“I was so happy to find a place for pupusas in Vancouver having not eaten them in eight months This small cafe has delicious pupusas with a few flavours. I got the chicharrón y queso (pork and cheese) but next time I want to try the loroco. The tamarindo drink was very refreshing too. The ration of three is really filling especially with the curtido. Nice staff as well. They are bigger than pupusas I’ve had before so I was pleasantly surprised. I’ll come back next time I’m craving pupusas!“

“This is a very clean but not very spacious place (5 tables total). You order at the counter, pay right away, and you can pour yourself some water while waiting. The wait is not long.Food for me was very good, tender, and very tasty. When you're finished, there is a bin for dirty dishes. I will definetely come back!“

“We indulged in a variety of dishes at Miso Taco, including the Kimchi Nacho Fries with Chicken Karaage, Tuna Tataco, and Brilla Dilla with Ramen. The portions were generous and satisfying, offering great value for the price. We ended up taking some leftovers home as we couldn't finish it all in one sitting. The fusion of Japanese and Mexican flavors was executed perfectly. Travis, our server, was attentive and friendly. The restaurant tends to get quite busy, especially during happy hour, so I'd recommend making a reservation. We will definitely be returning for more!“

“Regular Mexican place. Good variety of food and drinks on menu. Many vegetarian options available as well. Flexible with customizing order. We visited on a weekend night and it was quite crowded. Took time for serving. Taste was good. Worth a visit if you’re around. Not much parking available.“

“As a hospitality instructor, I took my students for a dinner to show how a food outlet operates. Manager Jose was very helpful, he shared his experience with the students, which was highly motivating. We enjoyed the reasonably priced food. Jose has given a tour of the entire restaurant and kitchen to all the students, which was very helpful and I do appreciate a lot for his kind hospitality and care for the future of this industry. “The vibe here is super energetic, but it's not the best for chatting because it's pretty loud. However, let's talk about the food! I had the carne asada burrito and oh my goodness, it was amazing! The meat was cooked just right and there was plenty of it. The rib eye steak had these flavorful fatty bits that were like explosions in my mouth. And the melted cheese on the tortilla was fresh and packed with flavor. I'd give this place a solid 10/10 and it's definitely my new favorite spot for Mexican food!“

“La Taqueria has the BEST burrito I had ever had in my life - the crispy chicken burrito (with guac) is amazing and packs so much flavour. My wife had the Enchiladas Verde and she also loved it. The restaurant is definitely cozy and with very little seating but warm and inviting.The house beer was a perfect complement to the meal and the staff were also very knowledgeable about tequila and mescal. “This has been me and my husband's favorite place for about 9 years now. All vegetarian options can be made vegan and the most flavorful, fulfilling and satisfying flavors in a burrito you will ever get. I'm vegetarian leaning towards vegan but my husband is an absolute carnivore and he was the one who showed me this place and now it's our spot. Over the years they have also made the atmosphere more cozy and warm and it's just a cool vibe overall. It's honestly one of the best kept secrets and I really wanna keep it that way. I always get the Blaire Stanley made vegan and my husband gets the Johnny O (make sure to ask for a side of their sauces, the chili oil and Verde sauce are the best IMO ?). I also love that they give you options of tortilla, beans, Lettuce and sauces. i cant say enough good things, I LOVE LOVE LOVE BUDGIES and it will always be my favorite burrito place over all the places. “Before covid I'd go to their truck down by Canada Place regularly but haven't been downtown much since. So when I googled for a new Mexican place I'd noticed at Fraser and 46th Ave recently Arturos also came up on Fraser St tucked away and hidden down in the industrial area, I'm told by the awesome worker there that it's their commissary kitchen for the truck, so it's not really a restaurant but I did notice a communal table with 6 chairs but not sure if that's available to eat there. Had the mucho macho soup, Mexican taco with carnitas and the Mrs. had a chicken burrito. It was all excellent and now the only problem is having this place so close to home with such affordable delicious food we may be in danger of ordering too often ?‍♂️ good problem to have!!“

While it was adequate, it paled in comparison to the other dishes offered.
