Delicious homey Japanese curry. Tried their Menchi Katsu Curry (Fried seasoned beef patty) with beef curry sauce and it was excellent. Beef patty was well seasoned with onion and black pepper. Fried fresh to order. Their pumpkin croquette was fluffy, sweet and crispy, a perfect add on to the curry. Beef curry base is very savoury and comforting. Small little Japanese curry house with limited seating on W 8th off Cambie. Big portions so bring an appetite. Fast service and really nice people. I think the chicken curry is bit more tender than the beef ( which I had - pictured) but both are delicious lots of other selections too including vegan and non curry katsu as well. Nothing fancy inside but go for the food. Priced right.
