the lovely staff at this beautiful, tucked away restaurant with a stunning view.”

I don't typically write reviews but she stood out from your average server, hence why I'm inclined to wrote this review as a gesture of gratitude.She was kind, caring, and met every one of our expectations, we would expect, and she proved she is extremely versed and professional!Her smile and upbeat attitude were fantastic especially during the hectic busy fast laced environment that evening.Rose could have had a less positive attitude given how busy it was and the circumstances that evening, however she persevered.We will definitely 100% go back to Match because of Rose. “Came in for a quick lunch as I am painting my home. I used the app (first time) and tried to get an offer for a Papa burger and onion rings. The order only showed the burger. So I asked at the till but they weren’t sure how to handle it. They quickly referred me to Brandon (I assume a supervisor or manager) who quickly addressed my concern and happily added onion rings to my order without extra charge. He was kind and very courteous. I will be coming back! Plus my kids love this place and the kids packs :)”

“Such a great summer venue! Pets allowed, comfy patio seating, amazing Mexican-style food (altho I cannot say it’s authentic, it is tasty none the less).Two minor downsides…the only wine option, Foolish Wine, is not good (in my opinion) and while the patio is almost perfect, they have no music for some strange reason. This is a bit of a bummer as it is on a fairly busy street. Music would make a huge improvement to the experience. That said, we will definitely be back!”
