“The food was good and healthy, but waiting for food for 1 hour is not worthed. We had to cancel the visit to Butchart Gardens because we had waited so long for food plus the time eating.”

“Probably the cheapest food that's actually good you can get anywhere in Vic. Huge shout out to Nick who I've had a few times. Guy isn't afraid to ask for clarification if he gets something wrong and is apologetic if he's busy. Please give him raise. I always sit as far away from the speakers as I can and still find myself getting a bit overstimulated after a couple hours. Also feel like at times servers are stretched too thin with how many people/tables they have to manage which can make service take a while. Please Fel's just give me the pitcher of water from the get go I promise I can drink it all myself.Also the flourless brownie is a steal and you're doing a disservice to yourself if you don't get it.”

The event allowed us to get together enjoying scrumptious food, both vegetarian and non-vegetarian. Although we have been to the Gardens many times over the last 4 decades, this is the first time that my wife suggested that we take “High Tea” before our stroll through the amazing gardens... And of course it proved to be a wonderful idea as I relished every bite and sip (we also had the 3-glass “taster” which paired with the food nicely)... “When I came to the restaurant, the staff was incredibly friendly. It felt like I was in a boutique restaurant. We ordered a chai and it had a lovely aroma definitely was made fresh, samosas the pastry was nice and flaky. It had a light seasoning on it very crispy, but not overcooked. The flavour on the inside was lovely and it was served with a red tamarind sauce sauce that was a little spicy. then I had goat biryani and chicken biryani the goat and chicken were so tender, not rubbery like most restaurants. The flavour was good. Gulab jamun the soft cake, texture, and the sweet of the sauce with rose water You could see the fresh spices they used now this was a total authentic experience. I will definitely come back again and again”

“Pros: Delicious scones and good breakfast items. Would recommend the ranchero wrap and the white chocolate scone. Spacious, seats have backs, and big tables. Great coffee nice patio out back and cool atmosphere.Cons: Not the cleanest place I’ve been in. Lots of crumbs on the tables and rings on my coffee cup. Not a huge deal, but still.Overall: I go at least once a week because it’s a dimly lite place that’s nice to sit and have coffee-scone meditation time early in the morning. The place is always pack and by 9-10 these a line to the door. That speaks for itself. Would recommend a visit if you haven’t had the pleasure. Would also recommend the staff give the tables a wipe.”
