“Been coming here for over 5 years now and I feel the quality has gone down. Soya chicken and bbq pork are always my go tos but the bbq was so so mediocre the last time I went (a couple days ago). It was dry and lacked flavour, something I’d find at T&T, really disappointing because I don’t know where else to get that kind of pork anymore. The soya chicken was delicious as always however! Though, the rice combos only come with one measly piece of broccoli… I really hope this was just a fluke, will try again on a later date.“
“You better make a reservation in advance before having dim sum in Kirin. As I know they are quite full even in weekdays. Kirin is the only restaurant I am willing to have dim sum in North America. Dim sum is in high quality and with prompt service .“
“A decent spot. We tried the R1 cheung fan with beef shrimp and chive, S26 braise beef lo mein, and hk milk tea.The cheung fan was a little over steamed but the flavour was quite tasty. The braised beef lo mein was actually really good and I'd come back just for this. The noodles were a perfect balance of soft and chewy and the meat was very tender. The hk milk tea tasted powdery and was hard to mix to a good consistency to enjoy.“
“Food court dim sum at very affordable prices. Their steamed rice wrap was very good, large and full of "liu", tasty bits of meat and mushrooms to compliment the sticky rice. January 2024: The combo with sticky rice wrap, 3 dumplings, spring roll and fried sweet dessert. was $11.50 and you can do a sweet item add-on (in our case we got the Mango Tapioca smoothie) for $2 instead of $5-$6.Decent dim sum for the lower price point so they get the 5 stars for that.“
“This is a Cantonese restaurant that I will definitely come to when in Vancouver. I am very satisfied with both the dining environment and the service?! The food in the restaurant tastes very good! This time I came here specifically to eat king crab, and the Maggi king crab cooked by the chef himself was really delicious! Jack, who helped us locate the place, was very attentive and helped us prepare everything from appetizers to desserts, and the service was perfect! The food is delicious! recommend!“
“CRISPY! CRISPY! CRISPY!Definitely one of the best (if not the best) places in Richmond for clay pot rice. Crispy rice at the bottom of the pot. The way it should be.The Free Range Chicken with Mushroom was soooo good. It took 20mins for them to make it. But it was well worth the wait. All the items were in English. Unlike some of the other food courts in Richmond, where they’re all in Chinese. Makes ordering so much easier. Will be back to try their other dishes.,“
“One of the best HK style noodle place....wonton...brisket..tendon..sui gow...Hainese chicken...hk style milk tea...lemon tea...it's all good..even better then some places in HK.. one of my highest recommendation.. I give them 100 out of 10..wheelchair access ..kids friendly ...plaza and street parking“
“Fisherman's Terrace Chinese Seafood Restaurant exceeded all expectations! From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly by the staff. The ambiance was inviting, with a perfect blend of modern elegance and traditional charm. Now, let's talk about the food - absolutely divine! Each dish was expertly prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with authentic flavors. The seafood selection was particularly impressive; every bite was a delight for the taste buds. The service was impeccable, with attentive staff ensuring our every need was met without being intrusive. The attention to detail truly sets Fisherman's Terrace apart from other restaurants.Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving exceptional Chinese cuisine, I highly recommend Fisherman's Terrace. It's a dining experience that will leave you wanting to come back for more. Truly deserving of five stars!“
“Fresh and delicious Cantonese food in Richmond. We got recommended to pre-ordered the famous soya sauce chicken. The chicken is moist, tender and juicy, which didn’t disappoint us. We also ordered a fresh prawn shrimp with vermicelli in a clay hot. The vermicelli is full of the flavor from the pan fried shrimp, yet not soggy with nice chewy texture. Lastly, we have a stir-fried Chinese broccoli with beef. Again, the dish came out very hot and fresh. It would have been better that all the dishes came out at the same time. We had to wait on the 3rd dish to arrive after finished eating two of the dishes. It is a busy restaurant, make sure that you make a reservation for your table and pre-order the soya sauce chicken, to avoid any disappointment.“
“We had breakfast on a Monday morning:- 10am and there were people waiting in line. Good thing there were still a few empty 2-seaters available. Just party of 3 or more need waiting.- Surprisingly good service for HK-style restaurants. Waitresses asked if we need this or that even before we opened our mouths. Not just one waitress but two of them being extremely helpful and exceptionally polite. Very surprised.- Portion size is small in North American standard but considerably more than restaurants in Hong Kong. Taste is Hong Kong authentic.- Price is fair. $14.95 for a small Beef Brisket Noodle 牛腩米線 + Soy Sauce Chow Mein 豉油王炒麵 + hot coffee. $15.95 for Ham & Cheese Omelet 芝士蛋奄力 + French Toast 西多士 + Satay Beef Macaroni 沙爹牛肉通粉 + hot coffee. But if you factor in how much work need to cook these, then price is considered expensive.- All other restaurants in the plaza close on Mondays. Maybe that's why Van Tea was full when we arrived at 10am Monday morning.“
“Service was awesome, they didn't try to rush us out when they started getting a little busy. Very kid friendly. Rice portion was huge. Bigger than other restaurants and the price is very reasonable. Workers were very nice. I will definitely go there again and recommend it to others.“
“We made it a point to have dim sum while visiting Vancouver. We had such a good experience at Chef Tony! The restaurant is clean. Service was attentive and friendly. The food was delicious--best dim sum we've had so far (most of our experiences have been in Socal and Seattle). Scallops were cooked perfectly in the rice noodles. Other steamed dishes were perfectly hot all the way through. Egg tart and lava bun desserts were perfectly balanced in sweetness and texture.Overall, we loved Chef Tony and would be happy to return!“
“Customize your soup, noodle, and ingredients you want. Pick from fish broth to their Tom Yum soup. The soup is hot and they load up your bowl. The broth is flavorful and a bowl is super filling. The picture is the watercress and almond soup, with beef brisket, and yu choy. It also came with the napa veggie and mushrooms. Will definitely visit again.Parking: Upper level. There is a lot of stalls, but it is for numerous businesses. May need to wait for someone to leave to find a spot.Wheelchair accessibility: Good. Spots in the front of restaurant.“
“Nice place for dimsum in Richmond. Food is made to order so freshly and quickly served. Not a cheap place but you get what you pay for here. Chunks of shrimp in the hargow, fresh chives in the shrimp dumplings and very nice noodles. If you make a reservation you get to sit in the main room but the smaller rooms are better for conversation.“
“I was recommended this place by a few friends, and I have to say it was one of the better rice rolls I've had. The layers of the rolls are very thin and fresh. We got the beef, pork, and shrimp roll, chopped scallop rice roll, and a congee.I enjoyed the beef pork shrimp rice roll, which was tasty. The meat was nice and soft. The scallop roll pieces however were a bit small and hard to pick up with the roll.“
